Guys I made a MUCH more in depth video on how to beat these guys with ANY build! Some methods are safer than others, but ALL of them will get you there. ruclips.net/video/0uN2JU6zFw8/видео.html
lightning perfume bottle + rolling sparks ash of war does it for me. Just stick to his leg and spam that AoW. You'll be doing so much damage to his leg you only need to critical him once. I know this is some fine cheese but this freaking dung mini boss deserves it.
honestly? The fact that you were able to make mistakes and still take it out is a testament to the fact that this doesn't seem *that* hard... but man, I feel like I was running my head into a wall for a solid half hour just trying to figure out how to even approach it. Then, after attack its legs, did I realize just how much health it had. So I retreated, and haven't bothered with them since. lmao.
@@RoyaltonDrummer922 Throwing hefty fire pots and furnace pots in their basket deals a lot of damage. It's how you deal with the ones with ankle protection. You can also throw them after they get riposted. It does pitiful damage otherwise.
@@theaveragenormie7151 Am I missing something with the riposted ones? I've tried throwing heavy fire pots and heavy furnace pots into the basket and neither seem to do much damage. It only works with the ankle ones for me.
As a tip you should attack their faces while they're down. They get staggered for a long time and it helps build up damage. After you get a riposte you can then follow it up by throwing hefty fire pots in the furnace, dealing massive damage.
@@theaveragenormie7151 Thanks. Got him at the third riposte after having tried for the umpteenth time. Now I'm bloody stuck against the Ghostflame Dragon who's fighting against a group of Black Knights. These golems are not our enemies. They are for BBQ. Who doesn't want a sentient grill, always ready to cook your food? If you kill it, you are enemy of good food.
Im trying to get a rl 325 on ng 7+++ through the DLC, it is impossible to kill this thing. 60 strength 80 faith build. I have killed plenty of golems, but ng +++ is over charged, i got one wit pots on a cliff, but even that was tough.
Wow just.. wow. I thought there would be some neat little trick/gimmick to beating these guys when the solution the entire time is just to hit them really really hard. And the best part is after I got done looking this up, the golem I was fighting in the rauh ruins walked off the cliff and fucking killed himself SMH 🤦🏽♂️
Wrong. The two feet jump explosion hits you unless you're in the next zone. You can't jump it, you can't roll it and the hitbox lasts 7 seconds. Torrent can't run away fast enough even if you start running away at the first frame of the animation. What now?
You might already know this by now but you can jump that attack, you just need to move away and not be close to him, there's a big explosion basically around his feet and the hitbox is too high to jump, so back away a few feet and you'll still be able to jump the flames that spread out.
bruh, this is not 'easily'. you are showing just regular, intended gameplay. with no insight as to how the stagger mechanic actually works and how it could be done faster.
this is just a normal tutorial on how to fight them conventionally, it doesnt teach anyone anything new, we come to here to find a faster way to do it cause it takes forever, if you wanna teach us something go into tech that covers builds and what the golems damage vulnerabilities are, what damage types they are weakest to, content like this is for baby players and its patronizing at worst

Slam dunk heavy fire pots in the basket for massive damage
If you can't reach their head, a Stonebarb physick and Pest Threads makes short work of them.
They don't do any damage on the stunned ones. Only the ones where you can throw from above.
What does that even mean? Not joking
