I feel the lyrics is a big part of that style. Cassie has a very distinct and descriptive style of writing, you can see it in her early work with vocaloids as well.

Alternatively if you just want to experience the story there is a anime coming out in jan 2025

Mili’s music refuses to be confined to a single genre or specific framework, yet the moment I hear it, I can’t help but think, “This is Mili.” where their songs are unmistakably-undeniably still Mili, but defining what exactly constitutes “Mili’s music” feels almost impossibly elusive, I’ve now reached that point Ah... avant-garde... I love the bard-core sound this has, also 2 songs in 2 months? Mili fans eating good! Edit: Just finished listening and it's really interesting how different this is for a Mili song! The true meaning of this doesn't feel as dark or deep as a Mili song usually is but rather light and fairly simply while still maintaining a strong message. I really enjoyed how different it was! (But I mean every new Mili song feels like an entirely new genre so I should've expected this)
