- The final trailer for Season 6 of the Dragon prince dropped a little while ago, and man am I hyped for this season! We’ve been waiting a fair while but so far the trailers are promising good stuff. I can’t believe this is the second last season so fingers crossed they deliver, and maybe just actually continue the franchise cause I can’t get tired of these characters. Except Karim. All my homies hate Karim. So here’s me rambling about how excited I am. Enjoy.
I still believe that the Dark Callum we saw is either a nightmare Rayla had, a vision or an illusion of some sorts.
If it’s a nightmare, I think Callum probably had it
it looked like it was in finnegrins ship so it was prob a nightmare of callums! or it was Araavos showing Rayla and Callum. Making him admit to using it.

How did we go from Claudia and Terry dancing together on a lovely boat ride to Claudia being soaked in blood and having a mental breakdown on the beach while missing one of her legs. 😅

@@LordFlames Maybe Terry wanted to get to know her before judging her. She doesn't dislike Rayla for no reason at all. She and the other Moonshadow elves broke into her home with the intention of killing King Harrow and Ezran, a ten year old child.

You right about Rayla culture and parents, that part of the reason why ahe believe leaving Callum to find Viren by herself is a good idea.
I know everyone was mad on Rayla because of it but considering where she raised it actually make sense.
It's Still Not Okay With What She Did.
Her leaving Callum is not where they went wrong. People don’t become perfect after one adventure.
Where they went wrong was having the smart character do nothing! Why would Callum just kick back and do nothing? He’s not one to wallow much.
And then there’s the show treating Callum as if he’s the bad guy for holding a grudge.
They completely fumbled a great plot point.
Rayla have a different perspective about the world thanks to Callum and Ezran. In some point in the next season, Rayla will break these old beliefs that she considered it right to believe in her new beliefs to become the woman she wants to be.
It's an explanation,not an excuse
If she's going to live in Katolis then Rayla is going to have to respect their rules and treat Callum with respect

She need to apologise and promise Callum to respect his emotions more in the future.
Maybe it’s a repetitive hope, but I’m still wishing for that long OVERDUE apology to Callum from Rayla!

I’m kinda hoping Viren lives long enough to redeem his actions as I love that he’s a character who’s driven by power but has convinced himself it’s for the good of humanity, I’m really hopeful he can reconcile with Soren before he dies
Yes!!! Viren has always been a compelling character for me, as he genuinely believes he’s doing what’s best for humanity. And one shock can get him to realize what he was doing, and his redemption/ reconciliation arc would make sense because his core values haven’t changed, his actions have just been reevaluated.
Viren will redeem himself. He'll apologize to Soren and they'll help Claudia

@@Deezbiskuts no, it was never actually shown. Combined with the fact that Viren had previously performed a resurrection spell on Soren (way before the show), a lot of people think Aaravos was bluffing about the time constraint as a way of further manipulating Team Claudia.

Realistically all the sun elf story is for is something about that elf with Karim that the bug bit in season 3. It was shown last season, and I can't think of anything else important for that one. Considering the bite though it definitely is Aaravos in some way, the guy is likely a puppet or something.
Just finished season 6 and WOW! I’m absolutely blown away! I can’t wait to hear your reaction/thoughts! It’s truly the best thing Dragon Prince has ever done imo! The last two seasons were a lil rough but this felt like Dragon Prince again!
Theory: Rayla fighting dark Runaan and then the scene after that is one of those nightmares after she uses dark magic, because both dark magic nightmares we've seen (callum's and viren's) highlight what the caster fears the most. Rayla's fears is probably losing the people she cares about, and seeing them all corrupted by dark magic is a great way of showing it. Not sure why she would use dark magic, but it's a possibility (maybe she did it to save someone or to defeat claudia)
Rayla hates DM. Her using it is charecter assassination. It's like Batman using a gun.

What concerns me, the lack of Zubea after how her story ended last season with that shadow curse and the mystery guy.
I think it's just because they don't want to spoil anything regarding her
Btw, the crystal spire thing we see a glimpse of is undoubtedly the spire that the sword that can kill aarovos is in that also contains the crystals to free Raylas parents

Ngl, I dont really get why a lot of people dont like the Sunfire elves part of seasons 4 and 5. I really like it because it actually shows more of the culture and history of the sunfire elves since in seaspns 1 to 3 mostly shows the elves getting beaten up and in fights well in my opinion at least
In all honesty i just hope this season is more edger, and twisted thats all we ever wanted apparently. Excited for it coming right, around the corner once again.

I think the trailer looks promising. But s4/5 had also much better trailers than the correspondening seasons. I mean check the s4/s5 trailers out. How promising and exciting they were. But you may wonder why I am so negativ? Well it seems that some scenes are only there for the trailers.
An example is in s5 ezran speech to the dragons. In the trailer it implies that Aaravos is getting released soon and now Ezran that has somehow gained the trust of Dragon (why was zubeia not talking she is the dragon queen?) makes a desperate call for help.
But in the show we didn't see anything from that scene. No dragon has transported our heroes after zubeia fell ill. Claudias group has faced only one dragon that may not be even involved in this search. The sunfire plot is completely unaffected by it.
For the season 6 I am preparing myself for the most boring resolution for each scene of the trailer.
Yeah, i think season 5 is where the show hit the nail in its coffin. I'll only watch season 6 when it's convenient for me

Idk how I feel, in general the second arc has felt very lacking despite the cool trailers, I'm half-expecting a similar thing but I am HOPING to the creators I'll be wrong and it'll be banger

I hope Zym will tell Ezra about what Callum did for them at the ship last season, before everything goes to shit. It would be interesting to learn how Ezra will take it. Just like Callum and Rayla, he is against it. But at the same time, Callum didn't have an other choice to safe them. The last time he wasn't really a part of it and stayed neutral as much as possible. Now he is a part of the reason. Will he pull the guilt too himself? Specially when Callum gets taken over? I cant wait for the next season, but hope it will be better than the last few.
I think when we see Aaravos cry it might be in a flash back. Maybe we will get more lore on his imprisonment
I'm definitley excited but I wish I felt as that hyped since the first 3 seasons. Its just a shame the last 2 seasons just basically killed the obsessiveness we all had for the show during the pandemic. I think if it weren't for the tragic end of Rayllum I think the rest of the seasons would of been worth watching despite how bad the writing was.
i am truly looking forword to see season 6 of dragon prince and i am worried about callum and rayla and i am damn happy to see aanya backi hope its more then a cameo and i am not a huge fan of the sun elfs civil war in the series special the way janais brother was intruduced in season 4 out of no where and i hope we are going to see rayla get her parents back

Ever since season 4 the show just hasn't been worth watching for me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. They ruined it
Honestly I think why season 4 didn't meet expectations is because is because the expectations for it may have been to high
@@TylerKemp-o2yYa that definitely would have played a part the negative feedback from fans, but it was also just poor overall, plot, storyboarding, character writing, all of it. I remember watching the first episode and thinking why the hell did he/she say say/do this. It felt like I was watching a show for toddlers based off how dumb some of the character interactions were. It was defiantly the worst season in my opinion for many different reasons like that.
