I heard that the pink shiny part of the eclipse was called the diamond ring effect. It's supposed to be the sun shining more in that place because of the crevasses in the moon on the edge of the moon letting more light through that spot. I could be wrong though. Also you can get your FAA Drone License if you take the test and pass. Sorry for the add on. Amazing video Butters! Glad that you got to see your dad and also go to the Flight Safety Center!

My family had a whole set up in our backyard with our chairs just enjoying each other’s company while experiencing something so cool with each other. I love FlightSafety! I just got back from recurrent training at FlightSafety Atlanta. Stumbled upon your video while researching for my new build for Microsoft Flight Simulator. I haven’t built a gaming pc since 2009 😅 Lots of catching up to do. I traveled for both eclipses. Totally worth it! I’m in the New Orleans area. For the first one I drove to Nashville(just north of, in the countryside). And for this eclipse I was on top of the weather because there weren’t many places with clear weather that day. Ended up flying into Ohio and driving to Neil Armstrong’s home town in the middle of nowhere. Ironic right? To watch the eclipse in the hometown of the first human to walk on the moon!

im not going to lie im the same way when it comes to menu music. instantly off and then when it actually plays i think to myself "what are you missing" lol, and "for those who like to ascend" thank you butters i appreciate the holiday shout out lol
So Hannah the problem with cod, if it doesn’t close properly and you boot the game in safe mode it reverts most of your settings then glitches out so it’ll keep doing it until you save your settings by rebooting the game with your settings in safe mode to lock them back in

Regarding the cat yawning when talking about it. Here in Greece we have one version of the "evil eye" which is not evil but I have no idea to what it translates to in English so let's go with that inaccurate name. So according to this "science" when talking about someone behind their back, even in a nice way, one of the things that happen is that person (or cat in this case) yawns for no apparent reason. I am sure this was not helpful, but I thought to give you that bit of useless info regardless. :) Bless you both. I laughed with the flying bit about that's how they do it too. Very clever. Very good solar eclipse footage. Whenever I see such footage (every few years?) it gives me goosebumps and makes it "real" the whole we are flying in space onboard the spaceship Earth. It's good to have experienced this cool event with your father and you are mature enough to realize that. I have only a handful of good memories with my father and definitely I wish I had more. OK the animation at the very end made me laugh for some reason.
This is just a tip or a recommendation, I feel like you should still upload what you want to upload. But I don't know, I feel like gaming has just kinda died out in general... I think it would be really interesting if you showed more what is going on in your day to day life, idk bringing back the old days where you used to make vlogs. And yes I know doing that is really difficult, but yeah it's just a suggestion

Flight sim us shunned by many pilots that feel it is "Justa game" but checkout Pilot Emily who was furloughed for months duing covid and stepped in got hooked and used it to keep up on her piloting skills and managed to get A Captains char from 1st officer ... many pilots that bite the bullet are hooked ...i am ...13k for a private pilots license is a bit steep and more for instrument then commercial ... i LOVE my setup and have flown over 100 hours in 6 months .... give it a shot 😊
