Aspect should be charge bolts increased 15- 25% (x) damage and have 40-70% to pierce. Lam Esen should change into wand and flame scar change into staff.
i like to think i have a Meta sorcerer, i have Every single bit of damage reduction available on in the skill tree, all max resistance to all elements, 9.7k armor all hp gems on with doombringer that has yellow masterwork on hp and i am left with 28k hp.. i just tried solo a tier 8 infernal hordes and got SLAPPED in less than a minute with my ice armor doing OVERTIME! i'm NOT happy about this
@@KelfkaGaming the damage on CL is perfect rn if you ask me i am more than happy with it but our survivability is Shocking to see as i have found out a few times now testing the hard content without using that crown as i know it will be nerfed i wanted to make a build with shako and i like to think i have done well but the hard nerfs from flame that was not a problem in s3 it wasn't Op but the cooldown being removed like it has and cdr from focus and paragon being nerfed not to mention ice armor it's like wtf are they even doing to the class i could list a lot more but i really can't, i'd be here all night😂
The staff should not have a chance to happen, it should just happen and give a small damage increase of like 10x-20x. It should not be on cast it should just be your charged bolts in general as well. Charged bolt enchantment chance needs to be a little higher and the staffs effect should apply to it.
Here is a bug I just found. If you have shaco, you can equip it and put on an enchantment. You can take it off and still keep the enchantments. If you change 2 pieces of gear, the enchantments will remove themselves. You can only remove shaco for them to stay. Hope that makes sense.
But... you're not losing 40% damage against the fist mob hit, only the hits after the first arn't you? So you're doing full damage on the boss. The aspect is fine, its the sorc it's self thats utter garbage.
@@KelfkaGaming The image of the tooltip you display in the video at around 2 minutes clearly says "after the first" - so unless its bugged then the damage is full on the first hit (so full damage to single targets). In theory its not really any different to a lot of other AOE or "splash damage" type effects that are generally less than the original hits damage. It may well be bugged of course but I've not seen anyone else claiming it to be. I think the real focus should be on improving the base damage of all the sorc skills, and I'm in full agreement with the idea of all classes being able to wield 3 weapons; theres no justifiable reason not allow it since Rogues already can.
To be honest: Charge bolts are not a priority build to be fixed for me as a Sorc. 1.Frozen orb 2.Chain lightning 3.Meteor 4.Ball lightning 5.Ice Shards 6. Fire ball 29. Charge bolt
The devs don't even play Diablo 4 for real, office full of IT dudes who knows nothing about fun. Each class have many fun abilities, yet Blizzard is making them mostly useless and the build did end up coming out are also buggy. I think the devs heard us, but they just too stupid to get thing done.
Thanks for this video! I have been working with a charged bolt sorc (staff of lam at 20) and can not kill a pit boss above 60! The DPS is so low.

I really love the new hydra tempers and I have workshopped a DECENT build...but man, the damage just isnt there. I want to play it sooooo bad.

Yeah, that’s crazy but I’d be OK with it if we had some ridiculous damage but our damage is where it needs to be squishy. We are!

Losing 40% after 1st hit is still way too much, IMO. Not sure about other jobs, but for Sorc it's a HUGE damage difference. We're already struggling
