The thing about this guy that set him apart in my mind, was in the yr 2000. AOL was really the only game in town as far as the Internet and when Chat rooms were just getting popular, Message boards were all the rage for music fanatics. Zakk would visit and post on Ozzy's board once in a blue moon. There was a girl dying of Cancer in the hospital. We put out the word, and Zakk had Ozzy call her in the hospital and that shit still brings tears to my eyes today. Class and honor is What he's about 100% Respect due. He also did an Online Chat and answered dozens of questions were told it needed to end but he just went 45 minutes over to answer all our questions. He sets the example no doubt.
holy pentatonic! it's fucking Zakk Wylde!
Omg i would love to hang out with Zack. He is so cool and he likes to talk. The way he says stories is amazing. He narrows and living them again.
zakk was so stuck on the re- audition thing lol

Day
The Immortal Beloved!!! How Fantastic is it that he still loves his wife that much!!! 😍😍😍😍😍Makes me love him all the more!!!
🙄
I love how he calls Eddie Van Halen 'King Edward' and Randy Rhoades 'Saint Rhoades'
I was today years old when I learned Zakk Wylde has a thick Jersey accent. And I've been a fan for decades lol. It's weird how I've listened to thousands of hours of him playing and singing and also read his book and only now have heard him have a conversation. That's not how I imagined his voice at all LMAO
I'm from Jersey so I never knew he had a heavy accent till I saw the comments about his accent lol.
@@davidpignatore6532being from Jersey it’s not gonna be prominent to you. My wife is the same way, she’s from Newark and she occasionally gets a very thick Jersey/Philly accent at times.
@20TheGame09 I'm aware. I'm 5 minutes from where your wife grew up. If I go anywhere, except NYC, everyone knows I'm from NJ or at least from the area. Funny cause I can hear other NJ accents and think its heavy.
I'd be willing to bet the first BLS album with the original Johnny Walker cover art (before it got changed) must be worth some serious money now due to its rarity. Glad I got my copy before JW put the hammer down!
Don't bet too much. It goes for about 20 bucks...
@@deathbykebab Who knows, due to the rarity, someday it could really take off.
For some reason that turn in the beginning made me happy
I'll take a beer every time he says "you know".
😂😂😂 you made me go back and watch it all again.
Goddammit. Right babe?
I was drunk after 2 minutes
alcohol poisoning incoming
Jim Root is that you?
Zakk is a riot! Gotta love his playful side as well as his serious side!!! Well done Zakk!❤❤❤
Zakk Wylde is one of my hero’s... and I’m a Bassist
legendary sense of humor and you can tell he's a hip hop head too from his origin/the way he talks
Zakk looks like he just took a bunch of other peoples facial hair and made himself a beard and moustache. He’s the best lol
One Badass interview!!!! I met Zakk in Reno Nevada in 93 at a nice bar!!! He was on tour with Ozzy i believe then and he just wanted a Break!!! He was one Kooooooool dude!!!!! He even joined the Houseband and Jammed some 60s songs with those Guys!!!!! Really Down to Earth Brother!!!!!!!!!
you'll notice that the best guitarists have a healthy appreciation for Jimmy Page. People like to carry on about his sloppiness onstage sometimes which is certainly true but the best musicians know that he is a masterful composer of guitar music . He has recorded some of the most moving , perfect riffs and solos. Page is a bonafide genius and all the best and most successful rock players acknowledge it
Got to see him live Friday night. Still have chills from being mere feet away from him.
I was among the listening audience of the KISW Men's Room when they lost Zakk and found him later passed out on another floor of the studio.
Well done man, that was a really great interview. Great vibes all the way.
