In the theater when Yoda pulled his cloth aside revealing his lightsaber, the entire movie theater became a rumbling of gasps and awe.. and then the fight started and the entirety of the theater erupted in uncontrollable laughter. Obviously I know that the Jedi were forced to be on the front lines as they weren't soldiers, but keepers of the peace, but with the CW, they had no choice but to be on the front lines and lead by example. Yoda Vs Count Dooku I heard that only Plo Koon beaten Yoda in a lightsaber fight but why is Count Dooku's Lightsaber dueling stronger than Plo Koon's if Count Dooku can never beat Yoda.
I remember the theater when yoda busted out the lightsaber. the theater went nuts! Even more so when you started fighting like that first clip!!! It’s hard to feel that energy these days with Star Wars.
I'm not so sure. Palpatine had been planning for decades, covering every little detail and readying countermeasures for everything he could think of. He left virtually nothing to chance. He planned everything to make it look like the Jedi tried to launch a coup so he knew some Jedi would be coming to arrest him even if he didn't know exactly who it would be. Therefore I'm sure that his plans would have included ways to defeat whichever Jedi came to try and stop him. Especially the strongest ones like Yoda. Palpatine wouldn't have let decades of work go to waste by being unprepared at the very last hurdle. It's why I also have a problem with Mace Windu defeating Palpatine in their lightsaber fight in his office. Palpatine would surely have planned a way to counter Wndu's Vapaad and to defeat him long in advance of that final night. To have not had all that planned out would be totally out of character for Palpatine.
It's plausible that Palpatine didn't lose to Mace Windu but planned it knowing Anakin was about to show up. He needed to appear weak and defenseless to further turn Anakin. You notice how Palpatine gets slightly more "frail" when Anakin shows up and even "begs" Anakin to help him. Which we both know is something Sidious would never do seriously.

I didn't see it in the theaters but I heard about it from others first, and people spoke of it with equal amusement.
I think it had a lot to do with Yoda's vocalizations during the fight. He should've stayed silent. Would've made for a better fight scene overall.

Even tho the prequels are my favorite cause I was a kid during them times, the og are better, not just because of the story telling, the word play, dialogue themselves, but the shots were amazing, wayyyyy too much open spaces, I can deal with the cgi it’s just too much open space, with non Star Wars like shots, camera angles are terrible.
