- While I have been really enjoying my HTC Vive XR Elite VR experience, one area I would appreciate greater immersion is with the audio. Sure, I can simply use ear buds, but I don't really like things in my ears if there is an alternative.
A wireless neckband speaker can greatly enhance the virtual reality experience by providing immersive and high-quality audio. Unlike traditional headphones or earbuds, which can be uncomfortable and may cause discomfort after extended periods of use, a neckband speaker offers a more comfortable and convenient solution for virtual reality users.
I am currently using a speaker from Sony, since I find it the most stable when moving about in VR. However, a much cheaper option is available from Monster - I have also used this speaker and the audio quality is very similar.

Interesting audio solution. Personally, I use my AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) paired to my PC when streaming Steam VR content. Excellent sound. No noticeable latency issues. And having transparency and noise canceling options is nice.
I use my airpods pro directly connected to the XR Elite. You can connected it via Settings -> Connectivity -> Bluetooth screen.
Cool concept though I personally like the extra immersion of high fidelity premium sound quality which none of the headsets have I use Momentus 3 bluetooth to headset for standalone or PC which is lag free and I find actually adds a level of comfort to the glasses mode which is the only mode I use it for PC or standalone. Each to their own… ;)
do you get a Bluetooth delay???
