Thank you so much. I didn't know this existed. There are multiple places in my home where the corner bead looks terrible and it drives me crazy. This information along with your easy to follow video is much appreciated!

Thanks for posting this- I just ordered from your website. I will post this on my blog as well. We live in military housing, and I thought it was just bad paint, but I see that it is something that happens over time. Great Invention. I will definetly tell others about these products.
I appreciate you doing this, but a person's standards would have to be pretty low to paint over this and call it a day. No way this would look good to most people's eyes.
I totally agree. I tried it and it looked horrible. Had to work like heck to get it off and do it right by using hotmud and feathering in.
That’s half ass
Cool. Been trying to do it with spackle and texture sponge and its no good.
Wow that is so cool, I had no idea there was anything that looks so easy!
So you can just paint right over this? You don't need to do anything to fill in the unevenness between the wall and tape? No sanding?? That sounds good to me!
Will this peel off after a while?
Zero chance. Thanks for your interest in our USA Made Stress Crack Tape. You can find this item at your Sherwin Williams
But How to match the color of paint on the wall?
Can’t you cut it ..also use a smaller strip ..or is it needed to be so wide of a strip
You can cut to size without issue. We USA manufacture our Stress Crack Tape in various size rolls too. 12’ pre-textured, 30’x 1.25” smooth, 50’x 2” smooth, 60’x 1.25” smooth, 100’x 1.25” smooth. Plus you can buy our Stress Crack Tape in 13’ repair pack in both smooth as well as textured at your local Sherwin Williams Paint Store. Sherwin Williams supports small USA manufacturers. I have an 18oo's home plastered walls On the outside corner there is a wooden piece meant to protect the corner but the corner has broken and there is no straight line How do I repair and replace that corner piece?
why dont they just make a roll of tape where you can cut it to the required lengh? 12ins or so lenths are pethetic and they wont last very long a few knocks and they will come off
thank you so much, this looks nice and easy for me to do myself!
Where can I buy this stress crack tape at I live in Washington state I e tried Ace Hardware, Walmart, lows, Home Depot

Anyone from UK can help me what to use instead?
How do you suggest I remove blood and hair from my wall?
Gary Martinez O.o
Um...don't party so hard next time
Can you tell me if this is available in Canada, because so far I can't find it! Thank you!
This video just saved me from this issue I couldn’t figure out how to fix the edges lol no paint would cover it! Thank you going to get some of this stuff!
Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for.
Try Sherwin Williams
I am in Canada ..... Can't find anywhere ...... Any thoughts out there , please ?
I tried tape, when u spackle over it, it leaves a bump. It’s never good. I sand and spackle over and over and still, a hump in that area.
Yes, and it will be smooth in the spackle area after sanding, but tape won't be smooth. Forget the tape. Just spackle any divots and sand up to the metal. Prime and paint
How to repair a corner where the metal seems to be "peeking" through the drywall and is showing a crack? Ideas?
Thank you!
Anybody know how to get this in the UK or of a similar product available here?
Can this be sprayed textured without wanting to peel off as some papers do when they become wet with spray texture? Thanks for showing this product it definitely is needed on my end!
Allen Portman no issues with painting over or spray texturing our patching and repair products. They are not paper, they are a very strong polypropylene. Thanks for your interest in our US made items. Stepsaver Products
Wow! So easy! Thanks! :-)
Perfect
Thanks!
I would rather mix up fresh batch of plaster n apply with putty knife being my house was built in 57 never had peel n stick paper on corners.
Old Timer I have edges I need to repair in my old house. My kids used to ride Hoover boards in the house and Knocked the bottom corners off. How do I fix it
I tried using joint compound, but never got it to cover the metal peeking through - it was an absolute mess. This looks like a good alternative to stressing out over my inexperienced application of mud. This widowed mom can't keep up w/house repairs fast enough!
Don't use this - the edges show up even after 3 coats of paint. Looks awful.
Janice C I think you have to feather it out. 1/2, then 1 and then 1 1/2". That's how I would go about it, but I'm no pro
I have the same question regarding edge showing? I would think maybe would strengthen and blend better if textured edges feathered and shot your finish texturing repaired area. I have edges messed up in the house I am currently doing which walls will be retextured with orange peel to match (hopefully) the old. Flooded during Harvey.
Janice C u have to spackle it and sand it, but even then, u get humps in the area. It’s never perfect.
thank goodness looking at the worn edges was killing me.
How are people liking this shit?? It still looks like shit.... would be nice if some how you could sand the corners of the tape to blend into the wall and then paint... hmm maybe spread some hot mud over the edges of tape on the the wall and sand lightly so it can blend in and THEN paint...
I thought I was the only one haha.
That's homeowners...we like them stupid tho.
outside wall corner
I don't think so.
list what ive invented? what u rambling on about ? let me tell u if i had a mind i would invent somthing better than sticky tape and it would be the right size as well
👍👍
10 year old vid wow
Getting defensive and insulting people for there input sure isn't a very good way to get people to purchse your product.
thanks again. i made a error when rating this vid- sorry (1st time giving someone my rating- my badd)
servepro.....:P
you are not repairing, the overlaps make the wall more ugly
an expert at sticking tape? im a plasterer no need to fiddle about with tape
if they come in larger sizes why dident u use just one long one to cover the corner?
an expert in sticking tape? lol what ever next hihihpojihlihi was right tape looks crap
That was a question I had why wouldn't it come in a roll or in some form to do one continuous instead of a million short pieces? That seems like a gimmick since you would have to purchase 10 packs to do any serious damaged corners in a house.
I feel like with this, our apartment complex is so petty, I’d never see my security deposit again
