- On a surveillance mission in a primordial forest, a park ranger encounters two survivalists following a post-apocalyptic lifestyle. The boy and his philosophical father seem to have their own religion, and a mysterious relationship to nature. There are many suspicious aspects to their existence, but when the cabin is attacked by strange, post-human beings one night, she learns that there is a greater threat in this emergent wilderness. #Gaia

Definitely a couple resto druids.
This started off ok as a lost in the woods monster flick but after the first 30 minutes or so it slows down completely and becomes more and more artsy. It's not a bad movie but I think it would have been better if it had just stuck to being a monster flick.
One really bad thing is the creature design. Lots of people say this movie stole the idea from The Last of Us but that game did not invent the fungus idea, it's actually something that already exists in nature. What this movie does do however is steal a lot of the aesthetic of the monsters from the game both in looks and the sounds they made.
But Gaia Ian't a monster. To the Greeks she was the primordial goddess, Mother Earth, mother of all, formed from chaos
No one says it stole the idea from the last of us. It just stole the visual design, behaviors, and sounds of the creatures in the last of us.
It looks more like Stranger things to me:The forest represents the upside down,The monster behaves like a demogorgon,The boy,I forgot his name,acts and look like eleven,when they got the main character into a trans it looked like the scene where eleven was in a bath and after she wakes up,there's blood coming from her nose

Gaia is basically a forest spirit. Almost like Nature itself. So i am assuming it starts infecting them and turning them into treefolk.

This girl was SO ANNOYING IN THIS MOVIE! It was making me angry, wishing she'd get taken out the entire time.
While the rapidly growing fungi looks fantastic and is a very cool effect I haven't seen before, the fungi person is one of the most annoying tropes. The amount of times I've seen fungi people in media is annoying me. Can we please come up with a new monster?

А ЧТО ИМЕЕТ СМЫСЛ в этом фильме. Два момента. ПЕРВЫЙ. Да именно души людей, которые после смерти В АДУ стали демонами мучители разных порочных страстей, устанавливают свою ИЕРАРХИЮ что ОСНОВАНА НА СЕКСУАЛЬНОМ НАСИЛИИ ДРУГ ДРУГА. И то что В «ПОСЛЕДНИЕ ВРЕМЕНА» те люди которые останутся в ЖИВЫХ будут мечтать о смерти, хотя им бы НАДО ВОЗБЛАГОДАРИТЬ БОГА за это. И ВОТ как БЫЛО БЫ ХОРОШО, ЧТОБЫ КАЖДЫЙ зритель ПОНИМАЛ это. НО ЭТО очень «глубокие» моменты, ПОНЯТЬ которые МОЖНО будет ТОЛЬКО ЧИТАЯ, И ГЛАВНОЕ, ИЗУЧАЯ КНИГУ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ.
А ПОЧЕМУ мы ВСЕ БОЛЬНЫ. После ГРЕХОПАДЕНИЯ АДАМА и ЕВЫ они были ИЗГНАНЫ ИЗ РАЯ. ДО грехопадения они ЖИЛИ В РАЮ подобно АНГЕЛАМ. После, БОГ одел их в «одежды» что значит в тела, и ДАЛ ЗАПОВЕДЬ «ПЛОДИТЕСЬ и РАЗМНОЖАЙТЕСЬ» и заселяйте Землю. НО для размножения, В ПОЛОВЫЕ ОТНОШЕНИЯ ПРИХОДИЛОСЬ ВСТУПАТЬ БРАТУ С СЕСТРОЙ. И ЭТО было вызвано необходимостью а НЕ ПОХОТЬЮ. И ВОТ ПОЧЕМУ КАЖДЫЙ рождающийся ребёнок уже ГРЕШЕН. Только не физическое(физическое если вызвано похотью, между родными братьями и сёстрами), а так называемое ПЕРВОРОДНОЕ (ДУХОВНОЕ , ПРИЧИНА которого ГРЕХОПАДЕНИЕ) ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЕ(ГРЕХ, ПОРОЧНАЯ СТРАСТЬ) НА КАЖДОМ человеке при рождении. И У КАЖДОГО человека своя СОБСТВЕННАЯ СТРАСТЬ. И ЭТО БОЛЕЗНЬ, но БОЛЕЗНЬ прежде всего ДУХОВНОГО ПЛАНА. И именно ПОРОЧНЫЕ СТРАСТИ людей являются ПРИЧИНОЙ ВСЕХ БЕД, СТРАДАНИЙ, и РАЗРУШИТЕЛЬНЫХ ДЕЙСТВИЙ на Земле. А вот условия ОСВОБОЖДЕНИЯ ОТ этого ПЕРВОРОДНОГО ГРЕХА(ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЯ, СТРАСТИ) как раз и ЗАПИСАНЫ в КНИГЕ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯТОМ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. НО СНАЧАЛА , чтобы донести их людям, сам СЫН, БОГ СЛОВО ВОЧЕЛОВЕЧИЛСЯ(ИИСУС ХРИСТОС, имя ИИСУС означает СПАСИТЕЛЬ). А ЕГО за это РАСПЯЛИ. Но ОСТАЛОСЬ СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. Ну И ЕСЛИ каждый человек захочет "БОРОТЬСЯ" СО своими ПОРОЧНЫМИ СТРАСТЯМИ, ТО для начала, НУЖНО ПОВЕРИТЬ В БОГА, ПРЕСВЯТУЮ ТРОИЦУ: ОТЦА(СОЗДАТЕЛЯ ВСЕГО ЖИВОГО И НЕ ЖИВОГО, ВИДИМОГО мира и НЕВИДИМОГО),через СЫНА БОГА СЛОВО(ИИСУСА ХРИСТА), СВЯТОГО ДУХА.
А ЧТОБЫ "ПРИЙТИ" к БОГУ или ПОЗНАТЬ БОГА необходимо ПОКАЯНИЕ.
