If u look at the children of israel they wandered through the desert 40 years because they werent being obeidiant. and also God told the israelites that if they would be diligent in obeying Gods voice that He would quickly subdue there enemies. so that just tells me that the more obediant i am to obey God the sooner He can accompish things in my life but if we want to not be diligent it may take many years...
Michael Quintana Yes that is very true. If we want to receive Gods promises and his favor we must be obedient, committed and sincere in repentance. Or not we will just keep going round and round till we finally surrender fully. Sometimes God doesn't answer prayers bc people want to live in their sinful lifestyles and want to receive the favor of God. It doesn't work that way God says it in his word seek the kingdom of God first and all these other things shall be added on to you. Seeking the Lord everyday. When I read the Bible I received the Holy Spirit. I would even put my hand on the Bible my hand would turn red and hot when I touched the Bible. I received a gift from God the Father. I hear scripture all day long. When something happens I will remember the scripture that helps overcome and even in small circumstances. Like when even I throw leftover food out, I remember imediately, Jesus saying," Let no food go to wast!" When I meet certain people who I think are nice, I remember scripture saying, "beware of wolves who come in sheep's clothing." Even when I think may be I've made God mad and I feel ashamed or a situation of that nature, I remember Jesus saying" He who comes to me, I will in no means cast away." When I get mad or I feel taken advantage of, I remember Jesus saying, " Let those who want to be chief among you, be the servant. And he that wants to be chief among you be a slave. Because I came not to be served but to serve, and give My life for a ransom for Many." My mind dwells on the Lord from morning until night. I really enjoyed your video. I don't go to church at all. I just seek God and research the Bible nearly everyday. When I tried going to church, I found that most preachers treat people like they are ignorant. They will talk about one scripture for an hour. Well at that rate you might get the Book of Mathew read in 20 years. Plus the people to me don't even want to talk about God once they leave the church. Great message. I felt the Holy Spirit moving. You're absolutely right. I believe another problem people struggle with is learning to sit still for long periods of time, or at least, I noticed that with me. I'm a new Christian so I think God understands that I don't know Him as well as a mature Christian. It's amazing that a mustard seed of faith can move mountains, so the Holy Spirit lets me always have at least that 1% of faith and my prayers still get answered. They're all prayers to strengthen my faith and my relationship with Him too, so they're definitely not selfish prayers or not in His will.

Transcript: Most believers do not know what it means to wait on the Lord for an answer if they have prayed and asked Him for something. The reason why they do not know how to wait on the Lord and to expect Him to answer their prayer is because they do not really believe that He is alive, that He hears their prayers and that He will answer. The apostle James wrote in James chapter 1 verse 5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him, But we must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." If we do not go to Jesus in prayer believing and expecting that our prayer will be answered, we will receive nothing. We also read in Hebrews chapter 11:6, "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Many people say that they have prayed and they asked Jesus for the Holy Spirit and they have not received it. They ask, how long must they wait after they have prayed. We read what Jesus said to His disciples in Acts chapter 1:4 "for He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which ," He said "you heard from Me; for John baptized with water but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Verse 12 "then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away. When they had entered the city they went into the upper room where they were staying; that is Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, Judas the son of James. These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the woman, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.' They were continually devoting themselves to prayer, waiting expectantly praying, they did not go away. They were expectantly waiting and praying and then they received the gift that God had promised the infilling with the Holy Spirit. They were not just having fellowship, sitting around having coffee, having a good time like they would have today at church, just being with Christian friends watching television drinking coffee, eating doughnuts, having a good time, a good old party. No, they came together you pray to wait on the Lord and then they received what He promised. If we go to God we must go in faith, we must believe that He IS, we must have our focus on Him and we must pray with a serious heart or else we will receive nothing. When I first realized that Jesus Christ wants to speak to us, wants to speak to me, He said:"My sheep listen to My voice and they follow Me," I said Lord, speak to me, I want to hear Your voice, and I set my mind on hearing from God. I went alone and I prayed. I said lord I don't want to eat, I don't want to drink, I don't want to read the Bible, I don't want to hear from anybody else, I want to you from You and I waited on Him. I prayed and He answered me, He spoke to me. If we want to hear from Jesus we have to believe that He exists; we have to go to Him in faith expectantly and wait on Him. If we pray and we ask Him for something we must not give up, we must go with a mind of receiving, with a mind of believing and we must stay focused on him expectantly and not give up, because if we do not believe, if we are not willing to wait on Him until he gives what we asked, if we are not patiently waiting on Him expectantly; we will receive nothing! People ask how long do you have to pray? How long do you have to wait? You have to wait UNTIL you receive. You have to expectantly wait until He answers your prayer, until he gives you what you asked for. But if you give up then you will receive nothing, if you are not serious you will receive nothing. Do you really believe and are you willing to wait for the answer? If you do, then go to Jesus and He will answer you. If you want guidance and wisdom, pray and ask, and wait until He answers. If you want the baptism in the Holy Spirit, go and pray and wait on Him. Don't give up, He will answer your prayer and your joy will be full. He rewards those who diligently seek Him. An answered prayer doesn't always mean getting what you want does it? What if God doesn't want us to have what we are praying for? I pray for things and I can tell God is listening and then not get what I pray about. Other times I pray and I feel like He isn't there. I have a lot of work I still have to do. I'll take any solid advice but I know I need to pray a lot.
I have never been baptized, at least not by man. I was baptized by the holy spirit himself in one of my darkest hours as i will later explain to you later on in this comment. I come from a strong believing family in God the Father, Son and Holy spirit. When we were younger, we always attended sunday school and church every sunday, (until i found out once i was grown that the sabbath is actually friday sundown to Saturday sundown),and took turns having the reverend over after services to our homes. I also saw no matter what astronomical tragedy befell our family, the good Lord always brought us out way ahead every single time. Now we weren't fanatically outwardly religious, but our belief in GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT was and still is unwavering. However, i say all this to say, as i got older, i kind of drifted away from him for awhile, but never completely. I Grew up, and kinda strayed away from the straight and narrow path from time to time (but he never strayed away from me). No it was nothing illegal or vile, as my upbringing would have no part of that. Just typical partying, hanging out etc. Well i was extremely close to my parents. My mom and dad were my first best friends! When we learned my dad was not long for this world i believed that if i could find a church to pray in God would hear my plea and answer my prayer. But out of all 3 churches i went to they refused me access. It was at night during the Christmas Season and Christmas music was playing everywhere. It all seemed so surreal given the music and the plight of my dad's situation. I returned home, made a make-shift alter on top of my fireplace mantel and prayed my guts out. My heart was heavy as a water balloon and my tears soaked my face until it swelled twice it's normal size. After I'd poured out my heart-rendering prayer to my Lord, i proceeded to the bathroom feeling as weak as water, to freshen up and wipe the tears from my face. As i stood facing the mirror and pondering what life would be like without my dad, i closed my eyes, and that's when i heard it! The Lords voice speaking to me unmistakably, undeniably and un questionably saying "DON'T WORRY ABOUT A THING, EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT"!! from that moment to this, that I'm writing this comment everything has been alright. Don't misunderstand me please, I've undergone worse trials and tribulations than that of losing my dad, but he's prepared me in each trial not to fear the unknown and to go forth with confidence for he will be with me , and to look forward to coming out better than i went in, and i have! You see it can't be my will, or your will or even their will, but it must be "HIS WILL BE DONE", for only he can see ahead and knows whats best for us. The Holy spirit teaches me and leads me in everything i do. I still make plenty mistakes, but he is patient and understanding! I judge no one, for that duty belongs to the most high and to him alone! He knows the heart and minds of each and every one of us. So Be truthful, genuine, and pure in heart when you come to him and you will hear him too!! God Bless you all! PS Brothers and sisters, when you get a feeling that something feels wrong or is not right, or anything you have to do in secret, or in darkness, it's the HOLY SPIRIT leading you to into the light! I still go through my share of valleys but I'm more at peace with my inner self and not bothered as much! Its not that i refuse to be baptized, thats exactly what i do want more than anything else. Just couldn't take all the hoops these so-called clergymen wants you to jump through in order to get baptized! For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38! Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life. That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures. We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures, and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOO long to be WRONG! St, John 5:39, search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ paid the full price for our salvation. If we refuse to come to him and obey Acts 2:38 as they did, how shall we receive his salvation? Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. We must believe and obey Acts 2:38. All scriptures have to harmonize together..
You need to ask the Lord before you marry anyone. Trust me. Some people are married and do not even know it, to try to be with them is adultery. God does not carry about the certificates of priests and government officials. They have their rules, and God has His. But if you ask him, he will tell you. But don't just worry about what is permissable, ask Him for what is best.
The reason i don't get baptized is #1- man wants you to jump through too many hoops and make much outward appearances for the sake of religious ceremonies, #2- It is written that anyone who will profess with his heart and voice aloud his belief of The great "I Am" that his son made flesh, was born into this world, died for our sins, and rose from death in order that we might have everlasting life, and that they may be saved from the second death, and #3- he himself the "Saviour" spoke to me and sent the Holy spirit himself to dwell within me in 12/1988, and hes never left my side since then! So you see my friend, i know whose i am, and i know I'm saved. Sure i still mistakes now and again, however, i notice that they are not as many or as frequent and i do feel unclean but i do beg his forgiveness as soon as they are comitted, and he understandsthat we being carnal will err now and again! Thats why he forgives us and asks of us to do the of our fellow man! You see, the Holy Spirit guides me daily, and watches over me and my family when we slumber. And no man can ever convince me I'm not saved when i heard it from the almighty himself that all will be well. Anyone can profess to believe with their mouths, however, its the heart and the mind that the Lord sees!
Dear friend, our case is with Jesus, not with men. If we still feel the need to justify ourselves before men, then we are not seeking the approval of Jesus. You will give account to Jesus for refusing to obey Him and be baptized.
If you *believed* Jesus, would you not *do what he says?* I received the Holy Spirit before being baptised, too. But I still got baptised when I realized that that was what God asked for. Does not God know best? He doesn't have to threaten me with hell for everything, we should just trust him.

I'm a new Christian so I think God understands that I don't know Him as well as a mature Christian. It's amazing that a mustard seed of faith can move mountains, so the Holy Spirit lets me always have at least that 1% of faith and my prayers still get answered. They're all prayers to strengthen my faith and my relationship with Him too, so they're definitely not selfish prayers or not in His will.

Most believers do not know
what it means to wait on the Lord for an answer if they have prayed
and asked Him for something. The reason why they do not know how to
wait on the Lord and to expect Him to answer their prayer is because
they do not really believe that He is alive, that He hears their
prayers and that He will answer. They do not really believe.
The apostle James wrote in
James chapter 1 verse 5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let
him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and
it will be given to him, But we must ask in faith without any
doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven
and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will
receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable
in all his ways." If we do not go to Jesus in prayer believing
and expecting that our prayer will be answered, we will receive
nothing. We also read in Hebrews chapter 11:6, "And without
faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must
believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."
Many people say that they have prayed and they asked Jesus for the
Holy Spirit and they have not received it. They ask, how long must
they wait after they have prayed. We read what Jesus said to His
disciples in Acts chapter 1:4 "for He commanded them not to
leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which
," He said "you heard from Me; for John baptized with water
but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from
now." Verse 12 "then they returned to Jerusalem from the
mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey
away. When they had entered the city they went into the upper room
where they were staying; that is Peter and John and James and Andrew,
Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus,
Simon the Zealot, Judas the son of James. These all with one mind
were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the woman,
and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.'
They were continually
devoting themselves to prayer, waiting expectantly praying, they did
not go away. They waited, they waited expectantly and then we read in
acts chapter 22 verse 1, "When the day of Pentecost had come,
they were all together in one place, and suddenly there came from
heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole
house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as
of fire distributing themselves and they rested on each one of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with
other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance." They were
expectantly waiting and praying and then they received the gift that
God had promised the infilling with the Holy Spirit. They were not
just having fellowship, sitting around having coffee, having a good
time like they would have today at church, just being with Christian
friends watching television drinking coffee, eating doughnuts, having
a good time, a good old party. No, they came together you pray to
wait on the Lord and then they received what He promised.
If we go to God we must go
in faith, we must believe that He IS, we must have our focus on Him
and we must pray with a serious heart or else we will receive
nothing. When I first realized that Jesus Christ wants to speak to
us, wants to speak to me, He said:"My sheep listen to My voice
and they follow Me," I said Lord, speak to me, I want to hear
Your voice, and I set my mind on hearing from God. I went alone and I
prayed. I said lord I don't want to eat, I don't want to drink, I
don't want to read the Bible, I don't want to hear from anybody else,
I want to you from You and I waited on Him. I prayed and He answered
me, He spoke to me.
If we want to hear from
Jesus we have to believe that He exists; we have to go to Him in
faith expectantly and wait on Him. If we pray and we ask Him for
something we must not give up, we must go with a mind of receiving,
with a mind of believing and we must stay focused on him expectantly
and not give up, because if we do not believe, if we are not willing
to wait on Him until he gives what we asked, if we are not patiently
waiting on Him expectantly; we will receive nothing!
People ask how long do you
have to pray? How long do you have to wait? You have to wait UNTIL
you receive. You have to expectantly wait until He answers your
prayer, until he gives you what you asked for. But if you give up
then you will receive nothing, if you are not serious you will
receive nothing.
Do you really believe and
are you willing to wait for the answer? If you do, then go to Jesus
and He will answer you. If you want guidance and wisdom, pray and
ask, and wait until He answers. If you want the baptism in the Holy
Spirit, go and pray and wait on Him. Don't give up, He will answer
your prayer and your joy will be full. He rewards those who
diligently seek Him.

An answered prayer doesn't always mean getting what you want does it? What if God doesn't want us to have what we are praying for? I pray for things and I can tell God is listening and then not get what I pray about. Other times I pray and I feel like He isn't there. I have a lot of work I still have to do. I'll take any solid advice but I know I need to pray a lot.

I have never been baptized, at least not by man. I was baptized by the holy spirit himself in one of my darkest hours as i will later explain to you later on in this comment. I come from a strong believing family in God the Father, Son and Holy spirit. When we were younger, we always attended sunday school and church every sunday, (until i found out once i was grown that the sabbath is actually friday sundown to Saturday sundown),and took turns having the reverend over after services to our homes. I also saw no matter what astronomical tragedy befell our family, the good Lord always brought us out way ahead every single time. Now we weren't fanatically outwardly religious, but our belief in GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT was and still is unwavering. However, i say all this to say, as i got older, i kind of drifted away from him for awhile, but never completely. I Grew up, and kinda strayed away from the straight and narrow path from time to time (but he never strayed away from me). No it was nothing illegal or vile, as my upbringing would have no part of that. Just typical partying, hanging out etc. Well i was extremely close to my parents. My mom and dad were my first best friends! When we learned my dad was not long for this world i believed that if i could find a church to pray in God would hear my plea and answer my prayer. But out of all 3 churches i went to they refused me access. It was at night during the Christmas Season and Christmas music was playing everywhere. It all seemed so surreal given the music and the plight of my dad's situation. I returned home, made a make-shift alter on top of my fireplace mantel and prayed my guts out. My heart was heavy as a water balloon and my tears soaked my face until it swelled twice it's normal size. After I'd poured out my heart-rendering prayer to my Lord, i proceeded to the bathroom feeling as weak as water, to freshen up and wipe the tears from my face. As i stood facing the mirror and pondering what life would be like without my dad, i closed my eyes, and that's when i heard it! The Lords voice speaking to me unmistakably, undeniably and un questionably saying "DON'T WORRY ABOUT A THING, EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT"!! from that moment to this, that I'm writing this comment everything has been alright. Don't misunderstand me please, I've undergone worse trials and tribulations than that of losing my dad, but he's prepared me in each trial not to fear the unknown and to go forth with confidence for he will be with me , and to look forward to coming out better than i went in, and i have! You see it can't be my will, or your will or even their will, but it must be "HIS WILL BE DONE", for only he can see ahead and knows whats best for us. The Holy spirit teaches me and leads me in everything i do. I still make plenty mistakes, but he is patient and understanding! I judge no one, for that duty belongs to the most high and to him alone! He knows the heart and minds of each and every one of us. So Be truthful, genuine, and pure in heart when you come to him and you will hear him too!! God Bless you all!

Brothers and sisters, when you get a feeling that something feels wrong or is not right, or anything you have to do in secret, or in darkness, it's the HOLY SPIRIT leading you to into the light! There is no such thing as sixth sense, coincidence, luck, third eye etc. Only good and evil! Choose your side, for there is no in-between!

No i haven't. However, i and the lord speak daily and nightly. I'm guided by his wisdom, discernment and his will. And I've never been more at peace. I still go through my share of valleys but I'm more at peace with my inner self and not bothered as much! Its not that i refuse to be baptized, thats exactly what i do want more than anything else. Just couldn't take all the hoops these so-called clergymen wants you to jump through in order to get baptized! Jesus baptized crowds of sinners first timers who just came to listen on day (1) who were not of the church, who are they to judge whose fit or not to be baptized??

Действительно ли ты веришь и готов ожидать ответа? Если - да, тогда иди к Иисусу, и Он ответит тебе. Если ты хочешь водительства и мудрости, молись и проси, и ожидай, пока Он ответит. Если ты хочешь крещения в Святом Духе, иди и молись, и ожидай Его. Не сдавайся, Он ответит на твою молитву, и твоя радость будет полной. Он вознаграждает тех, кто усердно (серьёзно) ищет Его.

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts?
They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38!
Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life.
That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures.
We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans.
Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures, and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOO long to be WRONG! St, John 5:39, search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH
If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ paid the full price for our salvation. If we refuse to come to him and obey Acts 2:38 as they did, how shall we receive his salvation?
Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. We must believe and obey Acts 2:38. All scriptures have to harmonize together..

You need to ask the Lord before you marry anyone. Trust me. Some people are married and do not even know it, to try to be with them is adultery.
God does not carry about the certificates of priests and government officials. They have their rules, and God has His.
But if you ask him, he will tell you. But don't just worry about what is permissable, ask Him for what is best.
The reason i don't get baptized is #1- man wants you to jump through too many hoops and make much outward appearances for the sake of religious ceremonies, #2- It is written that anyone who will profess with his heart and voice aloud his belief of The great "I Am" that his son made flesh, was born into this world, died for our sins, and rose from death in order that we might have everlasting life, and that they may be saved from the second death, and #3- he himself the "Saviour" spoke to me and sent the Holy spirit himself to dwell within me in 12/1988, and hes never left my side since then! So you see my friend, i know whose i am, and i know I'm saved. Sure i still mistakes now and again, however, i notice that they are not as many or as frequent and i do feel unclean but i do beg his forgiveness as soon as they are comitted, and he understandsthat we being carnal will err now and again! Thats why he forgives us and asks of us to do the of our fellow man! You see, the Holy Spirit guides me daily, and watches over me and my family when we slumber. And no man can ever convince me I'm not saved when i heard it from the almighty himself that all will be well. Anyone can profess to believe with their mouths, however, its the heart and the mind that the Lord sees!
Dear friend, our case is with Jesus, not with men. If we still feel the need to justify ourselves before men, then we are not seeking the approval of Jesus. You will give account to Jesus for refusing to obey Him and be baptized.

I received the Holy Spirit before being baptised, too. But I still got baptised when I realized that that was what God asked for. Does not God know best? He doesn't have to threaten me with hell for everything, we should just trust him.
