1:19 fun fact: legends grievous and ventress did fight. along with durge. dooku got pissed at them for doing a shit job at everything, so he used them as guinea pigs to test against grievous. he impaled and decapitated durge, and strangled ventress. and almost threw them out the airlock too.

Not really, there's no way a no force sensitive cyborg could have beaten someone capable of fighting both Obi Wan and Anakin at the same time. Grievous was overpowered in CW 2003

@@granalmirantethrawn2972 that was the point of grievous. A hardened warrior turned cyborg and given a powerful weapon in the galaxy: The lightsaber. Grievous never had any reason to use his 4 arms. 2 is enough unless facing more than 4 jedi

I laughed so hard when you changed the Ventress and Grievous fight.
I literally replayed it 3 times, I couldn’t stop laughing. It also felt really nostalgic to see Ventress in that style again, as Clone Wars Volume 1 was the one cartoon I could truly call my childhood, something I’d watch like, at least twice a week for a long time.

These are so awesome. The original Clone Wars will always be some of my favorite Star Wars on screen, and I really love the RotS scenes in particular - that is peak Star Wars.
Also: BRA-VOO with the animated crushed-chest effect for Grievous on the bridge. That is just brilliant.
These are beautiful. The 2003 Clone Wars is a forgotten masterpiece. Would love to see some clips from the other prequels in this style, Obi-Wan vs. Jango would probably be pretty sick!
I would love to see Tartakovsky animate Star Wars again some day. The man is a master of visual storytelling, and he's only gotten better over time.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this in the comments already but Chronologically the "Fine Addition" (Animated scene) should have come after "Count Dooku's Death" (Animation scene) as that's how they get to the point of being caught in Grievous' grasp & having that Grievous scene but I can understand the complexities of getting lost in the editing and doing a lot of hard work. Overall Your Animations are Outstanding!!! I wish I could see a whole series on "Genndy Tartakovsky art style" of the Lucas & Disney's 2008 Clone Wars. I'm still dreaming for a live action CW!!!
I love this so much, I hope you don't mind if I suggest an animation of the alternative ending of the revenge of the sith game animated in 2003 clone wars style animation, seeing as the voice actors for the characters are the same, it also would be cool to see a reanimated version of that scene in general as no one else has done so to my knowledge. Thanks!

Its a little bit sad that Maul wasn't in the 2003 series but he was the best character in Clone wars 2008 in my opinion

@@Retetop not really, Lucas version is the original since the character is a creation of his own, in other words, Grievous of the movie is the real one.
@@granalmirantethrawn2972 Nope, look it up yourself in the Vol.2 DVD commentary for the 2003 series. Lucas originally pitched the character to the show creators as a competent jedi killer, he only changed his mind and the narrative completely in 2005 when they made RoTS. That's not the only dumb mistake he made though.

If love to see anything with Savage Opress in 2003 style. Characters often call him a monster, and 2003 Clone wars was the best at doing monstrous characters like Durge, Greivous, and Ventress

These are all amazing, but as someone who loved the 2003 clone wars, hearing a different voice come out of that anakin design feels off
I hated this artstyle back in 2003, and while I'm warming up to it, it still feels odd. But I love the time and effort to took to make this, this is AMAZING!

Anakin's eyes were not yellow when he fought Obi-Wan, he lost because he wouldn't commit to the dark or light side power in him. That's why he talks about justice one minute, and blind hate the next.
