I'd love to travel..I wished I had someone to drive with me..but your channel is a close as it gets..I've rode to Florida and Tennessee and NY and NJ Virginia Beach, and places around Ohio where I'm from..but nothing like the places you've been..love this channel ❤
Hey Russ! I love Ehrenberg! When I was on my dedicated run from Houston to Los Angeles I’d always try and spend the weekend there at the Flying J Truck Stop. Of all the videos I’ve seen, showing that laundromat where you turned around at, I never knew that was Ehrenberg! Geez! Every video I’ve watched of yours in the last coupla days has taken me to the same places I’ve already been to [during my trucking days] and down memory lane! “Thank ya…thank ya very much!” Safe travels! ~Jim~
Min 1:45 Yes - "Laundromat Mall" in Ehrenberg is "grand central station" for a lot of RVers. Very RUclips famous. Thanks for taking the spin through the parking lot.
Love the views from both the land and air. And that cool music sounds like a band of gypsies playing down by the river. Thanks for being such a great tour guide in this part of the country....:-)
Wow when I lived there in 1998 and 1999 there was a flying j , another small gas station and bar. Then 1 more bar up the street . A fire house, a school, and a Wendy's at the flying j. One mobile home park. A few houses that's it... I loved it.
I did not know they grew cotton on the Colorado River. Awesome done shots, another great video glad I have found your channel . Thank you for sharing . Charleston SC
Follow that rd back about 5 miles and you come to a very nice sandbar after a curve in the river called tortillas flats, grew up in the area use to float on tire tubes tied together with family from the bridge to tortillas flats back in the 80's
Thanks Russ - will most likely be heading to Ehrenberg when the cell signal goes south in Qsite. lol Great tour video. You are definitely the tour master for Qsite and the surrounding area.
The RV parks are about $1k per month with water, electricity & sewer. Some older ones might be a little less in price and some fancy ones might be higher. We have done 3 winters (1 month stays) in different AZ locations and the RV sites have run $900 to $1,000 per month. Some charge less on the monthly and then tag on electric use charge so it works out the same. Most have rec rooms with pool tables and ping pong, card tables, some have a swimming pool and some have tennis or pickle ball courts. Pickle ball seems to be everywhere. Some parks also do social events or dinners once a week. We use the RV park as base camp and do day trips exploring the area. Cheers
You should do a little video at Poston where the Japanese internment camp was. I took my mom there coming home from Havasu. Some buildings left standing in the camp.
Now we got to get the 25 mile rule for every 14 days, not liking that, will have to calculate each time you park as to where you will go next. I am loving these videos it will help me when I get started 2019
Unfortunately this area is getting mobbed, trashed out and abused by large groups the past couple years. It's coming under the radar all too often with LE. Lots a homeless and drugs in the area. Especially the first 2-3 miles, so be careful. Please do your part and pick up your trash, be careful with fire and respect this wonderful area. I'd hate to see it shut down or over regulated like nearby areas.
Thank you for sharing, this is the first video I've seen that showed that part of BLM land, until I saw this video I didn't know it was there, thank you. I'll be going full time later this year and it's hard knowing I have to wait but I'm getting more and more information thanks to folks like you, thank you again
my rig was in that group of "rv'ers" near the boat launch. we use it as a staging area before and after the "rtr" it is not blm land, it's state land, no restrictions on how long you can stay. it'sawonderful place to stay.
I stayed along the river to camp and there were many ATV'ers kicking up rock dust all day long. I only spent one night there. It was the weekend so perhaps it's better during the week.
I always thought the view of the green strip along the River from the hill just west of Needles was interesting. Also, at the right time of year, the smell of orange blossoms can just about knock you over in Blythe. I got fuel at that J many times years ago. Always wondered where all those campers were going.
Another informative video. I followed you in Google Earth while watching it---great fun. I got a little nervous when you stopped so close to the river. Cheers.
I have stayed at the Arizona Oasis in Ehrenburg. Great place on the river and at normal prices. I guess I will not take my 45' DP to the Ehrenburg BLM though. With towing a car as well, turning around may be an issue.
I use to fuel there at the flying J back in my auto transporting days.. Never new that was BLM back there.. Thanks again Russ for the great video and the time and money you spent to put these videos together for us to watch. Gives me some new thoughts about what to plan on my way there to the RTR and the show. :)
Nice and excellent video ! Question I have a ford econoline van and I like to know where on the front of the van you connect the camera and also the brand ! Thanks for the advice.
Nice... exit 1 in Arizona. As far as I'm concerned, that's the end of the U.S. Drove truck and was talked into going into California ONCE. That was enough for me!!!
When you put out this video, this place was pristine and a beautiful place to camp. By late 2019 it has become a trash dump, with semi-permanent hangers-on who ignore the 14 day limit and leave their household trash every where. It was the most disappointing thing ever to find this beautiful place ruined by people who are so selfish. I'm not saying your video caused it, but you certainly gave a detailed description of how to find it. Sadly, some of the people who went there don't care that they have ruined it for everyone. 😖😖😖
There's Colorado River (aka Grand*) in Colorado, too. It starts there & is a conglomerate of several large rivers that feed into it. By the time it leaves Grand Junction, Colorado it's massive. *It used to be known as "The Grand River".
I do have one question this is my second winner of and I have noticed because I boondock in a tent people seem to treat me different I don't know why why is this
Appreciate your informative videos,, I've been following you for a year now as I'm headed west this fall.....you live there so it's so common for you to zip down the road to your next comments...I could find things quicker if you could give a city or turn off (green/white print) sign shot that we could read(45 mph + ,camera passing doesn't do it) thanks if you read this
If you get off on Exit 1 in Ehrenberg, drive towards the Flying J truck stop. There's a round about that you'll turn right, after getting off the freeway. Pass the truck stop, a few blocks up and then turn left, past the tire store. He showed a brown sign on the right, with directions to BLM camping on the left. Hope this helps.
Maybe I’m still asleep, I thought I heard that when they had the RTR that they banned nomad camping or something about people defecating along the river and parks and leaving T paper and the whole mess there so Ehrenburg said no more- hoping I’m wrong

You have the voice and mannerisms of Good Story Teller, very enjoyable.
Great. There goes another of my quiet private spots.
Omg I lived there. I loved the purple mountain sunrises every morning 🥰
One of the best channels on U TUBE! Carry a 2' × 2' sheet of thin plywood for launch & landing the drone in dusty conditions.
I Agree ... hahaha Thank You Victor !!
Thank you for an enjoyable video and info on Boondocking !🙂

Yes - "Laundromat Mall" in Ehrenberg is "grand central station" for a lot of RVers. Very RUclips famous. Thanks for taking the spin through the parking lot.
I live in Blythe, CA. I can see the red and green flying j sign from my balcony.
Love the views from both the land and air. And that cool music sounds like a band of gypsies playing down by the river. Thanks for being such a great tour guide in this part of the country....:-)

Wow, cotton on the Colorado River. Who'd a thunk it. I always thought that was a South Eastern crop.
Always learning something with you, thanks Russ.
FYI: AZ is known for the 5 "C's". CLIMATE, CATTLE, COPPER, CITRUS & COTTON.
Russ, I’m really enjoying checking out the roads/BLM in and around Ehrenberg with you . The drone shots are great. Thanks for sharing.
Behind the Flying J truck stop there was a track set up for sand drags. You can't see it from the road. My buddy's used to race there.
Your videos have very useful information for picking camps. Thanks for all you do!

Another great overview of the area. Great job with the drone, so clear and steady. Thanks. 😊👍

I really like the way you do your video. Just the nitty gritty facts. Thank youi.
Thank you was wondering about that and glad you got a shot of yourself in at the end
You should do a little video at Poston where the Japanese internment camp was. I took my mom there coming home from Havasu. Some buildings left standing in the camp.
Thank you Russ! This will be where I go after the RTR. This was very helpful to me...Love your channel.
Great format.
Many bloggers should learn from your format.
Levi is a very interesting guy has a great little town love the buildings and artwork !!
Your getting pretty good on this free camping blm serie's, Russ. Thanks. Great drone footage!
Now we got to get the 25 mile rule for every 14 days, not liking that, will have to calculate each time you park as to where you will go next. I am loving these videos it will help me when I get started 2019
Nice seeing all the places to camp around Quartzite. Happy trails.
Awesome stuff! Love the music. Thanks Russ. 👍
Thanks, we were wondering where that free camping was. I have seen videos about camping there but did not know where it was. Great info.

Watching this wearing your T shirt! Thanks for the great drone shots.
Awesome! Thank you!

Can you give more details about the state land there and the unlimited free use?
Thanks Russ, you sure know how to show people around. Another great video.
I stayed along the river to camp and there were many ATV'ers kicking up rock dust all day long. I only spent one night there. It was the weekend so perhaps it's better during the week.
When I was in Ehrenberg we got gas for .99 cents and in Blythe it was $3-4
Thanks Russ. Didn't know that road, always stayed further east.

Kool can't wait to see for myself. Thanks so very very much for sharing this with me 💙 from Texas 🇨🇱

RverTV at minute 15:08 can you par in the grass before the first lake.
Cool video where in Arizona right now so place called hippie hole right now and where you're showing in this video
I’ve camping along that river since 1994 and all over the west coast.
Not many free place’s left east of the Mississippi 😎
I use to fuel there at the flying J back in my auto transporting days.. Never new that was BLM back there.. Thanks again Russ for the great video and the time and money you spent to put these videos together for us to watch. Gives me some new thoughts about what to plan on my way there to the RTR and the show. :)
Arizona has tons of land still left where people can live free.
Been trying to convince my better half of jumping on the nomad bandwagon!
I try to do the same thing with mine also .
Thanks Russ your videos will help us planour trip when we head west. Michael and Ruth.
Thanks for taking us along. :)
Looks like they finally smoothed the road. Last time I drove levee Rd it was teeth chattering all the way.
Thank you for posting. So informative!
Nice and excellent video ! Question I have a ford econoline van and I like to know where on the front of the van you connect the camera and also the brand !
Thanks for the advice.
Good never told them about the big area on the dead end road thanks Russ send them to the river lol 🇨🇦🇨🇦

Cool van at 13:36
Is there boodocking on the Calif side?

Good Information, Russ. Just love the views.

A lottery number hahahaha😳
You make excellent videos, well done! I always enjoy Listening to you. Thank You! :)
What dash cam camera are you using?
Great shots,info, we're sold ! Thanks !
Fantastic. Thank you.
I need to check it out
I see alot of rvs with there hoods open...is the a reason for that or is it by chance..
they hook solar panels to their batteries
The extra light discourages mice from making nests in your engine bay & gnawing thru your wiring.
FACTOID: The middle of the river is not actually the state line. There are some little bits of AZ on the west side of the river down there.
Great video. Thank you
If you continue on down the road you can go about 40 miles and there are nicer places to camp along the river.
Like your videos, What DRONE Would you recommend ? Thank You
Great video. God bless you.
Nice... exit 1 in Arizona. As far as I'm concerned, that's the end of the U.S. Drove truck and was talked into going into California ONCE. That was enough for me!!!
Awesome video, what brand of Drone do you have, that sure made this video interesting
Thanks again

I was wondering what Colorado River the title was referring to. The other Colorado River that's in Arizona.

Along the river on the AZ side can a 31 ft 5th wheel go down the road and find a place to camp and turn around?
Another great video of the area
I do have one question this is my second winner of and I have noticed because I boondock in a tent people seem to treat me different I don't know why why is this
I SURE APPRECIATE YOUR VIDEOS . THANKS
Not to long ago that mighty river flowed all the way into the Gulf of Baja . not any more.

What brand model drone you using?
Your drone videos are the bomb !~
Hi Russ,
Does the new 79 gas station have RV pumps?
..if it doesn't..they really blew it..
Nice video Russ
