Well, actually you might use holding Control(windows) or Command (mac) to get the handle straight with the opposite handle. However, it will also change the direction of the opposite handle. So, just be careful when doing this. Just in case you want straight handles on an anchor (6:36 to 7:40) Have a good day :)

+zamree BM This has drove me crazy coming from photoshop to illustrator where there is this ridiculous preview line following the mouse where you go. Go to setting in the pen tool (Ctrl +k, then selection, Select or clear the Enable Rubber Band for Pen Tool checkbox. Hope this help anyone else.
+timothyzc is the setting available for cs6 version? im using cs6 before until i download the cc2015 recently after seeing some comments says this features only available in cc2014 and above. anyway thank you

***** This is something that was added to illustrator in the CC 2014 Update, you'll have to update your illustrator to have this feature, hope this helps!
