yeah I agree, at the time I was focusing on getting the bars in the picture, but wish it was pointed farther up looking back on it. hard to get it lined up correctly without seeing the picture but I’m too lazy to connect my phone to check, nowadays I keep it farther up to get more sky in the video
What a cool area to ride. Ruts are interesting sometimes. You can be zoomin along, see a rut on your left, move to the right, theres another one, now your riding on a super narrow area. I did that going down a hill about 50mph, ruts were deep and it was awhile before i had any chance of swerving to get out of it. Fun stuff but always a learning experience.
I hope you know how lucky you are to have trails like that near you. Where i live all the trails i got are woods trails with rocks in beded into the trail everywhere. There so damn hard to ride one false move and you'll slip on a rock and eat shit. Im very jealous of you lol but also happy for you! So keep on riding bro!
Fred Potter thanks! If it makes you feel any better I’ve only been here once, it’s 2.5 hours away and I don’t know many people who like to ride trails with me. I usually ride with my Dad and he prefers the desert, doesn’t want to get hurt, so that’s where I go.
I wish this wasn’t over 3 hours from my house. In Southern California there’s a lot of cool places to go in the mountains and desert but it’s a far trek from the city. I’ve only been here once :(
I notice there is no wind noise is this because of the hero 4 mic quality? Cuz my hero 3 has so much wind noise and I was wondering if the 4 had that but it looks not.
they are correct, mx bikes are definitely not great for offroad use as the light flywheel and short ratio transmission makes the bike want to be at full throttle the whole time, not good for maintaining the same speed or tlugging through technical stuff. If your on a budget and you find a deal on a mx bike you can make it work, but my bike just blew up after 4 years of great riding. il definitely be looking to sell and get a offroad bike, hopefully the yzfx
I have a 2008 Yamaha yz 250f, and after spending $400 on 12 tooth sprocket, heavy flywheel kit, an handguards, It is one of my favorite bikes. It lugs like a tractor and has heaps of torque for a 250. Not to much top end though, because of the low gearing, so top speed is meh.
Go to the Yamaha website and use the dealership locator. Cost new will be around 8700 for the 2017 or you could look for a 2016 on sale. I'd check craigslist also in case there's any great deals
+Dmitriy Kozhevnikov (2InvestGroup) its definitely not ideal, weight-wise and transmission/engine-wise. I got really comfortable riding the bike in technical desert conditions first which made trails easier for me. I haven't put mine on but a flywheel weight would help if stalling is the problem. But with the weight problem you just gotta ride a lot or workout
i have a 2003 yz450f with 4 gears.. first gear is really tall but still i haven't got any problems in trails. All stock, no flywheel weight and still great trail bike, has lots of low-end power.
Pim Prijs yeah so was I at that age, I've even got on an 85cc recently and was surprised how much power those little engines put out, I moved to the yz125 when I was 16 tho that was my favorite bike
You're riding in Paradise...

I'm only 12 but I love to ride, I have a Suzuki 125l and love to ride trails especially, those trails look like a blast!

@@JacobNorthrup121 Try a chest mount.... you mount the gopro upside down, works really well, captures the trail, arms, handlebars
your exhaust sounds great makes me wanna get out my hero 4 and start filming again 👍🏽
Those trails look awesome, defiantly gotta ride out there sometime!
very good high quality sound I am very surprised there was no like lagging in it it was all clear pixels very nice camera keep up the good work!

Wow this is a cool video keep it up
Cool vids bro, keep them up
Thanks, I will
I wish the OFTR had trails like this, all we get to ride is single track.
I wish this wasn’t over 3 hours from my house. In Southern California there’s a lot of cool places to go in the mountains and desert but it’s a far trek from the city. I’ve only been here once :(
That f at the end of ur bikes name, means the world to me...........4STROKEFORLIFE
Great video!! Did you do anything with the audio or did you just run the speaker built into go pro?
I notice there is no wind noise is this because of the hero 4 mic quality? Cuz my hero 3 has so much wind noise and I was wondering if the 4 had that but it looks not.
Using the waterproof back instead of the open back helps a lot with wind noise also,
Sick vid
You are amazing love from india
Do you use any software to stabilize the video or is it just that good of quality? I just got a hero 3+ and it seems shaky. Thanks
I didn't stabilize this video. It just depends on how where you mount it and for me mounting it on my helmet isn't shaky.
Ok thanks
mount it on the mouth of the helmet, really steady videos and its at a good angle
How did you make your video less shaky?
Paradise
cool thx and nice vids!
+Seth games yeah thanks
Nice video what type of bike u riding
+jones outdoors yz450f

+Jacob Northrup is it stock ? People say enduro is better for trails... I'm on the market for yz as well

Nice vid
You should get a GoPro chest harness so it gets the handlebars in frame and also gets a forward shot they are only like 30 bucks
Pursue Something New That makes the video a bjt more shakey
Hey, are you using a chin mount and what settings did you use, nice vid btw.
+Kingsxjt22 Yes it is a chin mount and the settings are Hero 4 HD 1080p 60fps
(in the description btw)
+Jacob Northrup Oh, thanks. I didn't even look there :)
Put it on the ride of your helmet for better view
Personally I don't like having the helmet in the shot.
i go their all the time..we should meet up. have you been to the creek
+ryan ryan nope, I'm down in san diego, only been here once

where would I be able to buy a yz450F? and how much would it cost
Go to the Yamaha website and use the dealership locator. Cost new will be around 8700 for the 2017 or you could look for a 2016 on sale. I'd check craigslist also in case there's any great deals
Is dirt bike same as a bike or you need practice driving with dirtbike?
If you can rides bike you can learn to ride a dirtbike but it takes practice
Dude! That was so sick!!! Is that the new Yamaha XTZ?
No I have a yz450f which definitely isn't the best bike for trail but it still works pretty well. Wish I had a 450fx
Don't know how you do it but I am straggling on my 450F on the trails...:/

what kind of bike?
+Seth games yz450f
I found a 85cc dirtbike already intimidating
Pim Prijs yeah bro I started with that too, but you just need time to get used to it then I made the jump to 125cc two stroke and then the 450
Jacob Northrup yeah im 15 now and i think 85cc is pretty quick
Pim Prijs yeah so was I at that age, I've even got on an 85cc recently and was surprised how much power those little engines put out, I moved to the yz125 when I was 16 tho that was my favorite bike
Jacob Northrup ok cool
