I find it kind of weird the healing flower can be used when not targeting a ally and the ammo still gets used up. What if he could throw the flowers and they stay like a health pack for a few seconds they could slowly lose the amount of health they heal before they disappear kinda like his passive merging with his heal.
I hope with his thorn on alt fire, we will still be able to bind his dash to other keys. One neat tech is his bunny hop from his dash. His jump carries the momentum of his dash when timed right at the end.

Please change the name as well. Thanks.
After playing with him a little bit, I think the charge time could be reduced to help this, the only issue with this tho is that after sending a blossom to a teammate, your thorns may not have auto reloaded yet. So yea 5-10 more healing is probably better when looking at the grand scheme of things
I was masters 2 in support and then suddenly my teammates specifically either my rank or other support were throwing or were not as par as everyone else and I went on a 20 game losing streak over the span of 2 days and I deranked twice all the way into plat 3… I think blizzard not doing a tank reset was not a very good idea bc my lobbies are filled with players that don’t belong there
He heals decently, it's just unpleasant to do at the moment because of that clunky charge + slow mechanic. I often see LW having same healing outputs as other main supports (but his damage output is almost non existent). With that much utility in his cooldowns you need to be careful about buffing his healing numbers. Especially since it's auto aim with significant range so you can pocket your Genji from far away without any issues (unlike Baptiste who struggle to keep fliers and flankers alive)
Kind of a wild idea but I think the true solution to matchmaking is to simply just make players be put into good games even if queue times needs to be sacrificed. They could maybe test out things like Queue minigames or promote workshop games players can play while queuing. There is no point on waiting 3-15 min to get into a competitive game that feels like QP. If they want a gamemode for casual gamers, simply improve QP and make competitive separate.
Crazy concept, but what if lifeweavers petal dropped when he killed enemies, and instead gave overhealth. It seems more fun than a generic heal and would reward playmaking.
The matchmaking for low gold to low plat is wild atm, I’ll have four games in a row being stomped but having similar stats to the enemy team but there’s always one enemy or team mate who’s stats are wildly lower or higher than the rest of team, sometimes our team will have 5000 damage 0 kills and the enemy team will have 15 kills and 5000 damage

What if instead of how Parting Gift worked previously, upon dying, Lifeweaver sends out a 75 healing projectile to the last target he healed with his Primary Heal. That feels much more impactful but remains true to the original concept
After playing him a bit, the QoL changes seemed great and would make him playable at all skill levels, these buffs are massive though since using thorns would reload the heals, was it necessary to buff the ammo count by 2/3rds of what he has currently... also his damage was a bit lacking at long ranges but I tend to win more duels than lose them when getting flanked, so tighter spread may end up changing his play style quite a lot especially since you build ult faster by doing damage... the tree buff is very necessary though, it ws very underwhelming, since it basically needed you to have an ult just to do what Baptiste does on cooldown
Yeah, tree feels pretty garbage. Every other support ult has potential for huge heals, damage, or utility, but I regularly kill people around the tree. It currently feels like a small Mei wall that does a small amount of burst heals. Definitely feels like the worst support ult right now, though with too many buffs it could be really oppressive. As for his ammo, I'm a bit unclear how it will work now. Is it like Bap, where it's a single "gun" with shared reload? If so, you're losing that background reload. It seems okay, but I've only played him for like an hour. I found him to be pretty weak and clunky, so shelved him because I assumed they'd do some kind of revision.
No. Matchmaker is still terrible. I believe every season of overwatch 2 thus far has actually gotten WORSE in terms of the matchmaker. Overwatch competitive is the least competitive game that’s out there right now. Devs have to stop putting people multiple ranks apart into the same lobbies. Roblox lobbies are more balanced than this.
ive actually noticed MASSIVE improvements to match quality since s4. before that almost every match was sort of a roll or get rolled, now every match ive played so far (well its only like 10) were very close and fun.
As a console player, I'll be interested to see how his new mappings will feel, with alternate fire. But I've actually gotten verrrry used to his weapon swap once I remapped it to just replace reload. So i might end up just continuing to use it like that lol. Also excited for these buffs, i dont know that i expected so many! From playing him a bunch, it honestly feels like his weakest part is the fact that his hitbox is so massive, so hey maybe his tools being ever MORE useful make that a bit worth it
parting gift really was a way for the devs to part from the idea from collectibles dropping from a dead body. thinking about souls and scrap, which was also removed way back when
On stomps: anecdotal and has been mentioned before, but on some maps I'm just much much more effective. I.e. Eichenwalde I frequently stomp on defense as pharah, and am more average on other maps. I feel like they'd need to get to that granularity for some of the matchmaker
I *do* like the change to the slowdown only applying if you decide to hold the heal charge. That encourages people to NOT just hold heal charges and instead be more active in the fight (and maybe contribute damage instead if a heal isn't immediately needed.) I DO still think the concept of a charge up heal is counter intuitive to any hero that is meant to help contribute damage though , because damage comes in fast in Overwatch. It forces a player to play predicting damage instead of reactive to damage coming in, because if you are reacting with a charge up heal it's going to often be too late. And if you are forced to play predictive of damage, you are going to be playing even more often as heal bot instead of helping with damage, which feels like the wrong direction for Overwatch. Maybe a better mechanic would have been a fast non charged heal healing the same as a charged heal, but the charged heal having an additional effect, like a splash of healing to people near the target or a charged heal leaving a buff that increases the size of the NEXT charged heal by a little bit.
Mostly people wish he has more healing buff. I mean , Lifeweaver is a utility support not meant to be a fast healer . His throwing a petal and heal an ally is convenient different from some other heal even his heal is too low. Still some idea like ' granting a regenerate for team when dash or his heal can a bit regen ' are agreed. Need to see his change in future , maybe P Bua (Lifeweaver) can be more much heal or something.

Ok the only good thing I see here is the movement speed slow when healing being mostly gone And the passive removed. I think all these changes were absolutely needed. My only concern is that this may have the Ramattra effect. Ram needed 1 specific buff in order to go from virtually unplayable to absolutely busted. I really hope that all of these buffs aren't going to end up needing to be taken back a bit because he's now too strong, but I would ultimately take a fun new busted character over a weak uninteresting one
At the end of the day, I don't mind if they overbuff him a little, people learn to play him, and then he gets debugged to reasonable, as long as Blizzard are quick with the changes.
I think the ult should have a passive buff, like maybe lowering the amount of damage allies take when in its range or something. It could help people surviving some enemy ult like Tracer's pulse bomb
I think the removal of "Parting Gift" is a buff, not a nerf. Supports did not need any more incentive to be focused down by the enemy. Rewarding them even further for doing so, just made Lifeweaver an even more tempting target to the point where it felt like "hey Blizzard, why do you have so much hate for Supports?"
Also, I don't think those changes to Tree of Life are the ones it needs. Yes, it needs to be harder to kill, but I don't think a 20% health increase solves that. Also yes the continual heal is underwhelming, but I don't think increasing it gives the Tree more of a purpose. Tree is immobile AND can be destroyed really easily, but the real problem is it doesn't counter anything. Even the stuff they sort of implied it should help counter (ults where taking cover is the solution) it doesn't do that job very well because most of those ults eat tree up and still have room to eat players for dessert (also they usually need IMMEDIATE responses, and hitting your tree ult AND placing it takes that fraction of a second to long to the point where it's usually too late for it to have saved anyone.) Since Tree has a delay to it's cast (while you decide where to place it), can be destroyed , AND is immobile, shouldn't it do something better and more interesting than what it actually does?
@@makingmonsterart Casting time is dependant on the player mostly, since it's animation is very quick. I agree that it's not great at stoping many ultimates, but not being able to save people is a bit of a reach imo. Tree has big range of deployment and has long AoE range. I used it to heal critical teammates without any issues. Problem with the tree was that it was pretty garbage after that initial burst, so I'm glad they buffer healing per tick. 75 sounds like a pretty handy amount, it will be more comparable to Valkyrie strength. It won't save you from nano blade or grav dragon, but it will from Visor, Reaper ult probably, stuff like Ramattra ult. All those ults without high bursts + of course it's a good relief of pressure once you are start losing fight. Think of it more like Coalescence and Valkyrie, less of Trans or beat. It's long duration, medium impact ult rather than short duration powerful impact
@@Harevald I mean, sure yeah it CAN save people, but it's best use it seems is just a burst heal for your team. That's not ult worthy. It can turn a hairy normal fight into a win, but can you point to an enemy ULT you think this is a good counter for? Like, Beat, Rally, Trans, those have pretty strong use cases. They can help you survive some significant ults, or be a very strong fight initiation. Neither is true for Tree really. It's just a better ult version of Bap's burst heal
Coal and Valk are both very mobile and can do both damage and heal. Tree is stationary and can be trivially destroyed before it ends. To have it also mainly be a group heal that isn't crazy enough to out heal most ults.. eh?
I really wonder what his test builds were like that made them feel the need to keep him so heavily "balanced". also his passive was one of the dumbest abilities in the game. who in their right might thought it would be a good idea to have a passive ability that rewarded the enemy team for killing you.
Lifeweaver rewards coordination and knowledge. The people who would have been playing him most would have had those things. I fully believe if we waited a couple of months with no buff, Lifeweaver would be competitive at the highest level. It's going to be hard to balance him so he's playable for random bronze solo queue and not totally broken in serious competitive play
If they wanted to keep some of the passive functionality but removing it's benefit to enemies, they should just change the death flower to function like a mini version of his ult. the flower would grow, do a healing burst around the death location and despawn. However I do understand that having a friendly death be potentially beneficial to the team will always be a bit iffy in terms of gameplay design.
Huge buffs? Lol No. Slight changes yes. But having longer reload time is a nerf. No buff in healing or damage. Putting the dash on double jump also slows down reaction time... The tree of life is at least buffed. Sad parting gift is gone. They should have changed it yes but not remove So DEFINITELY not a buff
I don't think Lifeweaver's healing blossom need to reload since his charging heal is already like a mini reload. Unless they buff the value of healing ofc.
I think something they need to look at is map impact on MMR. Some maps more heavily favor the defenders or attackers, and that can sometimes lead to a stomp
Idk why they added that passive to begin with. It just boosted the enemy more often than not. It was a worse version of reapers og passive which they removed in the first place
I’m a really good support player that had been in plat 1 and jumped all the way to diamond 2 in a day. But that changed when match making put me with tanks and dps that can’t do there job and get picks I’m healing but I can’t do anything if we’re getting rolled by the other team that has all good stats. So it ended with 5 wins - 11 losses right back to plat 3 lol. There was only one time where the other team out healed me.
Getting rid of Parting Gift entirely seems weird to me. I like it in theory cuz it's like a support version of Junkrat's death bombs. Wouldn't it be better to just get rid of the 'also heals enemies' instead of just deleting it?
The buffs are amazing. Well done blizzard! Quick fixes like this are NEEDED going forward and should be done and frequently as possible to balance characters.
I think Lifeweaver on lower elo will have a much easier time contending Moiras with this new smaller spread thorn valley update. The problem with supports on low elo is that if your aim isn't the best even if you have good mobility like Lucio and Mercy, Moiras can just freely w key you coz her suck has decent range too. With Lifeweaver on low elo, he can just soldier 76 moira continuously, especially after her fade and she gone.
honestly, im just really happy to see this level of reactivity and communication from the team. almost feels like we're all designing this character together in real time, lmao
1. Parting gift removed is not negligible, we all liked it 2. Yes you did benefit from it as it gave you ult charge for healing the person that picked it up
Alright I'll say it, I'm sad that we don't have the cool opportunity to try hannamura,Anubis, volskya with the new support movement abilities. I mean shoot how different would Paris first point be if the attackers could just elevator up to the platform, or a team could move from point A horizon to the high ground with an elevator. I personally think the devs missed an opportunity to make 2CP work with 5v5 and new incoming character designs. Kinda lame they're gone almost exclusively because the 2 highest ranks complained about stalling tactics
thank god they're fixing the match making. me and my friend used to play open queue comp because were both tank mains but it seemed we always had bad teammates whilst the enemy had way stronger teammates. Ex, one game I was plat 5 on a 4 win streak with no losses and then the next game we have a silver and they have a gm and a masters. we ofc lost horribly and I'm happy that will hopefully not happen anymore.
I think people were crying about his button mappings. I didn't mind any of it personally and I kinda liked the bloat of it all. Made it fun to play, tho I do come from an MMO background so I am used to this perhaps.
Parting gift was bad. Unless you got sniped from across the map 90% of the time it was going to whoever dove you. Doesn't matter if the enemy gets a little and allies get a lot if allies rarely get it. Good job devs
like give heal to the enemy was a bad idea already and he is gonna be far behind because that his abilities work and nobody is gonna walk all the map for that healt only the enemy who kill him
Idk if this has been talked about with the game before for ranked, but why can't we have solo and team queue? Solo would try and keep you with skill rating as much as possible and team would have a bit of a more open range. Ofc not like insane several ranks away but I'm sure everyone has had crap moments where you can't play with someone like just one rank level too far.
The only people worried about his passive going away is enemy genji players xD. Low key another genji nerf, being able to dive him hard than heal up to fight another squishie would be pretty nice for dive characters. Even thought the healing was less I bet enemy's still benefitted more from his passive anyways. I don't think it's that much of a nerf to lifeweaver at all. Now you just don't get free ult charge when you die
The matchmaking problem that can't be addressed or accounted for is that sometimes even when the rank of both teams is very even one of those teams will have players maining heros that counter the enemy team and all the heros they main think sym, mei, and rein/ball/doomfist into pharmacy or an echo player
That is why the Overwatch Playerbase needs to have heroes that cover a wide variety of situations the enemy team will throw at you. I primarily play Junk, Solider, and Tracer for DPS. However I am sufficient with Ashe and Sombra. Zarya, Sigma, and Winston for tank Brig, Lucio and Zen for healer.
Is there any chance for those who played overwatch one that the matchmaker could be using old mmr/sr from what was last recorded before the release of ovw 2 on overwatch 2 after linking accounts even if the rank given doesn’t match what your last known rank was prior to release
I think this is like a new trend in Overwatch, unlike in OW1 where most new release characters debut as super broken, with Overwatch 2, most new releases start up underpowered
Is their something up with being stuck Bronze 5? I was Gold last season but it threw be in Bronze 5 DPS. But kept me in Gold for Tank and Support. And I even made it to Plat in support. But after multiple tetanus, some which were around 5-2 W/L with solid KDR and I haven’t moved up from Bronze 5 once.

I noticed this week that I'm actually winning backfills where b4 it was 90% a gg nxt.
I find it kind of weird the healing flower can be used when not targeting a ally and the ammo still gets used up.
What if he could throw the flowers and they stay like a health pack for a few seconds they could slowly lose the amount of health they heal before they disappear kinda like his passive merging with his heal.
Am I the only one who thinks he should be able to glide as a passive? I mean he can flower himself into the air and gliding would be cool
I hope with his thorn on alt fire, we will still be able to bind his dash to other keys. One neat tech is his bunny hop from his dash. His jump carries the momentum of his dash when timed right at the end.
They said that going forward Dash will be a like Hanzo's Lunge
Basically meaning you can’t jump after dash unless it can be remapped
@@wolf.467 Iirc you can still use the old keybind, so i guess it could still work
@apel sejati Yeah. They said we can use the old key binds. Hopefully that includes dash.
I sure as shit dont want it on jump x2, way less control..
I still think the healing blossom needs a larger heal amount. 70 max. 15 min. And all the other charge levels buffed by around 5 healing per tick of charge as well.
This is literally like exactly what I want
Its fine where it is. He can completely remove the enemy teams ability to punish ppl. He doesnt need high burst heals
@@happyhopehuber Thank you. Someone else who understands what his strengths are and not that he is just a heal bot.
@@happyhopehuber 5 more healing isn’t high burst healing. He has the lowest healing numbers in the game. He has to heal bot now just to keep anyone up. More heals per charge means more time to do other stuff. You don’t have the data and skillset to determine if he’s “fine now” or not.
Not to mention mercy can also erase your teammates mistakes, all while providing more heals and a damage boost.
@@ReaveIdono he’s forced to be a heal bot because his heals are so low. No time for other stuff because you’re always shooting baby heals out. He’s definitely a heal bot right now. Stronger heals would allow him more time to do damage and platform people.
Imo Tree shouldn't get insta-destroyed by EMP. After all, it's a physical object, not a barrier. It should just take the 40% health and shut it down for a while, like it does to B.O.B. and Torb Turrets and the likes.
Another thing that needs to change, is his name... "Lifeweaver" does NOT sound like a name at all, it's like instead of "Mercy" she was called "FlyingHealer"... or instead of "Hanzo".... he was named "Archer".... or my final example, instead of "Genji"... he was called "Ninja". Please change the name as well. Thanks.
A lil buff to the heal would have been the cherry on top ,but I'm content with these changes 😂
I literally just want like 5-10 more I'm not asking for much, I just want to feel more complimentary to Ana than a hindrance
They should reduce the time even more to like 0.8sec to full charge
@@nailinthefashion agreed
After playing with him a little bit, I think the charge time could be reduced to help this, the only issue with this tho is that after sending a blossom to a teammate, your thorns may not have auto reloaded yet. So yea 5-10 more healing is probably better when looking at the grand scheme of things
Maybe next Patch if life is still weak
My teammates never bothered with the drop it was mostly benefitting the enemies
I was masters 2 in support and then suddenly my teammates specifically either my rank or other support were throwing or were not as par as everyone else and I went on a 20 game losing streak over the span of 2 days and I deranked twice all the way into plat 3… I think blizzard not doing a tank reset was not a very good idea bc my lobbies are filled with players that don’t belong there
I have the same problem. The matches are far more unbalanced than ever before 😢 I started in Diamond 4 now I am in gold 2
Bro the healing amount needs to go up 🤦♂️
try it out and maybe Blizzard will change it next Patch if life is still weak many small Patch>one big Patch
I was hoping for a faster healing charge. Thorns kinda needed the buff. The tree needed the buff. The bloom passive removed is meh.
Crazy concept, but what if lifeweavers petal dropped when he killed enemies, and instead gave overhealth. It seems more fun than a generic heal and would reward playmaking.
The matchmaking for low gold to low plat is wild atm, I’ll have four games in a row being stomped but having similar stats to the enemy team but there’s always one enemy or team mate who’s stats are wildly lower or higher than the rest of team, sometimes our team will have 5000 damage 0 kills and the enemy team will have 15 kills and 5000 damage
ended the last season with a pretty consistent win rate, but so far i've been stomped back to back to back to... to an extent, i consider not playing anymore - it's the opposite of fun and fair atm
@@shillingplays I don’t mind getting stomped but I hate having to play the same characters to even play the game, I love playing genji, echo, pharaoh and tracer but every game is a widow or bastion or soldier or sojourn and I can never play anyone I actually want to play
I still like the matchmaking updates and progress. I don't feel like it's repetitive I enjoy learning about what's happening
In my experience, 9/10 games you roll the enemy or they roll you. Very boring...
@@almo9060 In my experience it's more like 1/12 but I play in Plat Diamond Masters and GM depending who I queue with so it might be a different experience there. Solo queue I play Masters 3 as that is my current rank

Might be different experience if you are from a different region or play on a different platform or timezone where the majority population of the playerbase is getting tired or has on average been on for awhile longer
I bet there's a psychology aspect to it to as it's easy to win games when you are already winning, or get tilted if you don't know what to look out for in yourself
@@willwunsche6940 I play mostly Plat and sometimes Diamond on EU. I once saw a bronze player in my team who was probably in a party with someone and I talked shit all game because I was angry at the mmr for placing me with such noobs and it got me banned (chat only) for 2 weeks. Didnt realize he was bronze until after the game.
Roblox lobbies are more balanced than this.
all ranks are just dumb now lol
Where are all these replay VOD reviews you keep mentioning at the end of the vid? I'd like to see one but can't find any on the channel.
Every patch notes video…. Just praying for that much needed Genji buff 😭
Will we ever get a forgiveness system to not lose ranked points when a teammate just leaves a ranked game?
ive actually noticed MASSIVE improvements to match quality since s4.
before that almost every match was sort of a roll or get rolled, now every match ive played so far (well its only like 10) were very close and fun.
From playing him a bunch, it honestly feels like his weakest part is the fact that his hitbox is so massive, so hey maybe his tools being ever MORE useful make that a bit worth it
parting gift really was a way for the devs to part from the idea from collectibles dropping from a dead body. thinking about souls and scrap, which was also removed way back when
Stomp can also be map based. Certain players being really good at a certain hero means they can role on certain maps then get rolled on others
What damage? His damage is just as nonexistent as his healing
So what’s his new passive then if they’re removing parting gift?
Nothing
ana dosent have and she is fine
Mostly people wish he has more healing buff. I mean , Lifeweaver is a utility support not meant to be a fast healer . His throwing a petal and heal an ally is convenient different from some other heal even his heal is too low. Still some idea like ' granting a regenerate for team when dash or his heal can a bit regen ' are agreed. Need to see his change in future , maybe P Bua (Lifeweaver) can be more much heal or something.
Community reeeeeeee’d and instead of giving them awhile to get used to the hero they sandblast the interesting aspect of the hero to make him more basic. Nice.
Ok the only good thing I see here is the movement speed slow when healing being mostly gone And the passive removed. I’m gonna tell ya this man still takes 4min to heal up a tank on his own when your second healer dies in a fight he will still be weak as he is now I dont see these “buffs” do any impact at all he still has a hitbox the size of a tank…. And yeah he got 25heal to help him out rofl
Parting Gift should have still be an ability, but only for allies.
Only issue I have with character is it is too much on screen with him, between the flower pads and tree. I am not sure how I feel about him yet
The heal didn’t need a reload. So stupid.

They should have changed it yes but not remove
So DEFINITELY not a buff
They need to make his ultimate a garden with a treeeee
Lifeweaver has to be the fastest hero to receive a buff and a rework so soon after his release; at least that I can remember
Cause they saw how shit he was.lets hope he isnt still shit after these so called buffs
I like these changes, and also, let’s be honest, I don’t think a teammate has ever used parting gift, just enemies
What? Maybe in qp but both teams have a chance to defend in comp
@@arbre_mystique Yeah we're just talking strictly qp
@@CrowBirdCannon yeah but mmr impacts competitive not qp
Idk why they added that passive to begin with. It just boosted the enemy more often than not. It was a worse version of reapers og passive which they removed in the first place
I’m a really good support player that had been in plat 1 and jumped all the way to diamond 2 in a day. But that changed when match making put me with tanks and dps that can’t do there job and get picks I’m healing but I can’t do anything if we’re getting rolled by the other team that has all good stats. So it ended with 5 wins - 11 losses right back to plat 3 lol. There was only one time where the other team out healed me.
I hope old battlepasses become available in the future so you can buy any one you want and work on it. Like you can in halo infinite
They clearly didn’t think the parting gift passive all the way through.
All good changes. Depending on the spread tightness now he might be able to compete with Zen but Discord Orb is hard to beat.
nah he will never be able to compete with zen discord orb is too strong for that
honestly, im just really happy to see this level of reactivity and communication from the team. almost feels like we're all designing this character together in real time, lmao
1. Parting gift removed is not negligible, we all liked it
Got a game where I was the only master player on my team (the rest were plats) against 3 masters players and 2 diamonds. Great matchmaking!
thank god they're fixing the match making. me and my friend used to play open queue comp because were both tank mains but it seemed we always had bad teammates whilst the enemy had way stronger teammates.
I new parting gift would end up as a fun fact years from now
Parting gift was bad. Unless you got sniped from across the map 90% of the time it was going to whoever dove you. Doesn't matter if the enemy gets a little and allies get a lot if allies rarely get it. Good job devs
like give heal to the enemy was a bad idea already and he is gonna be far behind because that his abilities work and nobody is gonna walk all the map for that healt only the enemy who kill him
Will Aaron talk about the east coast server and why it's offline now? Ping is a mess over here.
I don't get the slow change, who is walking around holding max heal charge for over a second?
The loss of the passive is more of a buff imo. You tend to be kinda close to the enemy who kills you and they take it.
I want 6v6 map back as a game mode
Definitely. I miss 6 v 6
Now you just don't get free ult charge when you die
was worst vs a sombra you can't use anything because she hacks everything of him so she can camp you and the only way is to switch
When does this go live
The matchmaking problem that can't be addressed or accounted for is that sometimes even when the rank of both teams is very even one of those teams will have players maining heros that counter the enemy team and all the heros they main
think sym, mei, and rein/ball/doomfist into pharmacy or an echo player
That is why the Overwatch Playerbase needs to have heroes that cover a wide variety of situations the enemy team will throw at you.
I primarily play Junk, Solider, and Tracer for DPS. However I am sufficient with Ashe and Sombra.
Zarya, Sigma, and Winston for tank
Brig, Lucio and Zen for healer.
i dont really like the gift but i can exist for 5 second or 3 then it will expload aoe heal or at the start. The heal can go through wall
Why isn't the ridiculous hitbox being addressed though?
It makes no sense that his petals count as his body, is this actually intended?
Is there any chance for those who played overwatch one that the matchmaker could be using old mmr/sr from what was last recorded before the release of ovw 2 on overwatch 2 after linking accounts even if the rank given doesn’t match what your last known rank was prior to release
Honestly, I dont think I ever saw anyone even noticing the lifeweaver drop. 💀
The Hero hasn't even been out for 3 weeks yet and he's almost getting a full rework... sheesh!!
Parting gift was trash anyway, but now he's just not going to have a passive at all?
A lot of heroes dont have one
@@WorldKeepsSpinnin interesting
@@CGDavis indeed
I'll miss that Parting Gift, it was so unique
Removing the passive is a straight up buff because now flankers who take him out won't get that 25 health
lifeweaver got ult charge from a teammate picking up a death petal... idk how much that will make a difference
I think this is like a new trend in Overwatch, unlike in OW1 where most new release characters debut as super broken, with Overwatch 2, most new releases start up underpowered
Didnt you gain ult charge for the dropped petal on death? Another minor nerf
Getting rid of parting gift doesn’t even sound like a nerf to me. More often than not, parting gift was just a punishment for overextending.
Yo losing that passive is actually a buff, most of the time the enemy team was pikcing it up after killing me and getting a heal from it
I'll gladly wait way longer queue times for better matchmaking. I could catch up on my shows while I wait 10+ mins
Please make the platform not block lifeweaver's healing LOS!
