Very true message. Satan wants to stop believers who pray in tongues. Ever since I started praying in tongues, I had a dream from Satan which showed that I'm in the wrong and praying in Tongues will get me in trouble. I rebuked Satan, and now I have started praying more in Tongues. Want to pray at least 1 hour every day.

This is what Jesus told me about my desire to speak in tongues . He told me not everyone is blessed with the same gift as others. In Luke 24:49, Jesus tells his disciples to wait until they are “clothed with power from on high”. When they waited, what happened? The spoke in tongues. I have been on the mission field in countries that practice witchcraft and met pastors, including Baptists, who cannot cast out demons without praying in tongues. Many Baptists in foreign countries pray in tongues because they cannot fight demonic forces without it. In fact, I witnessed a young man get delivered from demons because people were praying in tongues over him. This young man was addicted to meth and when the demons left, his addiction stopped. You're right about other countries speaking in tongues. Like in Africa I grew in presbeterien church and people speak in tounge there. There's deliverances because there's a lot of demonic forces in Africa. In the US everyone's happy so they feel like they don't need the holy spirit and so they reject it.
It is a wonderful gift...I have been led by Holy Spirit to pray daily in tongues and also to pray for interpretation as the Word of God states. I have rec'd interpretation ….words of knowledge for others, direction on what to do etc. As we go through trials, Holy Spirit led me to pray at least an hour in tongues and that He would fill me with His Perfects words. Since then I also go to listen to other share their experience with this gift to ensure I continue to obey. The flesh is weak but Holy Spirit is willing! I guess when you say that you pray only in tongues, you don't pray with the mind. But note what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 14:15, " I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also." Was Paul doing something wrong?
Praying is not a torture, Jesus our Lord and saviour prayed all night long. It means more than six hours and he advised us to follow him. we spend more time entertaining ourselves which is more fleshy and it add no value to our spiritual life. If you love Jesus you will carry your cross and follow him,this including denying worldly pleasure.
When I pray with a person I feel a calm and loving presence (not expecting it) I don't plan what I'm going to pray but it's effective for both myself the recipient.

Praise Jesus, this has been a direct answer to my needs, because I have slacked off praying in tounges and I have felt many attacked from Satan. During my sleep I am abruptly awakened by an evil spirit coming at me, but I know he can't touch me because I'm covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, so I pray Lord rebuke Satan in the name of Jesus Christ and immediately he flees. My body has been attacked by sickness and different things are happening. This has inspired me to pray more in tounges like I use to and the Lord would show me things in the spirit. Transcript: Satan wants to stop people from praying but especially he wants to prevent them from receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit and being able to pray in tongues, because if you pray Satan is powerless against you. He also knows that if you can pray in tongues, you can now pray all day long, while you are going about your normal life, because when you pray in the Spirit then your mind is unfruitful but your spirit prays. As we read in first Corinthians chapter 14 verse 14, "for if I pray in a tongue my spirit prays but my mind is unfruitful." When you pray satan wants to distract you and he plays on your mind. He puts all kinds of things, thoughts and distractions, in your mind but when you pray in tongues then you pray with the spirit and your mind is unfruitful, so he cannot distract you. Further he does not know what you are praying because you are praying mysteries to God. Paul wrote in 1st Corinthians chapter 14 verse 24, " the one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands but in his spirit he speaks mysteries." So, what mysteries are we praying when we do pray in tongues? The Apostle Paul writes in Romans chapter 8 verse 26, "the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, and He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit because the Spirit intercedes for the Saints according to the will of God." When we pray in tongues the Holy Spirit prays through us and with us according to the will of God. Although we do not understand what we are praying the Holy Spirit intercedes through us according to the will of God and we are edified in our spirit, we are built up in our communion, our relationship with God. We read in 1st Corinthians chapter 14 verse 4, "the one who speaks in a tongue edifies himself but the one who prophesies edifies the church. Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues but even more that you would prophesy; and greater is the one who prophesies than the one who speaks in tongues unless he interprets so that the church may receive edifying." However, you first have to pray in tongues and be edified, be built up in your spirit before you can receive revelation from the Holy Spirit to be able to prophesy. The Apostle Paul further rights in 1st Corinthians chapter 14:18, "I thank God, I speak in tongues more than you all; however in the church I desire to speak five words with my mind so that I might instruct others, rather than 10,000 words in a tongue." We have to be praying in tongues all day, always, so that we are edified and built up so that streams of living water will flow through us and the Holy Spirit will be manifested in and through us. The Holy Spirit manifests in and through the Spirit filled believer, through prophecy, through revelation, through a word of knowledge, through healing, and miraculous working of the Spirit of God. The power of the Holy Spirit is manifested in and through those who are filled with the Holy Spirit and who stay filled with the Holy Spirit. You only stay filled with the Holy Spirit if you pray in the spirit, so that the Spirit of God flows through you, streams of living water that bring life to you, edify you and through you identify the body of Christ. We cannot bear fruit if we are not led by the Spirit of God; we cannot be led by the Spirit of God if the Spirit of God does not dwell in us and flow through us. The only way that the Holy Spirit will flow through us is if we remain in constant prayer in the spirit and keep our relationship our contact with Jesus Christ alive; if we stop praying in the spirit stop communicating with God in the spirit then we become stagnant and unfruitful spiritually passive and spiritually dysfunctional. satan knows that when you continuously praying in tongues he is powerless against you because you are filled with the Holy Spirit power. That is why he discourages people and gets others people to discourage them to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and to pray in the spirit. Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ flowing through them are powerless against satan and that is why they cannot overcome, We need to be praying in the spirit to overcome the wiles of the devil and do the will of God. Are you going to allow satan to disarm you, to steal from you that which God has promised to you; the Holy Spirit power from on-high? Are you going to remain powerless or will you seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ promised to those who obey Him and who wish to follow Him? Are you going to allow Satan to stop you from praying in tongues so that the Spirit of God can flow through you? The choice is yours because the promise is for all those who believe in Jesus Christ and who want to be fruitful in His kingdom. Noland Alexander lust is caused by the spirit of lust. If you are saved, it can be defeated the same way as every other evil spirit. Tell it to go in the name of Jesus! You will have to constantly fight it at first because it will continue to come back but after a while it will get tired of getting whooped and stop bothering you. cooljc26 You are totally wrong! Its a gift. I can use it when ever I want. I surrender my tongue whenever I choose to and the Holy Spirit takes over. I can start whenever I want however, I would be foolish to try and stop him before He is done. There has been times that God wanted to warn me of a certain situation when I was alone and my mouth flew open and a VERY stern foreign language came out while I heard the English translation in my ear. It can be "turned on" whenever a person that has this Gift wants to. That's why Paul gave rules of when to use it because if none believers are in a building full of 10,000 Spirit filled Christians and they all start speaking in their prayer language then the non believer will not hear the gospel. I speak different languages depending on the situation. Sometimes it Mandarin sometimes Serbo-Croatian. Sometimes its a language I Dont recognize. Paul said sometimes it is the language of angels. Do you speak Angel? Do you speak Mandarin? Do you speak Serbo-Croatian? No? Then how can you call it gibberish? That is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost! Speaking in " tongues" has always been speaking in one spiritual language. Initially, speaking in this in this language is the initial evidence that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit.The Holy Spirit baptism IS recieving the Holy Spirit.This first time it is the Spirit testifying through us that owe has been " born of the Spirit" and is our recieving the Spirit.Afterward it is our spiritual prayer language.

I was fooled into thinking it's not from God and anytime I prayed in the spirit I was bugged by a certain voice that was always questions why I was speaking In tongues and even that maybe the unknown tongue I was speaking is not from God but I realized the enemy doesn't want me to pray in tongues. I have rec'd interpretation ….words of knowledge for others, direction on what to do etc. As we go through trials, Holy Spirit led me to pray at least an hour in tongues and that He would fill me with His Perfects words. Since then I also go to listen to other share their experience with this gift to ensure I continue to obey. The flesh is weak but Holy Spirit is willing! Praying is not a torture, Jesus our Lord and saviour prayed all night long. Praise Jesus, this has been a direct answer to my needs, because I have slacked off praying in tounges and I have felt many attacked from Satan. During my sleep I am abruptly awakened by an evil spirit coming at me, but I know he can't touch me because I'm covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, so I pray Lord rebuke Satan in the name of Jesus Christ and immediately he flees. My body has been attacked by sickness and different things are happening. This has inspired me to pray more in tounges like I use to and the Lord would show me things in the spirit. Satan wants to stop people
from praying but especially he wants to prevent them from receiving
the baptism in the Holy Spirit and being able to pray in tongues,
because if you pray Satan is powerless against you. He also knows
that if you can pray in tongues, you can now pray all day long, while
you are going about your normal life, because when you pray in the
Spirit then your mind is unfruitful but your spirit prays.
As we read in first
Corinthians chapter 14 verse 14, "for if I pray in a tongue my
spirit prays but my mind is unfruitful." When you pray satan
wants to distract you and he plays on your mind. He puts all kinds of
things, thoughts and distractions, in your mind but when you pray in
tongues then you pray with the spirit and your mind is unfruitful, so
he
cannot distract you.
Further he does not know
what you are praying because you are praying mysteries to God. Paul
wrote in 1st Corinthians chapter 14 verse 24, " the one who
speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one
understands but in his spirit he speaks mysteries." So, what
mysteries are we praying when we do pray in tongues? The Apostle Paul
writes in Romans chapter 8 verse 26, "the Spirit helps us in our
weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray but the Spirit
Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, and He
who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit because the
Spirit intercedes for the Saints according to the will of God."
When we pray in tongues the Holy Spirit prays through us and
with us according to the
will of God. Although we do not understand what we are praying the
Holy Spirit intercedes through us according to the will of God and we
are edified in our spirit, we are built up in our communion, our
relationship with God. We read in 1st Corinthians chapter 14 verse 4,
"the one who speaks in a tongue edifies himself but the one who
prophesies edifies the church. Now I wish that you all spoke in
tongues but even more that you would prophesy; and greater is the one
who prophesies than the one who speaks in tongues unless he
interprets so that the church may receive edifying." However,
you first have to pray in tongues and be edified, be built up in your
spirit before you can receive revelation from the Holy Spirit to be
able to prophesy. The Apostle Paul further rights in 1st Corinthians
chapter 14:18, "I thank God, I speak in tongues more than you
all; however in the church I desire to speak five words with my mind
so that I might instruct others, rather than 10,000 words in a
tongue." We have to be praying in tongues all day, always, so
that we are edified and built up so that streams of living water will
flow through us and the Holy Spirit will be manifested in and through
us. The Holy Spirit manifests in and through the Spirit filled
believer, through prophecy, through revelation, through a word of
knowledge, through healing, and miraculous working of the Spirit of
God. The power of the Holy Spirit is manifested in and through those
who are filled with the Holy Spirit and who stay filled with the Holy
Spirit. You only stay filled with the Holy Spirit if you pray in the
spirit, so that the Spirit of God flows through you, streams of
living water that bring life to you, edify you and through you
identify the body of Christ. We cannot bear fruit if we are not led
by the Spirit of God; we cannot be led by the Spirit of God if the
Spirit of God does not dwell in us and flow through us.
The only way that the Holy
Spirit will flow through us is if we remain in constant prayer in the
spirit and keep our relationship our contact with Jesus Christ alive;
if we stop praying in the spirit stop communicating with God in the
spirit then we become stagnant and unfruitful spiritually passive and
spiritually dysfunctional. satan knows that when you continuously
praying in tongues he is powerless against you because you are filled
with the Holy Spirit power. That is why he discourages people and
gets others people to discourage them to be baptized in the Holy
Spirit and to pray in the spirit. Those who do not have the Spirit of
Christ flowing through them are powerless against satan and that is
why they cannot overcome, We need to be praying in the spirit to
overcome the wiles of the devil and do the will of God. Are you going
to allow satan to disarm you, to steal from you that which God has
promised to you; the Holy Spirit power from on-high?
Are you going to remain
powerless or will you seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit that
Jesus Christ promised to those who obey Him and who wish to follow
Him? Are you going to allow Satan to stop you from praying in tongues
so that the Spirit of God can flow through you? The choice is yours
because the promise is for all those who believe in Jesus Christ and
who want to be fruitful in His kingdom. Choose today whether you will
be an overcomer or whether you will be defeated by satan.

Noland Alexander lust is caused by the spirit of lust. If you are saved, it can be defeated the same way as every other evil spirit. Tell it to go in the name of Jesus! You will have to constantly fight it at first because it will continue to come back but after a while it will get tired of getting whooped and stop bothering you. You are totally wrong! Its a gift. I can use it when ever I want. I surrender my tongue whenever I choose to and the Holy Spirit takes over. I can start whenever I want however, I would be foolish to try and stop him before He is done. There has been times that God wanted to warn me of a certain situation when I was alone and my mouth flew open and a VERY stern foreign language came out while I heard the English translation in my ear.
It can be "turned on" whenever a person that has this Gift wants to. That's why Paul gave rules of when to use it because if none believers are in a building full of 10,000 Spirit filled Christians and they all start speaking in their prayer language then the non believer will not hear the gospel. I speak different languages depending on the situation. Sometimes it Mandarin sometimes Serbo-Croatian. Sometimes its a language I Dont recognize. Paul said sometimes it is the language of angels. Do you speak Angel? Do you speak Mandarin? Do you speak Serbo-Croatian? No? Then how can you call it gibberish? That is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost! I would suggest that you fast and pray and ask God to show you the truth because Satan has hidden the truth from so many church leaders who have in turn deceived many. Seek out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Trust no man. Only our Heavenly Father.
