Bruins fan here. Moore was fantastic for us last year. Great PK, good def and generated some offense for a 4th line center. Always brought effort and energy. If he continues what he did with the Bruins on the Leafs you guys got a steal.

A lot of people seem to not understand this Marleau deal. Lack of hockey knowledge or just plain stupid? Maybe both. This is great for the leafs in many ways. It also means we have some good pieces to move to upgrade our defence without leaving a hole up front. JVR is probably gone now and we can argue all day about who you'd rather, JVR or Marleau? The fact is Marleau is a proven veteran who has missed 31 games his entire career. He can still skate and can still score. Babcock loves him and has had success with him. Marleau is also a great leader which was lacking in this team. This opens doors and plain and simple makes the leafs better today and once more moves follow we will be even better. People are stupid and will realize at some point over the next few seasons why this move makes perfect sense. But I guess we all forget that these internet Hockey General Managers know more then Lou and Babcock lol. Apply for their Jobs guys and if you know as much as you claim you should get the job right?!

As a rangers fan who had both boyle and moore as the 4th line center, trust me when i tell you leaf fans, you're much better off with Moore than boyle. Not to to mention he's making almost 1/3rd of what boyle got from NJ (which is luaghable btw)
