AVI is the Best. Been going there for 20 years every summer. Have not miss until now due to Covid. Such miss the place. The staff there are the Best. Always someone new there who treated you like a friend. We will be back next summer

Hey, Russ. The Museum you mentioned on Hwy 68 by Davis camp has been moved to the community park in BHC on Hwy 95, south about 2-3 miles from the bridge It's in a nice new building there alongside a red schoolhouse. I live here in Bullhead City so I know as you've mentioned about our wonderful weather😃. Thanks for your great videos, Terry.
After I know RVerTV, I feel more comfortable to see desert than forest of high tower buildings. anyway, it's good to see more and more store open.
avi is native American owned, I always stay there when in laughlin. Best food in walking distance is the mexican resturant in the parking lot.

Thanks for the Laughlin tour. I haven’t been there for 25 years when it was like three casinos you could walk to along the river. Amazing how things changed.

Great video, We have been going to Laughlin for several years, especially when our kids were young. I don't recommend staying at Don Laughlin's RV resort. We were there last year and found long term people staying with their couches outside their rigs( if that's what you would call them) didn't feel safe staying in the park at all. We have stayed at the KOA across from the AVI and liked it.
I like the green grass against the desert landscape.
i say you film union pass. its the beautiful moutain range on the 68 going from bullhead, golden valley and kingman. the mountain range was so gorgeous to pass through. i stlll remember it to this day. also caught the milkyway for once in my entire life out there! couldnt believe my eyes!!!!
Water taxi is $5.00 per person. We just returned home from Laughlin. Had a great time on the lake, riding jet skis! We stayed at the Villa at the Golden Nugget.

Hey did you happen to see the five hundred bucks I left up there in Laughlin
The first time i was directed to the " rvertv" sight i didn't watch too long. I haven't been out in the desert and it was very new to me. I hooked up again several times and realized what a big world it was out there. Here it takes about 2 hours to go around the island and you're done. Thanks for sharing.
Wow how different Laughlin is from when I lived there back in the early 90s. There was no bridge to get to Bullhead City just ferry boats.
That day use area is awesome.

I visited the Avi in April of 2019. The dry camping area was open. I arrived around 10:00 in my camper van and chose a nice spot in the camping area. The security guard rousted me around 11:30 and told me I could not camp here because I did not have a gray water system with a drain. I told him I never camped anywhere that required that. He said that's the way it is at Avi. He was nice enough to let me spend the night. I'm curious if anyone else has had that problem.
Thanks for the drive by of laughlin Russ, last time we went we just parked our RV in the Edge water parking lot and went in and got a 30 dollar room. The RV campground
probably would of cost 45.00. I herd you say you'll go back and spend one night there in town, You party animal you.
Hey Russ. Just wanted to point out that if you are looking for goid spots to 4x4. On the Nevada side across from K-landing there are lots of trails. Atleast when i lived in Bullhead. We used pick up some honeydo melons on the vine in the desert and meet people at the coves on the Nevada side.
Hey russ. U should check out telephone cove across from Katherine landing on Nevada side. Very nice b l m campground. Lots of trails.
When it cools off and you head towards Pahrump and Death Valley, consider a side trip to Amorgosa Valley, NV.
With the Avi Casino Campground shut down, the Riverside parking lot will get real full. So basically if you're not spending fifty bucks a day gambling out you go.

The picture perfect postcard moment to me, was in the beginning, how proud the American Flag stood over the prettiest blue water, against the prettiest brown Rocky mountain, against the prettiest blue sky. This was a nice day to see Davis Dam, & down to Mohave. Have a nice day. 👍
$5 one way for the water taxi on the colorado river. They used to have an all-day pass but I think they discontinued it because of covid.
As an Australian I have to ask. What's with all those casinos ? Watching you drive through the desert, when those things appear, to me they look like a blot on the landscape. Here in Australia we only have 20 of them, spread over 8 states and territories, and they're heavily regulated.

Hey Russ! Well, if you want to see the point where California, Nevada, and Arizona meet, you're going to have to get your feet wet. That point is right in the middle of the Colorado River. When you find the spot, look up at the mountains due east and you'll see a big cone-shaped mountain. That's Boundary Cone. From the river, if you're south of it, you're in California, and if you're north of it, you're in Nevada.

I would not to the Avi right now, no Restaurant open no Vallet parking not even for Handicapped. I been going there for 20 yrs . It used to be busy now you can count the people that are Gambling. We went inside stayed for 20 min and left and headed to the Aquarius everyone had MASK 😷 on and Vallet Parking and every one was friendly.
They where boondocking in the parking lot across from the KOA Last Jan. bet its closed due to covid. Many Indian reservations you cant even drive on unless you live there in Az due to the fact Am..Indians have had higher covid numbers.
