48:15 You've just destroyed 145 Elves. That's like third of the elves in your main force. That's nothing to sneeze at. Should have left them at the town.

I'm on my third failed attempt with this map. I got just a bit further than you did today... spoiler, there's a neutral hero with (500 in my game) black dragons. I thought about going might too, but you'd have no spells at all until you got to the third town. I also thought about death to try vampire/devil with vampirism... this one's tough. I'm thinking I won't see the end until you make it!! Nice work Chris!! (I had 1.7k grand elves and struggled more than you did with the sea monsters).
I think taking Cyclops is a good idea, you need a lot of dps on this map and you can stack Dragon Strenght + Cat Reflex and it will demolish 3-4 stacks.
Vampiric Touch is much better than Resurrection for preventing losses in really big numbers against creatures you can leach life from (except undead and mechanical basically). I think you need expert death magic to get it in Equilibris, try to get that on the druid if you can
To save you from the searching for the 5th herd of sea monsters: there's none. That quest hut gives you only dialogue, the reward it tells about is the Ring of Greater Neagtion and the other stuff the sea monsters guard.

You don't need to put heroes in the 1st position when messing with the Summoning/Necromancy menu. You can select the hero you want to mess with on the bottom right screen, then click Alt-E.

Why are you putting combat on your heroes? It's not like that's gonna do anything when thousands of troops attack them.
