What an awesome collection you have . Really loved all the stuff you showed but the one i loved the most was DISMEMBER ! I am not sure if its easy to find some of their albums .
@@tuco5474 I am one of those older wierdo's that still buys CD's. The day I cant buy a physical medium, is the day I'm out. I listen to tunes online, but I grew up with album covers and all the rest. It's part of it to me.
@@tuco5474 nah dude i am like 21 and started to collect cds since last year or so got 87 so far and mostly old school death metal and sm black metal and thrash metal 👍
Great collection some of a little bit envious of 😅 like the Cenotaph ep! Crazy how a video can get so many views and likes but not convert into subscribers? New sub here 🤘🏻
Thanks, I appreciate your comment. To be honest, I didn't understand about subscribers when I did this. I saw other similar videos on here and it seemed people liked them so I gave it go. 🤘
Thanks! 99% of my CD's were bought in a record store when they still existed. Today, it seems that the internet is the best place to look for CD's. Cheers!🤘
You can see what pressings they are from the back of the case and the spine. 99% of my collection are 1st pressings from R/C, Noise, Combat, Roadrunner, etc. If you have any questions I will gladly answer. Thanks for your comment. Cheers! 🤘
Solid collection! I love Napalm and been getting more Sepultura lately too. Carcass Im mostly into the first couple albums that more curst / early grind. Have you got any Repulsion? that shit was killer
Thanks, I really appreciate it. Yes, I have the first pressing of Horrified and the re-release. They can be seen in my 4th video here: ruclips.net/video/YgHNIOWcMrk/видео.html starting at 14:40. Cheers! 🤘
I am glad to know that the younger generation still likes to collect something physical for music. If I had kept all my records from all my life that would be quite a collection too. Forgive me for my curiosity. I'm a 50-year music lover who knows next to nothing about your favorite style of music. Could you explain how any one composition in this style differs from any other?
I'm not really sure how to answer you. You would get 10 different answers from 10 different people. My advice would be to listen to some early bands from the 80's (Venom, Metallica, Slayer, Bathory) and then listen to some 90's bands (Dismember, Bolt Thrower, Entombed, Hypocrisy, Carcass) and hear the difference for yourself. Thanks for watching. Cheers!

That's a debatable point. What you may not know is that I am limited in the amount of words I can use in the title and not limited in the description. In my title, I call it my Death Metal CD collection but in the description I call it my Death and Thrash Metal CD collection.
I think Sep walk that line of Death and thrash, well, they did back in the day. I was playing " Beneath" and " Arise" the other day wondering to myself why they are not considered " Death Metal". Oh well. I thought the last cd " Quadra" was surprisingly good. I'd stopped listening after Max left. The first few releases with Derek were not my bag.
I would consider this an epic collection. Well done, sir. Well kept as well! 🤘🏼

I dont even know if it is just first pressings, I was online lookin for stuff and what little I could find was priced up real high. Great collection.

and you call this a ‘collection’? Please return when you have a shelves full of cd and lp wide as a wall.
Would be nice but a collection doesn't mean a full library, now does it?
