Hey RVerTV Fans! When Russ tells you that you gotta come and check this area out pay attention! It is a gem in the desert! We've been members at Emerald Cove RV Resort for 15 years. Yes it is a big resort but it never feels like it. Nice little store club house Tiki Bar that serves great food. Come and visit!
I have been going to Parker for about 40 years. I lived there for 3 years and loved it. Many great memories on the river. Tube float and boat races are awesome. I personally love the Parker 425 off-road race. Great video thanks for the stroll down memory lane.
Oh as a cold Canadian, I sure miss the southern states and all they offer. Too old to travel now even if they opened it back up tomorrow, but I can kinda be there vicariously through your videos, so.....keep em coming Russ!👴
I want to thank you for these. To start with I didn't like yours as much as the 'other guys' but then I realized you do a warts/crowds and all version without the drama in a light hearted way that seems about right. I think some folks imagine the desert being empty, it's not.
Blythe, California is not too far away from Parker or Quartzsite, Arizona. The first time I visited Blythe, I was listening to KFI Radio, AM 640 and Lohman & Barcklay were doing funny sketches invoquing "the Patato Blight" as a curse on humanity. I thought "Blight" was the correct spelling for this Desert Town not far from the Colorado River on Interstate-10.
As many times as I have traveled that road never paid attention to the Dunes, we always stay at River Shores Resort, Really enjoying your channel, great content.....
One rock opposite side of river looks like a huge tamarind seed...only because I watched part of that 1974 movie last night. Very scenic views from the drone!
Really like the area, perfect place to camp by the river. If all of us from the northern parts of the country come and stay in that area would there be spots for everyone. So many places to stay.
Your videos are bringing back all my memories of trips from England to friends in Sedona and all our trips over a 10 yrs period all around connecting states .your narrating and filming is first class, I’m hooked, 👍👍
friends and i used to trailer our dirt bikes down there from havasu to ride the dunes in the late 80's early 90's........the law used to hassle us even back then, try to run us off
I started watching after you had an online conversation with Wonderhussy a couple years ago. You have an inviting way of making your videos something I look forward to watching.
At the 14.19 minute mark, I see an interesting 'spikey' grid across the road that seems to be designed to discourage drivers from entering the wrong way. Drive in the wrong way you drive against the spikes. Nasty.
When I was a kid there was a place called Kendra's camp the owner got drunk got a cramp and drowned they changed the name I would like to go back because it was a nice place to camp they changed the name but I have no idea maybe somebody out there could help me kenders can't
The 1st person camera views are breathtaking and stress reducing. Makes me feel like I'm on the trip virtually.
We Love RVerTV - Best TV On RUclips - Thank you Russ.

The Parker 425 Off Road Race is legendary! Met Russ out on Shea Road when he was doing a video of it Jan 2020.
Bravo.
Cross roads is a new development from my good old days. Still so fun to check it out.

Thanks for beautiful ride! Nice to be back to ARIZONA....Thanks for Sharing Russ!
That's a beautiful area. We've stayed at Buckskin Mountain State Park, which is right across the river at 19:06 of the video.
Would love to live by the river on a hidden peaceful little spot.

How is the water quality in LTVA. I have heard it was salty?
Please advise what this "senior pass" is about and how do I apply for one? Thank you
Hello Russ.
At the 14.19 minute mark, I see an interesting 'spikey' grid across the road that seems to be designed to discourage drivers from entering the wrong way. Drive in the wrong way you drive against the spikes. Nasty.
You said you can’t drive RVs across the dam. Can u drive a Class B across the dam?
When I was a kid there was a place called Kendra's camp the owner got drunk got a cramp and drowned they changed the name I would like to go back because it was a nice place to camp they changed the name but I have no idea maybe somebody out there could help me kenders can't
I never see any gas stations do you have any problem getting gas
There is gas stations along the river and in Parker ( about 10 or 15 miles)
All those resorts would be nice if they reduced capacity by 3/4, packed in side by side like sardines, or lab rats, is no way to live.
So is that BLM in Calif? Az is across the river?
Yes, in California but handled by the Lake Havasu BLM office.
