I had a 5 channel that used to kill my friends systems which costed like three times more than my system. I like the simplicity of using one good amp. This guy made a really good build

Hell yeah, man! If you can do this with a good 5 or whatever channel amp can do. As long as it makes someone happy, then that's fine. Using one of those amps on some 8's sounds like something I would try to do for my ride.

Call me stupid, but how is that 5 channel amp pushing that much power to the subs? The lowest resistance rating the amp can handle is 1Ohm, at which point it is able to push out 400watts RMS out of the 5th channel according to Skar's website, but the subwoofer 's RMS rating is 750 watts, not to mention there's TWO of those subwoofers in there. Wouldn't the subs be underpowered, and how is it banging that hard? Can someone explain? Maybe I'm missing something.
Skar audio is underated its puts out more than it says wayyy more

Lol do you even know what a 5 channel is? It has 4 channels for mids and highs and the 5th channel is for bass it's usually 2 ohm stable do some research before you talk .. 5 channels are made for mids, highs + bass ..
