I think it's pretty ridiculous how a guard will hear you break a lock but not footstep running behind them. I've ran past so many guards but once they hear a lock break through a wall, they spot me🙄
I mean that would kind of kill the ability to do the run, guards also can't see you outside the cone of vision even if your right on the edge so yes things like that are done to make it playable lol.
I can hear someone cutting a lock with a gas torch from a very far distance, much further than I can hear footsteps. Gas torches are not quiet by any means
Thanks for the awesome guide, dude. These have all been sooo helpful for a returning player (I played last with a bunker, counterfeit money, CEO office and a nightclub) probably 2-3 years ago. One tip for new/returning players - TGG has 1000's of hours in the game, the videos (even this one) do make it look really easy, but practice, you'll get there. Good luck! The first heist probably took me 10/15 attempts before I completed it. I got very frustrated and angry. I haven't done it within the 15 minutes yet. I got caught out with the guard hearing me cut the fence on the right lockup (I had two white powders there). That was probably the most frustrating one, thought it was the camera that had caught me out. At least you've pointed that out now!
Just wanted to mention, Picking Night as time and the night vision gear as masks will replace rebreather with night vision, which isn't efficient for the run-through and adds importance to your time choice.
Doing CP in night time is a bit tougher since your chances of messing up shots are higher (unless you've done CP in night too many times for it to matter)
Small tip for the ending, near the area you were in it won’t always extract you however there is a patch of large grey rock near there which if you swim all the way down to it should extract you immediately Also any chance of a detailed guide of which guards you can kill to make this easier? Much appreciated
@@hunterpinson807 you can kill more, way more basically everyone east of the main building and few west of it, basically just gotta leave alone like 5 guards and you dont even have to kill jug Edit: 4 two by the pool, one below the main building and one in the courtyard
Ever since your last update video, i've been doing this method for so long and still laugh at people who did not watch the last video when they struggle. Only difference is 2 kills instead of zero when out of the compound. Thanks again for the guide

Guards detect dead bodies, but that doesn’t mean you can’t kill anyone. Here are the ones that can be killed and no one would ever notice: - the guard at the south storage looking to the sea - the guard near the south storage if you kill him at specific spots - the guards at the towers - the personal guard at the bottom of the stair leading up to Rubio’s office - the personal guard on top of the stairs leading up to Rubio’s office
This was the 1st time I used the boat to do my approach. I made it all the way through the heist without killing any one I did not even have my gun out. Thank you so much for the tips.
Superb! I did it at once. It took me like half an hour cause I was following the steps, but it worked like a charm. I'm sure the next time I'll be able to get the elite challenge thanks to you, dude! ✌
By far the best way i have ever seen, i just did this by myself but sadly was a minute over the elite challenge. No killing though and i got 1.3 million out of it, so glad i found you.
Actually when exiting the compound don't wait for the last guard, just run. It doesn't matter if the guard patrolling the gate see's you as long as you click the D-Pad right away and trigger the cutscene before any alarms are set off off. I've done it multiple times and still got elite, as long as no alarms go off it won't count as you getting detected.
they can actually, if they increase the sound sensitivity of the guards. Also TGG waits behind a guy at the end, if they make that character moving, then you will be detected.
Please drop the multiple routes once your in the compound, preferably showing solo and duo pathways. Would also be brilliant if in that video you show what guards can be killed and where some can be killed to not be detected when new guards arrive. Love the videos.

You can kill a ton of people.. and to me the hardest part is making sure you kill them in one shot or hitting them with out shooting.. I’ve always played the heist as if everyone I killed could be seen.. so when this update happened it didn’t change how I play.. but the main way people played this heist was gone but for some reason the way I first learned went under rockstars radar

Small tip at the airstrip at the start (for when 0 kills isn't the elite challenge): if you climb up on the roof with the camera you can take out the guard to the far right and the camera in a couple of seconds. The two guards to the left won't notice anything. Not sure if it is any faster, but you won't have to worry about where either of them are looking on you way out.

Brilliant run, I haven’t attempted not killing anyone until now since they’ve began spotting bodies. But wanted to suggest, instead of running to the very south of the island, @ 8:15 cut to the right and when you hit the water keep going west, it’s a much shorter trip out.
If anyone is wondering for a different easy approach you can also go the other way when you enter the mansion and climb the roof, it will be impossible for anyone to spot you when you are up there. But you will have to kill a guard In front of the stairs but nobody will able to spot him. And this approach might be slightly faster but nothing noticeable
i use this way everytime now and i dont kill any guards...you simply walk up the roof then walk accross the beam to the main building u walk around the corners then u wait for guy with red cone to goto the railing then walk right by him

You now need to re-create your killing every guard on Cayo Perico video, completely undetected. That should be an interesting challenge now that guards detect bodies
@@aaryasharma4940 a friend did that once with me because we were looking for the keycard. We killed everyone and the last guard we killed was the one carrying the keycard. We luckily didn't get detected when the fresh guard spawned, still have no idea how and why.
@@Tx_98 they are 5 guards spawning, three of them are moving. one is jsut moving between the cages. one is moving near maingate to the north wall and could detect a dead body, if you killed this one guard at the north hallway at the wrong spot. Then one guard is moving around the two buildings at the south wall, he can detect a dead body, if you kill these one guard not exactly in the middle of the hallway, btw this is one of the guards they can drop the keycard ^^ But if want just watch my guide, i've explained which guards you should kill on which spot to stay undetected.
I SWEAR this is meant for me because for most of my secondary loot at the airstrip is cash so getting in that shed on the opposite side is a make or break situation especially because mine has coke!! THANK YOU BRODAA🙏✌🏾
ive realised its not much more for coke. it turns out to be like 50k more at most but i could be wrong, last night example was 2 weeds and 2 moneys and it came to 459,000 with 2 cokes and 2 money was around 516,000 even if u got 3 cokes u cant carry in your loot bag
@@BadoosFeed the value of the secondary loot changes as the primary does. example: sinsimito tequila has higher secondary loot value. and panther statue/ ruby has lower secondary loot value. here is also a list of least to greatest: cash weed cocaine paintings gold
I still follow your original guide to great success. The one guard I had issues with walks into the courtyard alone. You have to catch him before he gets to his 2nd spot otherwise the juggernaut will see him. He has to be behind the wall.
I literally just did it perfectly and then when it came to the swimming part the game made me swim for the duration of two rebreathers and didn’t let me apply another one and I drowned respawned at the main dock got away on a boat only for them to put the special item back on land so I couldn’t get it on the boat this game really does my head in sometimes

Massive thanks for his actually worked I was kinda worried at the end because I was swimming for a decent amount of time before the escape cutscene started but I did exactly as you did and it was a success I messed up with the long run tho I parked it a bit too far inland and had to kill a guard to get a boat to head back to the drainage tunnel but it as it relates to the mansion it was flawless! If you ever beach the Longfin, you can steal the jeep that's outside of the main hangar (you'd have to kill that one guard), then take the jeep and ram the Longfin back into the water. It's much better than not parking it inland enough and letting it drift away. My first time trying the TGG method, I got a rainy day and saw the Longfin in the distance. It took like four minutes to swim out to it.
Did I need help with the Cayo Perico Heist? No. Am I even currently playing GTA Online? No. But did I willingly click on and watch this whole video? Abso-fricking-lutely. Can't get enough of TGG.

That explains why I was detected on my last run. I thought it might've been the fact that I played on hard mode for the first time... but weren't guards always able to detect bodies? I was detected already when I was in the basement after killing one of the guards so that his body ended up being in the line of sight of the J-naut's route.
You can kill the juggernaut if you want to, the easiest way to do that would be just running into his back to knock him down, and then use your silenced shotgun (preferably) to take him out when he's on the ground.
the guards were highly derpy before and wouldn't have a care in the world for dead bodies to an extent but with the nerfs to the heist and countless AI changes beforehand they made them a lot more easy to be alerted which killed the original route of going in with the Kosatka and exiting through the main dock
Thank god I found this video as I took a break from gta for like 9 months and when I came back recently my original route eas chocked so this route is very helpful but gunna take time to master
Thanks TGG, I even managed to get the heist+ setups (9/11) to do under 1 1/2 hour, with for me personally was very relieving since the setups are really easy to walk through. Only downside is that you are going to take annoyingly much time if not done efficiently
@@arvefan9222 Just the ones that are needed, even the disruption (most likely only Air Support). But here it is getting a bit complicated, because you will need a Sparrow, Opressor Mk2 and therefore an MC, so go into your sparrow everytime you enter your sub, and then go to land. And call in your MK2, so you could take off and land faster
The Cayo perico heist is mostly about luck. Sometimes there is a bug where the guards have infinite range (I think it’s based on how many people you kill, more give it a higher chance of happening) and can see the bodies, I’m pretty sure that is what happens when you exit the basement and the alarm starts blaring. Also if you kill the guards in the same spot as the previous TGG Cayo Perico tutorial then there are no guards that will see the bodies unless the infinite range bug happens. Also to get a full bad the loot percentages are written bellow Gold 73% Coca-cola 50% Paintings 50% Grass 33% Cash 25 % And if you start the heist within 3 days of your previous Cayo Hiest the percentage of your primary loot is 60% for tequila, 15% for ruby necklace, 15% for bearer bonds, and 10% for pink diamond.
No, when you get the main objective a couple of additional guards spawn so if you were not careful they can see the bodies. I've been running the heist in a duo killing off most of the compound guards and the alarm never went off. The only bug I've encountered was that one time 2 guards spawned instead of 1 in front of the grate entrance.
Correction; loot percentages are actually Gold: 66.67% (2/3) Grass: 37.5% (3/8) Rest of the percentages are correct. Also I think being detected after primary is due to either respawned guards or the juggernaut seeing the dead bodies.
@@Trollllium yes correct. the reason why you get detected after looting the primary target shortly, is because new guards have spawned and one of the guards you have killed must have possibly been in one of the newly spawned guards' vision
when i do the heist solo i usually either kill one or no guards at all i just kill the one up the stairs to the basement elevator but u can sneak around him which i’ve done after the update where you can’t kill many people i’ve done this
@1:55 whenever I try to loot this shack, I always get detected by the guard just outside while looting. I follow the advice of making sure the guard on the right is far so that he won't hear the lock, but I still get detected by the guy patrolling on the left anyway. I tried killing him, but he got spotted by the time I got to the drainage tunnel. I also tried to stop looting whenever he's near to see if that's the reason, but he still sees me through the wall. Any tips?
Tried this this weekend. After some glitch ones with the pallet on the forklift and having to work on my fingerprint cloner technique, it worked like a charm. The second time I didn’t even have to use the forklift due to the better loot spawns, although I did get the tequila bottle. Even got my first Elite Challenge!
@@STD_Charity In the warehouse next to the airstrip, you can use the forklift to pick up a crate and then park in front of where the loot is found, allowing you to climb up to the second level where there’s more loot.
My exact approach during the last year. I just kill the guard beside the bike outside the compound and use the bike to jump off the cliff into the water (walking is too slow!). Thank you!

This was so much easier lol I'd always get caught after the reinforcements arrived because of a dead guard somewhere and it was driving me crazy. Now? No dead guards = no get caught
You can melee the guy at the top of the stairs b4 the office, the guy in front of the hangar, and the guy in by the bike, makes it much faster, and their bodies never get seen.
@@Trollllium no that's the guy near Rubio's helicopter, killing the guard just outside the compound doesn't detect anyone (or else that's what I've experienced at least)
In the end - you don't have to run to the water. If you wish, you can also take the car, that is parked on the right from the main gate. It is a little bit run towards it, so I haven't really measured, if it is faster to complete the heist running straight to water or first running to car and then driving to water. But I would prefer the car. Also - there are couple of guards that are 100% safe to kill, so - I think you don't have to apply that strict rules to yourself when playing.

I'd someday love to see a guide for duos. I tend to run this with my partner, and we typically have been able to fill up on gold while in the compound, so I'm curious if there are any ways to make that work still.
You need to kill the Jug, get secondaries, then have one person wait by main exit while the other gets primary target. This stops the second wave of guards spawning in. Exit the island however you prefer.
@@SaiyaSounds what he wrote isn't correct, it just avoid that the guard at the maingate will spawn, but the other four new guards will spawn, cuz he can't block all five guard spawn spots at the same time. If you are struggle as a duo, then just watch my kill any guard guide, and you should be fine.
i figured this out a few days ago, the gaurd with red cone walks around corner u need to let him walk to the railing then just walk by him i also learned how to job warp even right into my kosatka makes cayo and other setups so much faster !

There is a quick way to finish out the heist. What I do is I leave the compound and immediately go right. If you go to that side, there is an unattended jeep with a wall as cover. It's always there and it's efficient.
Here’s a quick tip as you exited the compound quickly turn right & you can steal a jeep before the camera turns & drive it off to the ocean much faster than on foot course be careful for the bushes
I’ve been playing Cayo the same way since it first came out, just knock out the main guards outside Rubios office and I haven’t died or alerted the guards once since the “buff”
Tip: after you grab the target and go up the elevator you can jump of the balcony where you had to wait for the guard to walk by then just wait till the guard down below crosses and jump off then just be careful and run out
yeah been doing this type of heist for a couple of months now, but you can still kill a few people if you have a frined, actually all of them, first you have to take care of the moving guards, especially the juggernaut since he has a long way and can detect a lot of bodies, don´t try to headshot him, just ran him over and keep shooting him until he´s dead, and then just make sure to kill the moving guards, you don´t have to kill all of them if they are not going on the path where dead bodies are

One thing that not makes sense is if body have been spotted, they immediately rush your position and they know exactly where you are.

Even if the alarm goes on if you spam that right dpad it will just put you in the cut scene I've got caught a lot but it just puts me in the cut scene
Yeah but it doesn't matter much, I've messed around quite a lot in my runs and still got sub 12 on the finales

I do that too, then I also kill the guard wathcing the hangar because it's a bit faster and probably the easiest way to do the heist

Cayo period the hardest heist for me. I keeping getting caught by guards or keep dying. I can't do it as easy as this. Its so aggravating

@@aaryasharma4940 a friend did that once with me because we were looking for the keycard. We killed everyone and the last guard we killed was the one carrying the keycard. We luckily didn't get detected when the fresh guard spawned, still have no idea how and why.

@@Tx_98 they are 5 guards spawning, three of them are moving. one is jsut moving between the cages. one is moving near maingate to the north wall and could detect a dead body, if you killed this one guard at the north hallway at the wrong spot. Then one guard is moving around the two buildings at the south wall, he can detect a dead body, if you kill these one guard not exactly in the middle of the hallway, btw this is one of the guards they can drop the keycard ^^ But if want just watch my guide, i've explained which guards you should kill on which spot to stay undetected.
I SWEAR this is meant for me because for most of my secondary loot at the airstrip is cash so getting in that shed on the opposite side is a make or break situation especially because mine has coke!! THANK YOU BRODAA🙏✌🏾
ive realised its not much more for coke. it turns out to be like 50k more at most but i could be wrong, last night example was 2 weeds and 2 moneys and it came to 459,000 with 2 cokes and 2 money was around 516,000 even if u got 3 cokes u cant carry in your loot bag
@@BadoosFeed the value of the secondary loot changes as the primary does. example: sinsimito tequila has higher secondary loot value. and panther statue/ ruby has lower secondary loot value.

I still follow your original guide to great success. The one guard I had issues with walks into the courtyard alone. You have to catch him before he gets to his 2nd spot otherwise the juggernaut will see him. He has to be behind the wall.

I spent 5 hours on the finale, and only after watching this NO-KILL guide, I was able to do it
I literally just did it perfectly and then when it came to the swimming part the game made me swim for the duration of two rebreathers and didn’t let me apply another one and I drowned respawned at the main dock got away on a boat only for them to put the special item back on land so I couldn’t get it on the boat this game really does my head in sometimes

That happened to me once. It's so annoying so I just play duo with kosatka. It's one thing to manage whatever trouble the heist throws at you, but losing because of bugs is too annoying.

Massive thanks for his actually worked I was kinda worried at the end because I was swimming for a decent amount of time before the escape cutscene started but I did exactly as you did and it was a success I messed up with the long run tho I parked it a bit too far inland and had to kill a guard to get a boat to head back to the drainage tunnel but it as it relates to the mansion it was flawless! If you ever beach the Longfin, you can steal the jeep that's outside of the main hangar (you'd have to kill that one guard), then take the jeep and ram the Longfin back into the water. It's much better than not parking it inland enough and letting it drift away. My first time trying the TGG method, I got a rainy day and saw the Longfin in the distance. It took like four minutes to swim out to it.

That explains why I was detected on my last run. I thought it might've been the fact that I played on hard mode for the first time... but weren't guards always able to detect bodies? I was detected already when I was in the basement after killing one of the guards so that his body ended up being in the line of sight of the J-naut's route.
You can kill the juggernaut if you want to, the easiest way to do that would be just running into his back to knock him down, and then use your silenced shotgun (preferably) to take him out when he's on the ground.
the guards were highly derpy before and wouldn't have a care in the world for dead bodies to an extent but with the nerfs to the heist and countless AI changes beforehand they made them a lot more easy to be alerted which killed the original route of going in with the Kosatka and exiting through the main dock

Thanks TGG, I even managed to get the heist+ setups (9/11) to do under 1 1/2 hour, with for me personally was very relieving since the setups are really easy to walk through. Only downside is that you are going to take annoyingly much time if not done efficiently

@@arvefan9222 Just the ones that are needed, even the disruption (most likely only Air Support). But here it is getting a bit complicated, because you will need a Sparrow, Opressor Mk2 and therefore an MC, so go into your sparrow everytime you enter your sub, and then go to land. And call in your MK2, so you could take off and land faster
The Cayo perico heist is mostly about luck. Sometimes there is a bug where the guards have infinite range (I think it’s based on how many people you kill, more give it a higher chance of happening) and can see the bodies, I’m pretty sure that is what happens when you exit the basement and the alarm starts blaring. Also if you kill the guards in the same spot as the previous TGG Cayo Perico tutorial then there are no guards that will see the bodies unless the infinite range bug happens. Also to get a full bad the loot percentages are written bellow
Gold 73%
Coca-cola 50%
Paintings 50%
Grass 33%
Cash 25 %
And if you start the heist within 3 days of your previous Cayo Hiest the percentage of your primary loot is 60% for tequila, 15% for ruby necklace, 15% for bearer bonds, and 10% for pink diamond.
No, when you get the main objective a couple of additional guards spawn so if you were not careful they can see the bodies. I've been running the heist in a duo killing off most of the compound guards and the alarm never went off. The only bug I've encountered was that one time 2 guards spawned instead of 1 in front of the grate entrance.
Correction; loot percentages are actually
Gold: 66.67% (2/3)
Grass: 37.5% (3/8)
Rest of the percentages are correct. Also I think being detected after primary is due to either respawned guards or the juggernaut seeing the dead bodies.
@@Trollllium yes correct. the reason why you get detected after looting the primary target shortly, is because new guards have spawned and one of the guards you have killed must have possibly been in one of the newly spawned guards' vision

when i do the heist solo i usually either kill one or no guards at all i just kill the one up the stairs to the basement elevator but u can sneak around him which i’ve done after the update where you can’t kill many people i’ve done this

@1:55 whenever I try to loot this shack, I always get detected by the guard just outside while looting. I follow the advice of making sure the guard on the right is far so that he won't hear the lock, but I still get detected by the guy patrolling on the left anyway.
I tried killing him, but he got spotted by the time I got to the drainage tunnel. I also tried to stop looting whenever he's near to see if that's the reason, but he still sees me through the wall. Any tips?

Tried this this weekend. After some glitch ones with the pallet on the forklift and having to work on my fingerprint cloner technique, it worked like a charm. The second time I didn’t even have to use the forklift due to the better loot spawns, although I did get the tequila bottle. Even got my first Elite Challenge!
What was the fork lift for?, he didn’t know even show it
@@STD_Charity In the warehouse next to the airstrip, you can use the forklift to pick up a crate and then park in front of where the loot is found, allowing you to climb up to the second level where there’s more loot.

My exact approach during the last year. I just kill the guard beside the bike outside the compound and use the bike to jump off the cliff into the water (walking is too slow!). Thank you!

This was so much easier lol I'd always get caught after the reinforcements arrived because of a dead guard somewhere and it was driving me crazy. Now? No dead guards = no get caught

You can melee the guy at the top of the stairs b4 the office, the guy in front of the hangar, and the guy in by the bike, makes it much faster, and their bodies never get seen.
The guy beside the bike gets detected by a guard patrolling in a car going around that area. But it doesn't matter too much because it's at the end.
@@Trollllium no that's the guy near Rubio's helicopter, killing the guard just outside the compound doesn't detect anyone (or else that's what I've experienced at least)
In the end - you don't have to run to the water. If you wish, you can also take the car, that is parked on the right from the main gate. It is a little bit run towards it, so I haven't really measured, if it is faster to complete the heist running straight to water or first running to car and then driving to water. But I would prefer the car. Also - there are couple of guards that are 100% safe to kill, so - I think you don't have to apply that strict rules to yourself when playing.

I'd someday love to see a guide for duos. I tend to run this with my partner, and we typically have been able to fill up on gold while in the compound, so I'm curious if there are any ways to make that work still.
You need to kill the Jug, get secondaries, then have one person wait by main exit while the other gets primary target. This stops the second wave of guards spawning in. Exit the island however you prefer.

@@SaiyaSounds what he wrote isn't correct, it just avoid that the guard at the maingate will spawn, but the other four new guards will spawn, cuz he can't block all five guard spawn spots at the same time. If you are struggle as a duo, then just watch my kill any guard guide, and you should be fine.

i figured this out a few days ago, the gaurd with red cone walks around corner u need to let him walk to the railing then just walk by him i also learned how to job warp even right into my kosatka makes cayo and other setups so much faster !

Your last video on this sorted me out. Not all heroes wear cakes my friend.
There is a quick way to finish out the heist. What I do is I leave the compound and immediately go right. If you go to that side, there is an unattended jeep with a wall as cover. It's always there and it's efficient.

Here’s a quick tip as you exited the compound quickly turn right & you can steal a jeep before the camera turns & drive it off to the ocean much faster than on foot course be careful for the bushes

I’ve been playing Cayo the same way since it first came out, just knock out the main guards outside Rubios office and I haven’t died or alerted the guards once since the “buff”
Tip: after you grab the target and go up the elevator you can jump of the balcony where you had to wait for the guard to walk by then just wait till the guard down below crosses and jump off then just be careful and run out
yeah been doing this type of heist for a couple of months now, but you can still kill a few people if you have a frined, actually all of them, first you have to take care of the moving guards, especially the juggernaut since he has a long way and can detect a lot of bodies, don´t try to headshot him, just ran him over and keep shooting him until he´s dead, and then just make sure to kill the moving guards, you don´t have to kill all of them if they are not going on the path where dead bodies are
