Hi Simon, I've been prompted by your video to get one of these mic systems but I am perhaps being a bit dim witted as I don't understand how I extract an audio file when using it. Where is the audio sent to? When I plug in the receiver into the RC2 controller, there is no indication, that I can see on the screen, that tells me it has connected with the controller. When I set screen to record, fly the drone and then complete the flight, stop screen record, where does the audio file go? I can play back the recording on the RC2 but there is no audio file on the microSD card. where do I extract the audio from?

I own a DJI Mini 4K and a DJI Mini 3 The 4K I bought around 6 months ago, took out DJI Refresh and also have £2 million liability insurance on it. I also have both the Flyer ID and Operator ID after passing the multiple choice exam - which wasn't that difficult. I basically skim read through the legislation and passed first time around. I also have a large clearly visible label on the top of my 4K with my GBR OP ID. I haven't labelled or insured the Mini 3 yet as I've not long had it.

I've been searching everywhere for a video that explains if the adapter will fit into a bigger slot since my motherboard has 3 of them and not one of the smaller ones. This was very helpful, thanks so much!

Thanks for making this video. I have an AIR 2S and it was stitching all the pano shots and my Mini 4K wasn’t and I didn’t know it had to be done in the app before exporting the sad card.

If registering actually did any practical good, other than raising a lot of cash for the CAA then I might be able to accept it - a bit like being told as a kid that you couldn't do something and when asking why - only to be told "because".

I have a wifi 6 router with vodaphone .... there are plenty of cheap vodaphone wifi 6e routers for sale ..... would it just be a case of swapping them to get wifi 6e?

So the problem I continue to see is when booting up my router and satellites many of my devices connect to the router first. I need my devices that are furthest out connect to the closest satellite’s so they don’t disconnect. Especially the ones outside my home like lights and cameras. Help! Thanks 👨‍🚒🚒

mine came with 5.3 bluetooth.. but i found at the back label of the device is intel ax210 not TPlink.. what is that mean then? plus which version is mine v2?

I wonder if the class marking is allowed to be on the battery cover, as that's part of the drone body. If so, a future design could see batteries that won't lock into place (or won't make an electrical contact) unless you're using the appropriate (matching) battery retaining cover. Similar to CE Markings, which CAN be placed on battery covers. I suppose it comes down to whether the law will consider a user removable part to be a legitimate place for the class marking. The law may require that changing it requires a tool. But, yeah, the whole thing is a mess. Having the weight marking on the battery was a perfect solution... and having the new class marking on the battery would have made a LOT more sense. After all... the drone isn't even operable without a battery, so with battery removed it doesn't even HAVE a class as it's not flyable. This kind of nonsense makes me want to slap a politician upside the head : / BTW I recently got threatened with confiscation because I placed my Operators ID on the little spar inside the battery enclosure of my Mini4Pro. This keeps it dry and prevents it falling off - it also stops anyone stealing my Operator ID number from photographs. On the outside, I have a contact telephone number only. I pointed out that the regulations explicitly state that my operator ID may be hidden under a cover or flap as long as it doesn't require a tool to remove. The officer insisted that it has to be visible 'without touching the drone' .... which is nonsense. Worse, the officer that came out was a police drone pilot and should have known better!!! I fully expect that officials will start spouting 'class marking' rules incorrectly, and get upset about our older 'exempt' drones. I can only see our pilots receiving more and more harassment and red tape as the hobby continues to expand : ( Time to order some 'Drone flying is NOT a crime' tee shirts, LOL

Happened to me, signal lost when it was 10 feet away and that’s just before I landed after going over 200 meters problem free. It auto landed when this happened. How can I loose signal at 10 feet and yet can fly over 200m with no problems ?. Great video.

My controller will not power the type c receiver.

So this drone is $360 AU and the DGI mini 2 is $460. Difference between the 2 is vastly different. For the extra i know we're im putting my money on and it certainly isn't on yhis rubbish drone.

Hi just bought a couple of what I would call toy drone but as new to drones they were cheap on tiktok. The first one a maverick clone the e58 drone and a micro drone the xd1 both toys but with cameras. I did not know you needed operator I'd for these thanks for the info where do I get the Id from to put on the drones? Thanks for the info video cheers
