I feel the lyrics is a big part of that style. Cassie has a very distinct and descriptive style of writing, you can see it in her early work with vocaloids as well.

I’m so happy southern country got their track released first, they’re always last in regards to content for the countries in Mahoyaku. The lyrics suit Figaro and Lennox so well after settling in the south despite not moving on from the events of the revolution and the upbringing that Mitile and Rutile were surrounded in their whole lives. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect song for the southern wizards, thank you Mili!!!

The wizards of this world are people human in appearance, but who's long lives make them less and less human over time, and as a result, wizards are feared and at times persecuted by humans. The sage (who can be either male or female based on your choice) is tasked with bringing this misfit band together within a year in order to defeat the Great Calamity the next time it appears, which is growing stronger and stronger every year. It's an incredibly story rich and character driven narrative told in a visual novel format. Unfortunately the game is only released in Japanese right now, but an anime is airing in January! On paper the premise is pretty simple but makes up for it with incredibly strong character writing, complex relationships, and fantastic character growth over time. Notably, this is NOT a dating sim or an otome, though the cast of wizards is all male. As a fan of both it and Limbus, I think the stories can be enjoyed by fans of one or the other and there's a lot of room for overlap! Unfortunately I'm not sure how good the anime is going to be, so I do recommend looking into english translations of the games, but the anime should at least be a reasonable place for new fans to start! Promise of Wizard been having only Mili vocal songs since release, 5 years ago! Actually, this song is part of a 5 song series based on each country in the game. All in all, Promise of Wizard so far gotten 3 songs by Mili in the past: Cast Me a Spell, Skin-Deep Comedy and Flowerworks. Then we gotten 5 other songs today: Process, Whiteout, Monsters in the Woods, Gluttony and Life We Sow. you got the interpretation of Life We Sow correct! southern kingdom is less a kingdom and more of a developing nation where humans and wizards, in contrast to much of the game's world, live in harmony and work together. this song is basically a perfect representation of the southern wizards.
This resonates with me, makes me want to fight so we can preserve as much of this world we are blessed to be a PART of. And that is : after reaping every fruits we are ought to sow. We need to sow and protect humanity roots. The earth and everything on it, that is ! Sow !

@@childofthecity6181yes! but funny enough the fans actually think that PoW/Mahoyaku being a gacha game is so limiting to the story, I think it would have been a perfect visual novel! The protagonist, Akira gets transported from their world to that of the wizards. They were summoned as the sage to help the wizards defeat the great calamity (the world’s moon) that attacks the world every year and has been causing chaos around the world. This Mili track is for Southern country, my personal favorite! You can find translations for the story online, healingbonds on dreamwidth has the first part of the main story translated and i believe someone uploaded it here on youtube with the full voice acting and subtitles :)
After watching Sousou no Frieren i thought "Why wasn't Mili called to make some OSTs at least?" since Goblin Slayer was a bombastic anime with Mili's songs. Love every single song that comes out

The songs mili made for games (or again from any artist to any game/movie studio) are already done several months ago, they just now get the greenlit to put it onto their official channel

まほやく5周年のイベントで新しいBGMとしてこの曲含めたMiliさんの各国の曲を聞いた時、今まで賢者として色んなことをしたな〜と思い返すことが多かったです笑それくらいそれぞれの国の特色がよく出ている楽曲ばかりで最高でした😭👏✨素敵な曲を作って下さりありがとうございます！

Promise of Wizard been having only Mili vocal songs since release, 5 years ago! Actually, this song is part of a 5 song series based on each country in the game. All in all, Promise of Wizard so far gotten 3 songs by Mili in the past: Cast Me a Spell, Skin-Deep Comedy and Flowerworks. Then we gotten 5 other songs today: Process, Whiteout, Monsters in the Woods, Gluttony and Life We Sow. Plus its confirmed the anime for Promise of Wizard will have Mili as opening too, can listen to it in the newer anime trailer that released this month! :D

Life We Sow portrays people's peaceful lives in the Southern Kingdom (I am not sure as I haven't played the game), while Dandelion Girls, Dandelion Boys tells a sad yet beautiful love story about a boy and a girl in the war.

you got the interpretation of Life We Sow correct! southern kingdom is less a kingdom and more of a developing nation where humans and wizards, in contrast to much of the game's world, live in harmony and work together. this song is basically a perfect representation of the southern wizards.
This resonates with me, makes me want to fight so we can preserve as much of this world we are blessed to be a PART of. And that is : after reaping every fruits we are ought to sow. We need to sow and protect humanity roots. The earth and everything on it, that is ! Sow !

@@childofthecity6181yes! but funny enough the fans actually think that PoW/Mahoyaku being a gacha game is so limiting to the story, I think it would have been a perfect visual novel! The protagonist, Akira gets transported from their world to that of the wizards. They were summoned as the sage to help the wizards defeat the great calamity (the world’s moon) that attacks the world every year and has been causing chaos around the world. This Mili track is for Southern country, my personal favorite! You can find translations for the story online, healingbonds on dreamwidth has the first part of the main story translated and i believe someone uploaded it here on youtube with the full voice acting and subtitles :)
