I’ve always loved that ‘Live at Eindhoven’ ep by ‘Testament’… & I had no idea there had been a reissue featuring the whole set & featuring the original art! That has now made its way to the top of my want-list, lol! Always a good day when I get to watch a video from you my friend!🤘🏻
Hi Jurgen!! this was another cool episode of this series.... that Voivod looks so cool with the 3d glasses and so nice to see Brendan sending you those flyers to comptete the full album goodies. cheers and be well
Excellent stuff,Jurgen. My copy of that Testament live mini album has a picture of The New Order on the top left had corner. I have an OG copy of The Outer Limits ( Im sure its a DJ promo copy, but looks the same. Didn't realise the Listenable reissue was the 3d version, may have to source a copy 😉. 🤘🍻
You're sitting on quite a rarity with that Voivod. My mate bought the CD when it came out during an all-day drinking session and it had the 3D cover. The Testament logo on that full concert version is horrendous 😂.
I have a version of Infernal Overkill with Sentence of Death added on by Steam Hammer on CD which was a cool bonus, different album cover on front and back and good value as a 80's teenager.
Love that idea for the series. Myself, I would not be able to make such, as I only have one LP, which is doubled with two different pressings - and it is Dismember debut LP. None other album is twice, even with the CD version, in my collection.
I have the 2018 Nuclear blast version of the full Eindhoven gig, it sounds 'flat' when compared to the original EP sounds much better which I also bought when it came out and still have my og copy.
I assume they have touched up the five songs for the original EP. The reissue seems to be from the mastertapes of the gig. The old EP has more crowd noise and the sound is a bit fuller. The reissued version has more of a (good) bootleg quality to it. Same "problem" with the Sacred Reich and the Forbidden "Dynamo EPs".
Oh, maybe it´s just the fact it´s pressed on vinyl with a short running time. That´s usually louder and "richer" sounding.... I don´t know, just guessing...???
There are a couple of different versions of the whole Testament live ´87 on vinyl. Nuclear Blast did one... Again I have to thank you so much for the "replicas" of those old Hobbs flyers! My old record wouldn´t be the same without them! The one OG I´m after now is Mortal Sin´s debut, OG Aussie pressing in (at least) VG condition. Hard to get over here... and sure not cheap, hehehe...

🍻🤘🏻there is always time for a beer when you have a new video ready for a view.. Cheers!
Cheers! You have to be quick with the beer though, hehe... "Be quick and get drunk", wasn´t that a Maiden title...???
