Well, to me it also seemed cowardly from Palpatine’s side because he didn’t want to be responsible for his own betrayal. Like he knew he was so much of a bastard that he didn’t even pay respect for his old apprentice.

Palpatine said that so that Anakin would hesitate to kill him when he revealed he was a Sith, and would remember that the Jedi way is to not kill unarmed prisoners, and thus would fight to keep him alive long enough that he could beat the Jedi by using the government to kill them.
Obi-Wan: Darth Sidious is the Sith lord who orchestrated the Clone Wars and have played both sides from the beginning. I've first learned the name from Count Dooku, though any chance learning more about Sidious from Dooku has been lost. Ahsoka: Why? Obi-Wan: Because Count Dooku is dead, Anakin killed him while rescuing the Chancellor. With Dooku gone we've lost a vital link to understanding the mystery of Darth Sidious.
Ahsoka is just Feloni's self inserted fan fic character rendering this entire franchise garbage and a ploy for Disney to sell you more of their merchandise and crap.

It's the little things you captured so well that sells this way harder than it was in life action. The eyebrows on Dooku as he thought he had a chance of getting out of this alive, the little eye movements of Anakin that showed he hesitated before Palatine made him give into temptation. And the fact Palatine looks goddamn ANCIENT with all that detail. Good stuff, looks like it could have easily come right from the source art style....
I love how Doge puts further emphasis on the Palpatine looks when he's being deceptive. Just makes the scene and Sidious all the more cunningly brilliant I reckon.

I really like how you have Palpatine/Sidious look away from Dooku as he tells Anakin to kill the fallen Sith Lord. It really sells the fact that he simply doesn’t see any more use in Dooku.
One, these animations are absolutely amazing. Two, this scene hits different and harder after you've watched the Clone Wars series. There is so much more weight behind Anakin's decision when you know the relationship between he and Dooku, and the struggle in himself

I like the detail of Anakin catching Dooku's free hand, since 2003 Dooku really loved swithing grips and that's exactly what he'd do in this situation.
0:31 Nice detail with the blaster bolts of the background space battle shooting up into the sky as Anakin chops Dooku's head off; a clever way to simulate blood for a "Gory Discretion Shot" scene.
This is outstanding :) I always though this scene was brilliant from merely psychological perspective. Pelpatine basically ordered Anakin to execute Dooku, and then did a little bit of gaslighting suggesting him that it was only his natural urge for revenge that forced his hand. Not that Anakin was pure and innocent, but I think Palpatine step by step made him believe that he's unstable piece of shit.
you should make them more expressive. in the few "talking only" scenes of genndy wars the facial expressions particularly of anakin were a lot more well done and varied than hayden's constant "teenage angst" face
This is really well made and is such a good replication of the 2003 style! I would recommend shrinking the lightsaber width but overall this looks awesome.

My one gripe is the lack of textures on all the ships battling in space in the background. Everything else is wonderful
