The one thing I don’t like is how they made his dash a double jump and yiu can’t get the benefit of fast primary switch without the double jump control. Having to double jump adds an extra input and since overwatch is a heavily fast paced game, that extra input can and will be the difference between life and death.
@@Gobbygoblin thats not the concern. Discussion is about the difference between having a movement ability thats not required to be used in the air and one that is. Sure its really not that big of a deal in the end having to input 'jump' twice to use it, but its just more convenient having a dash that can be used with a single input and also on the ground too. Its marginally more convenient.
I’ve mained lifeweaver in comp for 24 straight hours now and gone from silver 2 to bronze 5 Proof that ow2 support role is a luck based game in terms of matchmaking. My own gameplay has only gotten better. I only use life grip to save teammates from ults and environment, but it doesn’t matter if they are completely incapable of killing anyone. I have anti dream luck. I use platform as an escape or as high ground for myself almost exclusively because if I try to pull up a hit scan all they do is walk right off.
i love those vod reviews but i think it'd be nice if you also mentioned things the player did well :D for example when that lifeweaver used platform to get him and his teammate out of zarya grav, that was quite huge
He never does that, get used to it. It's really annoying. He uses his own clips to show how to do things correctly and then shits on all the submissions.
He's fun I've been practicing a lot with him an got 21k healing in game. Hear is the easy way to play him. You stay in the far back an heal like ana an zen bam there ya go
Trying out the new control mode, and honestly having the dash on a double jump command feels really bad. It means you only have that one half-second later to activate it when you really need to dip out and save yourself. Also, sometimes it just doesn't work depending on where you jump to? I'm not sure if I should switch back to the old control mode or stick with it, because the weapon swapping DOES feel better in the new way...
@@redoofstro it's bad. especially because it requires 3 inputs to do a directional dash. additionally, people already have muscle memory of him before... so the change is worse
This is my honest idea of how to rework Lifeweaver. He's really powerfull and useful, the problem is that he's neutral game feels useless. Would be cool if someone that he hurt dies to drop the flower he used to when he was dead. That way he just prioritize dealing damage to heal and chargin ult which is he's super heal. Other than that i think he's a really tactic hero
Lifeweaver's lore and character is all about avoiding conflict and only using violence when there's literally no other option. This would feel so wrong for his character
I get where you're coming from, but this is against the point and spirit of the character - what you're basically saying is "this character wasn't made for me, but it'd be cool if it was made for me, and here's how they could make it for me"
1) getting a kill should be more than enough incentive to use the thorns, especially now that they got buffed; 2) it’s not really an interesting perk to have as it is basically just a win more feature; 3) it doesn’t help his neutral at all, because as soon as you get a kill you leave neutral lol
First day Lifeweaver was in ranked and the team whose Lifeweaver didn't switch early was the team that lost. Going to take a while for the community to learn how to use him well. This should be required viewing before selecting him!
Ok ok if I have 15k healing 25 assist in comp but only 1k in dps as Lifeweaver am I making the team loose because I’m not doing as much dmg as my dps in comp
As a non-comp player that sounds pretty good. If your team won then that seems like a decent balance, it'd be better to see what a comp player says though
I agree with Remii, it's the nice middle ground. It's like balancing on a knife, sometimes the 35-40 spam is better, other times it's good to give them a full pump to keep them off 1 health, depends on the situation
There should be an option with these new Lifeweaver settings to still have your Dash on LShift. I didn’t mind scroll wheel down for Petal Platform with Dash on shift. Now if you want to use the new shooting style, you are forced to have Dash on jump. Not a huge complaint but I don’t know why it’s not customizable.
While Dva into Zarya is generally not a great matchup, having Lifeweaver paired with Lucio while having that Dva is even more questionable especially in Masters.
There is another shadow nerf to Lifeweaver if you use the new controls. If you use the new controls you can no longer bunnyhop with dash because you have to double jump and bunnyhops need to be done on flat ground.
@@flounderflounder6833 I mean I'm using the manual controls still cause I personally like them better. Just sucks that the new controls does that since in the new controls make dash bound to jump
I wish they had made it so if you hold down the jump button after jumping that you activate a glide like Mercy, with an animation where the petal on his back spins and acts like an umbrella, softening his fall speed, then maybe make Dash be on a crouch double click Double tap and hold jump to glide Double tap crouch to dash Then all the other new controls they’re introducing Idk, could’ve been a cool way to do it, might also lead to so cool lifegrips Edit: also maybe make it so you have to hold the petal platforms button down and fill a little circle to destroy it, but if you place it and then tap it after somebody steps on it and it starts going up, you stop the platform mid ascension, allowing for some shorter elevators, then eventually they could introduce new animations to it, so the platform originally isn’t bloomed, it’s closed up but still flat to step on, then when you step on it, it starts going up and “blooming”, unfurling, as it does, that makes it so it gives a tiny bit more cover until it’s full flat at full height, not a lot more, but it’ll reliably cover the bottom half of shortish characters as it goes up, characters like tracer and Torb would probably be able to crouch under it, but they can’t shoot through it, or shouldn’t at least Also allow junkerqueen to cancel her ult like a rein pin, I’ve been wanting this change for the longesttttttt, just do this Quality of Life thing before changing anything else about her
I feel like for uncoordinated play kiriko just does more than lifeweaver. Better dmg kill pressure healing ult movement survivability and suzu feels more versatile than life grip as you can keep someone in the fight and cleanse.
But you can't get them out of a trash position with kiriko. She also doesn't counter ults well - lifeweaver counters Tons of ults. Kiriko can't heal through shields, weaver can heal over them (ive found it very useful for again... out of position teammates), Weaver healing travel time is damn near instant AND goes through walls if you release it before they go out of LoS, kiriko heals will hit whatever terrain are there and WILL miss if an ally uses a dash or something like moira fade. There's pros and cons. Happens.
@@skylerfreeman1173 yes, there's pros and cons, but anyone can make arguments like this about any weak hero. Like if Lucio were currently in C tier, and other supports are way better atm, someone could still be a Lucio apologist and say "yeah but no one does the consistent reliable speed boosts like Lucio does, plus he's great on maps like Ilios well, plus he heals the whole team at the same time if they're around him, the character has pros and cons, imagine that" About "Kiriko doesn't counter ults well" - you are just full of it here - I'm a Kiriko main and the majority of ults are counterable. You can throw a Suzu down right before Earthshatter hits, and you and your nearby allies are instantly cleansed of it (or early enough and block it altogether). You can suzu with good timing right before Junkrat's tire detonates. You can suzu to buy a moment to reposition/counter ults like Pharah, Torbjorn, Soldier or Hanzo. You can cleanse Mei and Orisa's slow/pull for the team to walk right out. You can block all the slam damage from Sigma ult for a gripped ally or two if done well. The list goes on and on and on. Life grip only really counters solo ults (and genji ult by denying his first reset) and only if you're the not the one being solo ulted. Suzu counters/saves multiple allies potentially, including yourself. It's no contest. The only time Lifeweaver is truly good is in coordinated play, where a dive character can be in comms and be extra aggressive, knowing Weaver is there to pull them out when need be - or things like coordinating the platform lift with allies who would greatly benefit from it. In uncoordinated play, he is B- tier at best and D+ at worst.
Absolutely love life weaver after the rework on the controls but I’m so confused why his healing is on a road load when his healing is already very slow.
I was playing him for two rounds and the other support asked me to swap so he could try the character. Two minutes later he swapped cause he didn't like it. Too many people want to play this character as a huge play maker and not as a support.
After first day of Lifeweaver in Comp I have mixed feelings... On one hand, his healing buffs feel pretty decent now, so he does manage to somewhat keep squishies alive. Also obviously had a troll in one of the games (kept life gripping people on full HP that were safely taking space and dealt a total of 300 dmg in almost 15 minutes of a match) but that's bound to happen. The real problem comes when he's played with another somewhat low/targeted healing output support as his combo. It's very low healing for the team as a whole, especially for the tank since they lose a lot of HP very fast due to their large hitboxes. Also, I haven't played him yet, but I was expecting with the buffs to his weapon spread and controls, that Lifeweavers would be doing a lot more damage. Sad to say that i didnt play a single game where a lifeweaver had more than 2500 dmg, and most games, they had around 500-1000 dmg. Healing numbers were fine, but as we know every burst takes a long time to charge, so its hard to do damage in between heals. This makes it so that if not played with another support that could in theory deal high heal numbers from all ranges (like Ana or Bap), people always play Lifeweaver like a healbot behind the team and don't help with any damage on their end. This makes for very difficult games especially if your support combo is Weaver/Mercy. Mercy has the damage boost at least to help, but she doesn't do any damage herself, and neither does Lifeweaver or else the tank is literally dead
His healing feels a little better without the slowdown on charge up, but mixing in damage still feels like it takes a risk you don't have on most other supports. Since his heal is a charge up NOT having a charge heal ready to fly means that if a team mate takes a big hit and needs a heal you'll need time to swap weapons and charge that heal and by then the team mate could have taken follow up damage that they'd have survived if you had just held a charge heal instead. Kiriko feels better in this regard in that while she has to deal with a slow heal travel time instead of a charge up, she's weaving in damage while that heal is traveling and by the time the heal lands she can decide whether it's worth sending more pre-emptize healing or to throw more damage out. And of course Bap, Zen, Lucio, Moira don't even need to think about their heal to damage timing because they can swap between the two almost instantly.
A lot of factors play in how good LW can be. Granted this was in quick play, but I was LW and my fellow support was Zen, and we kept our team alive well. I'm sure it was just massive skill issue on the enemy team, but at least Zen + LW can sometimes work
@@redoofstro I don't think anyone is suggesting that LW is unplayable. He's not an outright throw pick (I don't think any of the heroes are in OW2.) I think the enemy comp matters and how hard they decide to come after LW determines whether or not he can be played. LW escapes are so situational and there are plenty of enemy picks that could essentially negate them and make him a very easy kill. Slow healing, a bad ult, low damage, and situational escapes all combine into his strengths just aren't worth his weaknesses if he gets focused at all. If the rest of your team is good and can hold a strong front line with enough damage and kills to keep the enemy from constantly pushing in, and they are fast to turn and deal with flankers, then LW can do his job and get those flashy saves.
I do believe your basic concept of weaver is a bit off. Yes its good to throw an early petal ... But that cool down makes Weaver a mobility character(when used properly) he can position a bit more aggressively than maybe you realize.
Weapon swapping can still be useful for reloading both the heal and the thorn gun. They both have their own ammo supplies, so makes sense to swap and reload vs try firing
I hate the new controls it basically nerfs your dash distance by 50% I don't think there is a single good reason to use it unless u are incapable of swapping weapons with a button
I hate playing with lifeweavers on my team. Whenever I'm trying to bait someone into a room with a mine on the ground and 2 ready to go they pull me out from making the play. Just a waste of space
Okay so LW works well with tanks that can't get out of the fight fast enough on their own like Rein, Ram, Orisa and Zarya. And any DPS that doesn't have an ability thatll save them when they are low like cass and Genji. This will help me know when to play LW cuz during the wrong match ups, he is just trash lol
I’ve been playing him today. He falls apart on a crap team for sure. He’s all about enabling other characters but he’s actually not bad. His healing is totally fine. Life grip is useful for tanks and pulling other supports back when they get low supporting someone. I had some great synergies with a torb turret in my last game (did a 6 minute hold on last point when our crappy tank left). His lock on is useful. Yeah. He’s fine. I played him before the rework and he SUCKED. He was terrible. Now he’s not bad. I would play him over some of the others especially depending on the map
Whelp, gg me. The whole fun part of his kit was swapping back and forth for the free reload and no downtime. Now the reload is PAINFULLY long. I really wish we could have played with the auto reload longer before they dumpstered it.
I know bruh whole community said “NOOOO IM NOT GOOD AT IT YET!!!” Edit: and the shit wasn’t even that difficult either how tf is swapping weapons almost instantly clunky dawg. Damn Moira players smh EDIT 2: I am mad
Already played 3 games of his new patch... Can't say how dissapointed I am. The movment reduction is good, The new ability button button layouts are good... but his problems are still sustained. His thorn volley is STILL so weak that there's no point in defending when being dove on and his alt swap from flower to thorns is so slow you can't react efficiently. 😤
Like it or not, his low damage output is intentional and part of his design identity. I'd like to be able to kill more reliably with thorns too but it's an aspect we'll have to abandon because its just not really a main part of his kit due to the devs' design. Best to just lean to the things hes actually efficient at to have fun with him 🤷♂️
I hate his new rework. It's supposed to be better but after playing him for over 10 hours it feels clunky again. I'm getting used to it but I miss his original controls.
Sorry but im just done with him. Not because of my team mate, its ME. I genuinely want to help but im a silver player. went i make the right move i get yelled at and the refuse to accept why i did it, when i make the wrong move ( like pulling someone to safety only to find out they were about to kill a mercy) i get flamed. This hero was not made for lower tier players like myself and is a throw pick because the healing is disappointing, team mates dont even use the pedal lift, damage is weak and the pull move is gonna take ALOT of practice, thus hurting every team i play on. I can tell hes god tier in like diamond and above, but seeing how little amount of people are actually in those ranks (10% at best) its basically a different game at that point.
In lower ranks, his healing is way better than you think. Just take high ground and spam healing and it's really easy to keep up with higher stat healers, because at that level, they're not being played at maximum efficiency, while your healing literally can't miss. As a rule, only pull people who are completely isolated or one shot. Only use petal for yourself unless you are specifically making a play like dodging an ult.
Keep practising him. Being humble about your personal skill level makes you 10 times better than the average silver player that thinks they should be in plat or higher. Sure he can be a throw pick but if you keep practising you will learn how to use life grip to it's fullest potential. Just swap to a different support when you realize that you don't provide much value for your team.
Already top win rate and second-highest in total healing... then gets buffs. Yeah, good job Blizz. Why don't we buff Ana while we're at it... maybe extend anti-nade to 8 second duration.
Lifeweaver still needs buffs. I’m a support main and his healing and damage are just way way too low. What a shitty way to release a character. Sojourn was meta for like 2+ months and support get this gimpy hero. Also charging up his heal is very tedious after doing it a bunch. It just doesn’t feel good healing with him compared to other healers. The targeting when your teammates are grouped sucks. Compare it to zen where if you harmony the wrong teammate you just hit the button again and it goes to a different teammate even if they are stacked. Really disappointed
i keep pressing shift thinking its my dash lol. if i could i would remap it to dash instead of double jump... anyways, i would give him 2 charges of his platform and let him dash to them if they arent too far away. kinda like how kiriko can port to allies, he could tp to his platforms.
My God I can't stand Dva players who sit in their own backline and try to snipe from range with her shotguns. The fact that the last clip was a Masters game is actually just atrocious. That Dva should be in silver.
These Life Weavers only playing the hero cause it's new and shiny and not because they understand how to play him or wanting to learn to play him. I wish people would stop throwing matches thinking they're good .
Lifeweaver has an interesting design but I think his abilities are far too niche and require too much work in order to achieve a similar value as other supports. A blindfolded, fingerless mercy using a track ball and rolling their wheelchair across the keyboard still provides way too much value relative to their input. "But mercy requires good positioning" umm no she doesn't, she's the most mobile hero in the game with both horizontal and vertical escape options oN A 2 SECOND CD. Her staff goes through walls, barriers, extends its own range and doesn't even require her target to be on screen with its only downtime being when she stops to briNG SOMEONE BACK TO LIFE. Even her pistol doesnt need aiming. Never in ANY game has a character's tier ranking been so blatantly disproportionate to the skill level required to effectively play them as mercy. Does no one else think it's weird that the average mercy main drops 2k rating the moment they dont choose mercy and have the character play itself while everyone else stays within close range of their main hero's role? Seeing a mercy in my lobby immediately makes me want to close the game, she's certainly not fun to play against and for anyone who does enjoy playing mercy Im sorry but theres a good chance you enjoy her so much because you get your fucking ass kicked when you try play anyone else. Regardless of additions or changes to the game, it will remain perpetually stale as long as Blizzard's balance philosophy doesnt change to address fuckups like mercy. We've already seen blizzard has no intention of meaningfully nerfing mercy or reworking her to put her tier ranking more in line with her skill level whether that be making her harder to play or reducing her effective value. They're too cowardly to do it. Once PvE story content is dropped and subsequently flopped this game will simply exist in limbo, basically dead, until a new hero shooter developed outside of China is released. Blizzard has the luxury of not having to compete against other developers which is very fortunate for them because if valve made TF3, OW would be gone faster than a lawyers morals "Never accept a shitty game as it seems to be, dare to see it for what it could be" - Some video game monke, idk prolly Donkey Kong

Lifeweaver sucks ass. The changes made him at least feel cleaner to play with, but he still just doesn't do anything. The core issue with this hero is that he doesn't have anything proactive that he can do to influence the game on his own. His whole kit is designed around your teammates making the plays for you. The pull can do cool things, but it ultimately does nothing if your team doesn't know what to do after. I wouldn't be surprised if he sees some pro play due to much higher levels of coordination, but he is a straight-up garbage hero for ladder players.

I’ve mained lifeweaver in comp for 24 straight hours now and gone from silver 2 to bronze 5
Proof that ow2 support role is a luck based game in terms of matchmaking.
Love your guides man! Been trying really hard to get used to the character
They should implement the parting gift passive into the Tree ultimate, when it gets destroyed the tree drops it.
Meh, kinda boring, tree already Guud
Nah
Maybe every third dash can leave one up to 3 total. There's easy ways to tweak it to make it more useful without reworking it completely.
He's fun
I've been practicing a lot with him an got 21k healing in game.
Hear is the easy way to play him.
You stay in the far back an heal like ana an zen bam there ya go
Especially cause it’s pretty much impossible to miss with his heals, playing in the back is my preferred method as well
Holy shit, 21k? I've only gotten 19k when I go nutty with Mercy, that's impressive.
I kind of like the double jump, but to be fair I never played lifeweaver before the change
The whole point of his kit is that he shouldn't spend time dealing damage unless it's 100% safe, you're playing him wrong.
ngl hes healing is prty ayt
Lifeweaver's lore and character is all about avoiding conflict and only using violence when there's literally no other option. This would feel so wrong for his character
I get where you're coming from, but this is against the point and spirit of the character - what you're basically saying is "this character wasn't made for me, but it'd be cool if it was made for me, and here's how they could make it for me"
1) getting a kill should be more than enough incentive to use the thorns, especially now that they got buffed;
2) it’s not really an interesting perk to have as it is basically just a win more feature;
3) it doesn’t help his neutral at all, because as soon as you get a kill you leave neutral lol
The masters player rarely used the full heal charge. Stopping at around 35-40 charge. Is that better?
yeah basically . the middle ground between speed/quantity .

It is
Ysah just rebind it
@@flounderflounder6833 You can’t if you use the new settings.
While Dva into Zarya is generally not a great matchup, having Lifeweaver paired with Lucio while having that Dva is even more questionable especially in Masters.
That dva 100% wasn’t master, probably silver
Good timing, just sat down to eat
relatable cant eat without youtube
There is another shadow nerf to Lifeweaver if you use the new controls. If you use the new controls you can no longer bunnyhop with dash because you have to double jump and bunnyhops need to be done on flat ground.
Just rebind it
@@flounderflounder6833 I mean I'm using the manual controls still cause I personally like them better. Just sucks that the new controls does that since in the new controls make dash bound to jump
If everyone sucks doesn't that mean we all are average? 😂
Yeah we’re all… *cough* average… just some guys are more average than me.
The biggest brain
I wish they had made it so if you hold down the jump button after jumping that you activate a glide like Mercy, with an animation where the petal on his back spins and acts like an umbrella, softening his fall speed, then maybe make Dash be on a crouch double click
Double tap and hold jump to glide
Double tap crouch to dash
Then all the other new controls they’re introducing
Idk, could’ve been a cool way to do it, might also lead to so cool lifegrips
Edit: also maybe make it so you have to hold the petal platforms button down and fill a little circle to destroy it, but if you place it and then tap it after somebody steps on it and it starts going up, you stop the platform mid ascension, allowing for some shorter elevators,
then eventually they could introduce new animations to it, so the platform originally isn’t bloomed, it’s closed up but still flat to step on, then when you step on it, it starts going up and “blooming”, unfurling, as it does, that makes it so it gives a tiny bit more cover until it’s full flat at full height, not a lot more, but it’ll reliably cover the bottom half of shortish characters as it goes up, characters like tracer and Torb would probably be able to crouch under it, but they can’t shoot through it, or shouldn’t at least
Also allow junkerqueen to cancel her ult like a rein pin, I’ve been wanting this change for the longesttttttt, just do this Quality of Life thing before changing anything else about her
why I am bad at Lifeweaver:
1) I do not have him unlocked
2) (see above)
3) ^^^
4) profit?
Dear Lifeweaver: It’s not me, it’s you.
Like if Lucio were currently in C tier, and other supports are way better atm, someone could still be a Lucio apologist and say "yeah but no one does the consistent reliable speed boosts like Lucio does, plus he's great on maps like Ilios well, plus he heals the whole team at the same time if they're around him, the character has pros and cons, imagine that"
About "Kiriko doesn't counter ults well" - you are just full of it here - I'm a Kiriko main and the majority of ults are counterable.
The spongebob guy doing the turn around meme at the health pack killed me 😂😂😂
I still use the old control layout for Lifeweaver, Space for Dash and Shift for petal feels SO clunky and wrong to me. Might just be me tho
I really really don’t like having the dash be bound to double jumping
I've blocked fire strikes with a well-timed pedal lifting
Absolutely love life weaver after the rework on the controls but I’m so confused why his healing is on a road load when his healing is already very slow.
Can we just appreciate the Lifeweaver's name in the clips at 6:10 onward
Cheers for the breakdown Freedo :>
The title for me cut off at “Why you suck at life…” The universe is speaking to me!!
tbh, I still suck on lifeweaver because I refused to train my muscle memory on him until the rework hit. Lets see how it goes now
Can you make a guide of heroes suited to game mode?
It's more about the specific maps and less about game modes.
I was playing him yesterday, i found out that you can destroy the petal even when you are spectating. So whenever enemy is on my pp I destroy it lol
The dude has already created a guide when I haven’t touched the hero yet!
They both have their own ammo supplies, so makes sense to swap and reload vs try firing
haven't even got the chance to play him yet, 34 BP levels to go...
Trudge on, brother, and good luck
Does anyone know how to revert back to the previous LW control scheme?
it should be in his settings . not every characters but his specifically,it should say use manual weapon swap control scheme or something like that
"You need a character that wants to int"
You see Fredo that's why I play Lucio
I really love Lifeweaver, he once saved my rein from certain death by pulling me out of a corner
I'm having a hard time watching that gold player gameplay. I've seen bronze players play more actively than that.
I always poke until im almost dead, then grab a buddy to shield myself as i run in fear. 😂
I'm going to go ahead and assume that it's because I haven't played him yet
Whelp, gg me. The whole fun part of his kit was swapping back and forth for the free reload and no downtime. Now the reload is PAINFULLY long.
I really wish we could have played with the auto reload longer before they dumpstered it.
I know bruh whole community said “NOOOO IM NOT GOOD AT IT YET!!!” Edit: and the shit wasn’t even that difficult either how tf is swapping weapons almost instantly clunky dawg. Damn Moira players smh EDIT 2: I am mad
I hate that I cant rebind my dash anymore. So f'ing annoying, so I'm back to the old config... :s

Yes, you must get tier 45 in the battle pass this season.
@@nicholasliegey4478 oh OK similar to the last one. and oh it resets right.. alright fair enough, thanks

They should add a DPS with a RPG that can one shot with primary fire. Can also go back in time like tracer on 5 second cooldown.
bait? lol
Theyd do this and then nerf genji
GG that was me…
Already played 3 games of his new patch...
Best to just lean to the things hes actually efficient at to have fun with him 🤷♂️
@@ultracloudx He's not efficient at anything lmao.

To be frank, my muscle memory after 7h of playing him don't whant to give up, so the last few matches with him i totally sucked
Hol6 shot. That gold lifeweaver footage was painful to watch. This was not only gold footage. It was console gold footage at that.
Why you taking to me that way, Freedo?
I just don’t think he’s worth the effort. His kit is too niche and controls and abilities still not intuitive, even with the update.
Fr he’s just too much effort to get any value, vs playing any other support and getting value from less work
We should get this change for Mercy and Torbjorn just sayin
Double jump for mercy jump and alt fire as pistol
Melee should just be hammer for torb
Lifeweaver hitbox massively huge
How to play lw:healbot because hitting his projectiles is too hard
I hate his new rework. It's supposed to be better but after playing him for over 10 hours it feels clunky again. I'm getting used to it but I miss his original controls.
You can still have it by switching to it in the controls menu.
Every Life Weaver player playing like a wood rank rn

Sounds like you're a bronze stats goblin that doesn't actually understand the game.
I suck at life weaver because I don’t have him unlocked (thanks Blizzard)
It's called a magazine
I'm the first lifeweaver and yes I have got the hang of the character 😅😅
Blizzard has the luxury of not having to compete against other developers which is very fortunate for them because if valve made TF3, OW would be gone faster than a lawyers morals

Since the general concensus (by the ow community as a whole, for years) is that mercy is by far the least skill reliant hero so Im going to assume your piss poor comment is about lifeweaver.

This gold player looks incredibly consistently confused lol
Lifeweaver sucks ass. The changes made him at least feel cleaner to play with, but he still just doesn't do anything. The core issue with this hero is that he doesn't have anything proactive that he can do to influence the game on his own. His whole kit is designed around your teammates making the plays for you. The pull can do cool things, but it ultimately does nothing if your team doesn't know what to do after. I wouldn't be surprised if he sees some pro play due to much higher levels of coordination, but he is a straight-up garbage hero for ladder players.
