Is being able to set what your nature people summon an equilibris thing or can you do that in the regular game?

In the regular game I think it's random, you can only select it with equalibris.

you cant select them in vanilla but you can still stack elves every day if you have a full team of elves and druids but only until Master Summoning Grandmaster gives you elementals and no its not random what you get if you have a stack of that creature in your army and only that creature (rest must be heroes).

I disagree with the only 1 magic skill argument. For these maps especially, you would like to have multiple guys with life magic (to resurrect each other when needed) and order magic (to forgetfulness at times 3-4 stacks, mass slow, cast fly on your doomstack etc.). There is benefit to having redundancy for magic skills in your army.

Oh sure, the AI is pretty easy, you could use only one hero and beat the AI.
