My brother, I say this to say, don't limit the power of the Holy Spirit, His ministry. And please don't be deceived that tongues are not real.
If you desire to know, ask the LORD. He will show you.
Remember, Saul was persecuting the church thinking he was righteous, thinking that what they were doing was not real or ridiculous, or even demonic. But yet brother, when he had an experience with JESUS his eyes were opened to see truth.

My sister had cancer, one year to live. I prayed in tongues for her, 12 hours straight, in tongues,no stopping, no breaks, out of pure desperation+big faith
What happened?
Jesus walked into her hospital room, looked her straight in the eyes; and said: “my daughter, your faith has made you whole.” Jesus turned around, walked 7 steps away and vanished out of my sisters sight.
My sister was instantly heal and pulled her IV’s out, got out of bed and ran down the halls of the hospital, shouting. “Jesus healed me.”
The next day the reports of the blood work can in. No cancer in her blood, no cancer in her bone marrow!!!
15 years later, every time my sister closes her eyes, she sees that image of Jesus, looking at her. She is still healed to this day.

I remembered asking the Lord few times in prayers that I wanted this gift of speaking in tongues but I didn't received it straight away. I was a bit of discouraged cos I thought it wasn't for me and it's not my gift but for others.
I remembered when my daughter was under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, something came out of her mouth and she said that some from our family will receive a gift of speaking in tongues apart from my daughter. I was thinking, oh who will be the one? In my spirit I had a strong feeling that it will be me. And it came true it was me. But before I spoke in tongues, I had a dream that I was speaking in tongues and it is true.
Few pastors prayed over me to receive the gift but I couldn't. I only speak a little bit but it was only dddddddddd..... That's all I could speak.
One night, I was really asking the Lord from my heart that I needed to speak in tongues and what happened, while I was praying and to keep glorifying God for about 15 minutes or more than that, I started to speak in tongues and the words just flow like never before. I felt fire all over my body, and I was crying and laugh and cry. It was such a joy to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and it really strengthen me with my walk with Jesus Christ. It was abt three or four hrs I was under the baptism of the Holy Spirit and I knew that I was gonna spend whole night speaking in tongues but my husband was tired on that night. We went to rest and early in the morning when we woke up for our morning prayers, I could feel the presence of the Lord and before we started to pray, my mouth and my tongue couldn't stop from speaking in an unknown languages. Wow! It was an amazing feeling, and it's such a joy in my heart. I praise the Lord for this gift and I want to glorify Him every single day. He's real and his love is real.

A few years ago..when i prayed a lot in tongues..a pillar if swirling smoke appeared in the middle of my room at night.another time it was a ball of fire suspended in mid air.both times i was asleep..someone (i think was an angel) work me up to witness this...ms cj68 of 🇲🇾

@@SilentValley2023 praying in tongues is a spiritual gift that allow us humans to talk directly to God with no angels involve in an unknown language a.k.a other tongues, that give us the advantage over Satan and his demons since they don't have that gift. Really, we are the only spiritual beings that can pray in tongues which is actually a privilege if you think about it. When you pray a regular prayer usually Satan try to prevent our prayer to reach God. (Daniel 10:10-14) but with praying in tongues, Satan can stop it which give us the edge.
Shaken not stirred ..What do you mean, “I produces nothing”? If so, why would anyone pray in tongues... of course PIT is productive & powerful... Jesus doesn’t give gifts that are meaningless. It has greater benefits than just selfishly building one’s faith..!

Well, when I speak in tongues I see flashes of light as I doze off and I always end up having vivid dreams, sometimes I get faint images when I close my eyes. I also got lot of jobs interview calls the following day including intel and amazon for a software developer position. Maybe it is different for other people :)

Tongues are really sometimes you feel the atmosphere changes. It brings a different atmosphere for the Holy spirit to be conducive

I used to ask God for this gift and last year on the 14 of July I received it when Apostle G Maldonado was praying on faith tv for those who are hungry for this gift.

I was praying in tongues before more like copying what others where praying but when it’s happened for real my experience was u have no control of your lips anymore it’s like someone is opening your lips and speaking u don’t need to know what u will say next it just happens every thing so quick sometimes I cry and laugh while praying in toungues it’s all different feeling the spirit prays through u I love it I don’t understand when I pray in tongues but am praying God gives me that understanding in Jesus name

It's an act of faith. I'd recommend in prayer ask & study regarding the gifting and listen to sermons on it..favorably anointed ones. They usually impart in their sermons so you'll receive it in faith and trust God to practice it. I've been desiring to speak in tongues for months until I got fed up and exercised it in faith...the more I pushed myself in faith I was able to grasp syllables then it goes on as you practice. All we have to do from our end is ask and believe. In Jesus name you will . Faith is all it takes

Naresh Badala 6. If you are a child of God, when a prophet speaks, you must say with humility: "Lord, if it is I who do not understand, enlighten me", but you must not argue. It is sin and curse that can make someone argue with a prophet. And if someone is a homosexual or masturbates or has sex outside of marriage or comes near his wife from behind like an animal or puts his mouth on the intimate parts of his spouse, then when a prophet like me speaks, he must keep quiet in respect to God and God will have mercy on him.

Speaking in tongues is awesome. It's so super natural once you receive it, and it is received by faith. The way I was taught, is that we first receive the Holy Spirit subjectively, inwardly, but our objective later, is to manifest it, so what we wanted to do, was receive it objectively, as an objective to accomplish, and this is not by our natural human ability alone, though natural human ability is also involved. The Holy Spirit is the helper, but we are the doers. We do the speaking but what we speak is given by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God gets the difficult part, the 'what to say' part. We get the easy part, the speaking part.
If that sounds difficult, it's only because you have not yet received into manifestation the gift (which is the ability) of speaking in tongues. To receive it into manifestation, it must become your spiritual objective, through faith, which is also a gift of God's grace, and it comes by hearing the word of God. Faith doesn't come by hearing what men say, when what men say is contrary to the word of God. That is perhaps the most common problem among some people. They have listened to men, instead of what the word of God says, so how can they have faith that way? They have to repent of anything that might hinder them, and only hear what the word of God says and the testimony of people whom God sends their way, who have honest, true, and clear testimony of the truth they have received.
I was fortunate to have been a part of a home bible fellowship which met at least 3 times a week, and every time we met, we heard speaking in tongues with interpretation, at least by 2 and sometimes by 3 different people, each one first speaking in tongues a bit, and then going right into the interpretation which was edification to us, by exhortation and comfort by the words the Holy Spirit teaches.
Not everyone has had that advantage I had. I wish they did. I heard the different tongues. I heard the natural (super) flow. It was as Jesus promised, rivers of living water. Rivers always flow, as long as they have plenty of water, right? And the water comes down from somewhere up above, right? It's what rivers do, and as long as they flow, there is plenty of water, right? As long as rivers flow, they never run dry, right?
I have wondered if Jesus spoke in tongues, and as I was reading the first 13 verses of Luke 11, this is where I really began to wonder. I can not prove to you that he did, it's just that I do wonder about it when I read this part of scripture, because the answer he gives to his disciples question, is so appropriate for anybody who wants to pray in this new way. I say this to legitimately encourage someone. I say this because I believe it is always good to look unto Jesus for everything, and as long as the Bible doesn't say that something didn't happen, I trust that I have the freedom to wonder about it, especially when it seems to be a possibility anyway, and I have seen what some people have received because they had hope. They were not ashamed. God provided. I believe he saw their hope, and perhaps he delighted in it.
So go ahead, be amazed at what you can find on speaking in tongues from the Bible, and when you are ready, ask, seek, knock and just don't quit. I have heard stories of men who have traveled hundreds of miles to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, (speaking in tongues) and they went to someone who had it, and they determined to pray all night until they got it....and they did.
It doesn't have to take all night, but for some, maybe that's what it took. If you really want something, maybe it won't matter so much what it takes for you to receive it. Everything we get, we get because of the cross Jesus suffered and died on. It's all because of that cross.

It shocks me how many church denominations here in Britain don't believe in tongues or that the Lord has apostles prophets fivefold ministry today. I was in town centre where I live in darlington England and preachers here don't believe in this I mentioned to them that I believe in tongues and the voice of the prophetic I pray for the holy spirit to wake up the churches here in jesus name 🙏
