You may think the flamethrower and grenade were a bit much, but frankly... for an American conspiracy theorist, I was surprised at how _lightly_ armed John ended up being.

yeah this guy was packing so lightly. here in Texas I would at least 10 AK-47, 5 hotguns Break-action, two flamethrowers, 2 emps, 10 grenade rounds, a rocket launcher, to highly trained K9 units, 10 A-M20. an Barrett M90 Bolt-action sniper rifle with attachments. a nuclear bunker and at 3.5 billion dollars of ammo for everything.

The fucking president of the United States calling some nobody night guard is unironically one of the best things that I've seen in a FNAF fangame.
"Hey man, I heard what your friend was saying about stuffing ballots and all that on account that I hear everything through The Patriot Act and all. But I assure you, I do not stuff ballots and that man is a liar. Okay? We cool? Alright, now get back to work you goofball and don't say things like that about me ever again please."
That's totally how that would go.

From what I could tell, the game wasn't meant to be overtly political. It was just meant to happen in a dystopian setting, where a third political party in America (one that's not either left or right) took over the rule. The game's ridiculous phone calls of nights 2 and 5 were only meant to add to that setting, for world building... but it ended up being silly yet iconic.
Folks even assumed Grizzly was the president, what with how he had a suit and all. But as it turns out, Grizzly is actually a pianist. Also, since this happens in the future, Grizzly is apparently self aware. That's one of the things that wasn't very well explained as well: that Grizzly was an extremely possessive character, possessive of John himself. It's uh, it's still a bit weird even with that context tho, ngl.
Let's see, was there something else? Oh yeah, I think John killed someone. Either some random dude to take his stuff, or his girlfriend. It's a bit hard to tell as well.
But... looking at Grizzly's VR... wow. The ideas for story telling are pretty good, and these little facts are a lot more evident! And the new story... wow. It's more self contained, actually kinda horrifying when you realize John created an emotional and even physical abuser, and the ending is nothing short of glorious!
I knew them damn Libertarians couldn't be trusted.

@@akramirez actually, it seems to be more on the communist side. At least according to the president saying that "in his society, we share things". Jonathan also says that it's a "socialist" regime, but given how he sounded more like an angry and disgruntled republican, I didn't pay much mind to his opinion.

Judging how Grizzly's 2 has us in a facility-lookin' area with new threats makes me think that it'll tie into (or be a remake of) Devious Minds, the game where it all started.

They were a kid barely in puberty when they made it so I give them some slack
I really love the cutscenes that Grizzly's VR had to offer, ESPECIALLY the cutscenes that occur for both Night 3 and 4.
I'm not going to spoil anything, but let's just say that it gets fucking wild in both terms of FNAF VHS and fangame content.

The VHS cutscenes were animated and developed by Spectre, a rather well-known artist for his other FNAF VHS works. He delivered very well this time around!

"im not going to tell you the rest because i think its a game you should play" man, as a disabled person watching videos because im not ABLE to play these games, this ideal is starting to really suck. Put a skippable spoiler section, or mark the video as spoiler light or whatever.

Fun fact about grizzly's VR. So you know how the hand models have the strap looking things by the wrists? That's because the models are the steamvr glove models with a different shader. There's no issue in that, since modeling, rigging, and making hand poses work is a pain (I've never done it successfuly myself but I've tried)

Eh as much as it sounds fun and interesting unless the politics are about money and the basic welfare of the people I don't feel too comfortable with politics in a game right now. At least in the US, we're facing a time where it's hard to differentiate politics, people's lives, and people's history being erased, making it harder to feel comfortable with politics. So as much as it sounds cute I don't think it's the right point in time for a political fnaf game.
To summarize: Too political.
