So many classic metal records! I was drooling over all of it.
Saw Riot at the Monsters of Rock, Donnington, in 1980, what a day that was! Will forever be burned into my memory. Cool selection of classics you picked. I saw loads of brilliant albums as you were picking through them. Riot, Loudness, Heathen, MSG, Apocrypha, Helloween, Samctuary, Axe, loads. Your picks were cool too, love Armoured Saint, Jack Starr, Saxon. I will check out the Tyrant and Damien albums

I saw this excellent video rather late. Nice collection to dig through. You seem to have exactly the same collecting parameters as myself. I have the Tyrant and that Loudness album on my want list. Not too keen on Voivod or King Diamond. IMHO you should have grabbed The Lords Of The Crimson Alliance - unless you already had it and/or it was too expensive. Otherwise a good haul indeed. I hope you have bought those missing Saxon albums by now!.

Great grab! Glad you addressed the previous owners care because the quick flip through made my mouth water lol. Those were well taken care of! Not that it matters much, I would’ve selected a lot of the same selections you had picked. Especially the comps!

Wow I love that Overdrive album. As a matter of fact, I would put the first 4 songs off that album up against the first 4 songs of any album. Great find.

Great haul good sir! I've never seen an OG Overdrive "Swords and Axes". I have a banzai copy myself, but have never seen the Planet records version. Awesome! Also, the OG-ish War & Pain is awesome! I love Voivod's whole catalog, but their debut is special - nothing sounds like it! Totally unhinged and cagey.

Hurricane Eyes has some Hair Metal moments, but funnily enough it's also one of their heaviest. Kinda like Ram It Down, but with a better production, and better... well... everything.
I tried to pick what you grabbed from the flick video and I got about 10 right I think 😝 great scores and very cool to get first dibs
I would have liked that Heathen's first record. It looks like you snagged it. A really good record.
If you love Thunder In The East by Loudness then you NEED their Disillusion LP. An absolutely blistering Heavy Metal album from start to finish, for me a tad better (& slightly less commercial) than the aforementioned TITE album. It features the track Exploder. One of the few album guitar solos to come close to EVH’s Eruption. Try & snag the UK Music For Nations pressing if ya can as this the best one IMHO.

When I was in high school in San Francisco, I was friends with Lee Altus's little brother. Me and his little brother were in the backyard smoking cigarettes. Lee Altus caught us. He was mad at his little brother but was cool with me.
I even saw Lee Altus's bedroom door. He had a Venom sticker on it. 🤟 😁🤘

that A Saint - Delirious vinyl has the promo stamp too. I used to have the Heathen LP, plus a nice KD & M Fate vinyl collection. Sadly, sold it all years ago. Buch Spieler is a weird name for a record store. Are the owners German ?
That Damien is an awesome classic album reminds me of Sanctuary big time. Also, I'm still waiting for you to say something bad about Slipknot, hate them
Select records mostly known for rap records in the 80s, never seen anything but rap on that label.
Still cant find one European power metall band... All i remember is that they had an album with a picture of giant sword that stabs the planet. Would be rly happy if someone knows what band is it.
All those records are really cool...
But I believe they're all pretty common.. I bought most of those for nothing back when I first started collecting records.. 🎉

Cannot believe that you didn't take stuff like the Celtic Frost pic disc or the 1st Mercyful Fate records or Overdrive... Those are killer opportunities that you don't get every day.. I mean, Saxons and Armored Saints are available everywhere, all the time....
Things I didn’t grab were either because of specific condition or, more especially, I already had them (i.e. Mercyful Fate).
