@HighPriestFuneral He told her not to fight and to call a professional Huntsman. @HighPriestFuneral Exactly, the nature of recruiting someone to help save the world from a group of people who want to work to keep it safe isn't a bad thing. STRQ enters Beacon at age 17, same as WBY, JNPR, and all the other first years, except for Ruby because she's two years younger. This makes Ozpin 12 years older because he first became Beacon Headmaster at age 29. (17+12=29) Beacon is 3-4 years of schooling, basically a College for Huntsmen Degrees. STRQ is now 20-21 and Ozpin is 32-33. If we assume shotgun wedding/pregnancy for Raven with Yang (basically not long after graduating), then fast forward another 17 years and STRQ (or at least TRQ) are now 37-38, bare minimum. Add 12 years and that's 49-50 years of age by the time Volume 1 starts. This is assuming bare minimum time passes by with the youngest possible ages following the logic of that time. Since they could easily be older, Ozpin would also be older from two different perspectives. 12 years older than STRQ is the bare minimum, and any time after graduation but before Raven is pregnant with Yang is also possibly added, so Ozpin can be 60+ and it would still make sense. The opposite is also true, if Ozpin didn't become Headmaster until AFTER STRQ's year, then he's closer to their age by those respective years, in addition to a few months if Raven was pregnant by the time STRQ graduated, though that's unlikely. Raven may have made some bad decisions, but I doubt she'd be so reckless as to be a pregnant teenager. But, given Port's tale of being an assistant teacher during STRQ's tenure, it is very unlikely. Because they aren't. It's a common point of confusion / theory, but the maidens came later during another Oz incarnation. Per Oz in V5 "You see, centuries ago, I sacrificed a great deal of magic to four young women, who I hoped would use my gift for good. They were the first Maidens." His daughters got magic "genetically" rather than being given it after the fact.
@@tablekun8690 4 daughters, ok I think the number 4 is more thematic than anything. There are 4 relics, 4 team members in a Huntsmen squad, 4 kingdoms, 4 maidens, etc. His daughters were wielding the proto-humans' type of magic and not the elemental type that we see the Maidens unleash. Also, it's grim to say, but his daughters are heavily implied dead in V6CH3. As for lying, yeah that is true, he does, but if there are moments in canon that show he was truthful in this case. Ozpin said he gave away powers and he looked measurably weaker during his fight with Cinder who was a newly-minted Maiden. How could a master magic user lose to a novice? I don't think it was a case of intentionally dying since it set him and his faction so far back. He might be numb to regular human sacrifice and death by now, but fighting and delaying Salem has always been his objective. Overall, believe what you'd like, but that's my thought process on why I don't subscribe to this theory.
This really hurt to watch. Something is telling that Summer and Pyrrah aren't exactly the first pawns for Ozpin's chess game. How many young people did he recruited for this "secret" mission? Let's hope Ruby doesn't suffer the same fate.
They weren't pawns. Though I do think it's unfortunate how many people must have died. I'm actually making a video on the effect it may have had on Oz.
@Maria Paz G. Lesme What's debatable? That many people died? That it's unfortunate? Or that it affected Oz? Because the first two are wrong and the third is only debatable if you think he's a sociopath who doesn't care about others which is heavily disproven in the show. I mean, he left Salem over people dying in a war. Or do you mean that they weren't pawns. Look at my sociopath statement and also, a silver eyed warrior (allegedly) and a maiden are only pawns if you don't know what pawns are. Nora, Ren and Blake would be the pawns. Weiss would only be drawn out by her ridiculous semblance. And Yang by her power. And out of a fight, she's a liability because all she does is complain. An Ozpin who was manipulative would have turned Ruby against her and kicked her out by now, not retreat from the plot when one of his friends told him he wished he'd never met him.
@@JesseGolo I didn't watch any of your theories videos. Not interesed. Secondly, I never said that Ozpin was a sociopath, never thinked about that. This is just a simple debate about his character.

@@CrumblingCubeIt makes a fair bit of sense. Though I understand why people go through epileptic trees trying to fit everything together.
She seems like a nice person. I'm sure she'll live a long happy life...
More headmaster chuckles, Ospin?
the maidens are simps for ozpin
the part with wash killed me
I wouldn't be so sure on that timeline thing. Check out EruptionFang's video and he will surprise you.
I'm kinda confused why Ozpin laughs everytime they say Headmaster. Can someone explain? I don't understand jokes ever.
Which got me confused why didn’t ozpin take back his powers from the fall maiden amber he would be stronger than no magic ozpin
I wonder what would happen if the maiden powers ended up inside someone who was gender fluid?
The Oz watch
Now can we get a What Caboose think's of
This really hurt to watch. Something is telling that Summer and Pyrrah aren't exactly the first pawns for Ozpin's chess game. How many young people did he recruited for this "secret" mission? Let's hope Ruby doesn't suffer the same fate.
Maria Paz G. Lesme don’t worry, the title characters can’t die (until the show ends, that is).
They weren't pawns. Though I do think it's unfortunate how many people must have died. I'm actually making a video on the effect it may have had on Oz.
@@JesseGolo That's debatable.
Is it bad that when I heard him talking through the entire thing I was so ready for them to say at the moment she got into that elevator it’s gonna say dead by the next season
I LOST IT WHEN I SAW WASHINGTON
So funny!!!🤣🤣🤣
👍
how many past lives did you have oz!?
“Depends on if you count the lives from the famines, burnt through a LOT of hosts very quickly in those days. Half the time we didn’t even make it to the “I’m checking myself into the loony bin tomorrow” shtick before malnutrition finished them off.”
How many lives does the guy that predates humanity have?
Plenty. In Oz land, that's all we need to know.
I wonder why ironwood and Glynda was late ;) Bow chica bow bow!~
wait, what was that last speech from? The one you added?
From Game of Thrones. It's the Night's Watch vow.
