It is amazing how much can turn on one play. Evans has a perfect touchdown pass, but pulls his Hammy and drops it. So the Bucs go from up 17-7, and the whole Team juiced up to play for Mike after a heroic TD, to an INT in the EZ and a totally demoralized squad. Immediately give up an easy Bomb and quickly down 14-10. Massive momentum swing on one play. Godwin likely doesnt get hurt later if they went up 17-7 there.
Brit is killing us but Whitehead had a pretty bad game as well. The defense overall played really really bad. Even so if we don't get that dumb holding call and mike doesn't drop that ball... might have been a different game. Yes we got steamrolled. But could have been a much tighter game. Mikes drop really hurt cause if he doesn't drop that Baker doesn't throw the first interception and perhaps, he doesn't try to force that second int. Baker did not play that great either. but that is Baker, he like try's to hard to make something happen sometimes. Its all good I will take the bad with the good
I don't know if he can actually Play WR, but putting Buck & Tuck in the backfield and lining up White in the slot might be our only option.. just friggin tragic loss for the team
This team had a Superbowl window open for the offense this season but not for the defense. I expect the Bucs to pick up a couple/three free agents on defense next season and have a defensive draft. Hopefully the offense will grow from the rest of this season and come back stronger and more experienced next year.
I believe we can still beat atl without Godwin and Evans. But even if we lose there is still hope. So maybe we get the wildcard no big deal as long as Godwin and Evans can be back for the playoffs
James is emotional right now. We still have the talent to win games. We can be 6-4 going into the bye and Evans will be back to help us finish with 10 - 11 wins. Mayfield can distribute. we have reliable receivers in Otton and Shepherd, we can use White more in the passing game. Our O line has improved, we can run the ball. The bigger issue is the defense. We have to blitz to get pressure but that is leaving us vulnerable in passing zones. Not sure if its a talent issue or a scheme issue and how to fix it. That is where Bowles can turn this season around. There is no time to wallow in self pity. We have the guys to get it done.
Now that we have some running back depth. Maybe Rachaad White gets some of those plays Godwin had. White is good in space at least. Huge loss but can’t give up season yet.

While I’ll admit Im not a football strategist or coach, and it seems like the players like him, can somebody please explain why the pros outweigh the cons for keeping Todd at this point? Liam Cohen is going to prove in the next couple weeks that Todd needs to be let go so Liam can take over as head coach in the offseason. Based on the results and adjustments we’ve seen on offense vs defense, I believe the conclusion to be self evident even to a layman that Todd is not the right man for the long haul.
I would have been pissed if he pulled the starters when we were down 10 points with 2 minutes to go. That's what these guys play for. No way they were coming out. Injuries happen. Every team is dealing with it that's why depth is important. They could have been injured on any play at any time.

I think it was a hip Drop tackle … gotta see video from other angles to be sure … but type of injury seems that is was … … if it is …. Suspension and fines should be imposed … and penalty should be suspension length which is as long as victim or injured is out … only way to stop it …
Baker had a horrible game he threw so many medical balls high, low just look at all the hits Otton took. Chris was beast'n this season he looked amazing 2 yrs off his knee injury 🙏😢🙏🙏

Since becoming the head coach, it has gone backward. Now, injuries on defense have hampered it the past few years. So we can't put that on the coach either. It is time for plyers to step it up. The issue here is keeping players. Yes, we ll wnt a dynsty, but face it, the culture has changed. We need to have a better mix of youth and veterans on the team. I think the salary cap should cap the position, not the team.
