My dad would pull my sister and I waterskiing behind his 21' SKV Daycruiser in the mid 70's in that area of Lake Havasu, good times. Thanks for the memories Russ.
Aloha Russ my grandfather helped build parker dam we use to camp all around that area way back in the 60s I grew up in lake havasu city thank you for all your wonderful videos I enjoy everyone of them much much aloha
Been there a few times on the way to visit my snowbird parents near Quartsite. This has always been one of my favorite areas!! Love, love love this area, so beautiful, takes your breath away!!!
Your intro music is soothing. I usually watch you at night before going to sleep. Most time I fall asleep 3/4s way..sometimes I end up watching old clips and wake up sleepy.
🙋♀️🙏💜 Thank you, it's breath-taking. Used to go there as a kid; the beauty is magnificent. You're continued narrating, filming are much appreciated. ☺️
Thank you so much Russ. It was beautiful. Yes the morning sun rises are gorgeous for taking pictures. My favorite time of the day. Remember your kodak moment, being done on your Gopro 9...I can hear the children now saying, "What on earth is a kodak moment?" Bless their hides, they are so sweet. Yes it is kodak moments indeed. Keep on trucking...Big wave from the Hogarths in Osoyoos BC. Canada. Love you all...
I’ve had my vacation home on the water in Parker for 18 years, since Covid it’s become almost my permanent home. Wake up to the water and quiet every day.
Morning Russ, I'm a couple days behind...Just can't get enough of this area of the desert. So unique, your videos really make it look inviting. Good info on the Off Road Racing at Parker. FYI to all viewers. In just a couple weeks Oct. 22nd-25th is The Bluewater Desert Challenge. This is a race for UTV's, buggy's and trucks. Always a lot of action. I'll be there!
Glad your back.home again Russ. We have so enjoyed watching your video while in LA LockDown. Really love those Dusty Nugget adventures! Thanks for all you do!
Hi Russ, I've been watching your' vids for about a year now since they came into my youtube feed. It's a great resource for planning road trips and you have a knack for finding routes that are "too cool for school! I'm planning on following some of the routes you've featured this year, great content and you have a good sense of editing and storytelling. Keep up the good work!
I’ve put my drone up numerous times in this area and the Bill Williams Wildlife Refuge where I’ve been countless times. To get there it’s a left coming from Havasu once you cross the hwy 95 Bill Williams bridge onto Planet Ranch road which is dirt and somewhat maintained. As an artist I’ve made countless paintings of this area. I don’t live in Lake Havasu anymore but I do miss going down to this area with my friend.

HI Russ. Great video. I have watched it, at least (3) times. I see so many of your videos, is Late Havasu, where the old London Bridge is. Memory fails me sometimes.
I learned to appreciate some of the sites you have introduced us to over the years. I especially like the Bill Williams Recreation Area and that Hualapai Mountain Park. I prefer the smaller parks without the crowds. That’s for sharing those gems with us. They are on my list for when I make it to AZ again (hopefully 2021).
Awesome footage. I have a DJI mavic air 2 and just post videos with music from RUclips. How do you add your voiceover to your drone footage? I’m kinda new at this...😃
🙋♀️Hello Russ! I really love getting out early too. Doesn't seem to be as much traffic. I liked seeing Lake Havasu, & the Dam. (I'm not sure what happened on the chat last night, but my screen went completely white after I messaged Hello to you. I tried to come back in, & it gave me the impression it kicked me out? Sorry I missed your chat.)👍
Wonder how many Canadian Snowbirds are able to store their Rigs around the Parker/Quartzsite area during the summer and fly down this fall/winter season.
Road-grader?! Oh, let's not go down that road again, Russ. The scenery from the Beast while driving was much clearer than that pictured in the previous video. Back to the old camera, or was there an issue with the new Go Pro that you were able to address?
tried a higher res 1440. the problem is the compression youtube uses at 1080P. it can make video look grainy at a higher compression. if you shoot in higher res. they compress different when uploading. its a trial and error right now
@@michaela.chmieloski3196 the camera shoots perfect quality at 1080 this is a youtube issue. out of my control. hope the higher res compensates. this will be the best it gets. supposily youtube is working on better compression codecs
Good evening Russ, Thank you for sharing the video of the Parker dam, all the drone videos are so clear. Could you share what is the maximum height the drone can fly? Can't believe how many men hours went into building this dam
where is the housing that the workers at the dam and powerhouse used to live? I know where it is at Davis used to live there. and most of the houses are gone to make room for campers, Although one of the houses we lived in is still there.
What more can you ask for? Blue water, mountains, cactus, palm trees all in one spot!❤️
Love that!
Glad you decided to film, the aerial shots were absolutely incredible! Thanks Russ
Absolutely beautiful morning colors! The mountains, the water....beautiful!😍 Thank you Russ! Stay safe!🙏♥️☮️
This is landscape you think of when thinking of Arizona. My Grandmother was named Arizona.
Glad you brought the cameras with you Russ can't wait to see the off-roading this winter in the desert
Beautiful water picture. Will be that way January 2021!
Morning is so blissful as you can see

Man, it would be awesome to make traffic disappear like that 22:32 in real life! LoL
Russ: During your 7,000 mile trip how often did you need to add Blue DEF to the Sprinter? Intervals? Thanks.
Yes! Enjoyed it 😁!!
Another masterpiece!
Thanks for this Bonus Video! How is that Go Pro 9 doing?🌸
Russ hardly ever answers questions. I gave up asking a long time ago. :)
Russ, what editing software do you use?

Good evening Russ,
Thank you for sharing the video of the Parker dam, all the drone videos are so clear.
Could you share what is the maximum height the drone can fly?
Can't believe how many men hours went into building this dam
Water below the dam looks as high as the water above it.
Russ, you fail to mention that Parker dam is the deapest dam in the world! Cross the dam and a story board mentions that.
where is the housing that the workers at the dam and powerhouse used to live? I know where it is at Davis used to live there. and most of the houses are gone to make room for campers, Although one of the houses we lived in is still there.
👍👍😊
Running Man Fuel is owned by the Tribe and since they pay no taxes they can undercut the other non tribe business in Parker.
:) Stay safe.......
you cant take the dam tour anymore? LOL
