When I got mine cut shorter I went from 14 ( I was 14 at the time) to about 9 😂
I'm 16 and got mine cut to a pixie boy cut and I now look 12 XD XD
I got a pixie cut back in Dec. and my mom and others told me it that is made me look more mature and older then my 18 years.
If it makes her happy than it isn't to your concern. Besides, I just got my hair cut into a bob cut and they said I only looked older by 1 age. Not a big deal, I cut it short for the benefits and now I feel free!!!
depends. If the person is suuper thin, they can look younger. If they are more *ahem* developed up top, then it can make them appear older.

just last year i decided to get my hair cut really short as well, before i had always had long hair. and oh boy i am never having long hair ever again. it's easier to wash short hair, easier to dry, easier to brush and it's just so much better.
oh ya, one of the reasons i got short hair was because i kept accidentally pulling my hair while sleeping and got really annoyed. it also feels better in the summer time.

Nah, I've had a haircut pretty darn similar and while i had to straighten it a lot cause my natural hair is curly, it pretty much did its own thing for the most part. Plus now without all the weight on her hair it's probably more voluminous so I bet it looks good. (Plus distressed hair is a thing now isn't it? Lmao)

+Derek G That's actually far from what she/he was saying. She meant that it looks like she got a really short pixie a while back and it's at an awkward length that doesn't seem to fit her.
There are not really that many options, though. Either she's saying that she looks equally gorgeous either way, or not. It can't logically be neither. Unless she means gorgeous in some special way. But gorgeous is generally a descriptor of good looks to a decent extent, I would say.
So whichever one she meant, she had to mean one or the other.

they're always too top heavy as well. he leaves way too much hair towards the front. this cut looks like the 'i need to see a manager' mom. and i don't know how well she's going to transition from minimal effort long hair to curling, gelling, and spraying her hair every single day. if she wants something easier to maintain she'll clean up the front and top. just my opinions as a girl with thick hair that's been chopped above her ears for years.
I agree, as a hairstylist myself I am not impressed. However in defense of this look this was a good transition cut...so as not to shock her with a short cut too soon. The idea is to get her out of her comfort zone, but most of his looks end up...blah.

I've wanted to get a pixie cut for a long time, but I feel like it would be higher maintenance. Like, my hair is so long that it weighs itself down and doesn't poof up, but when I even had a bob, my hair would get so big if I just woke up or let it air dry. With long hair, I can pull it into a ponytail or bun, but I'd have to actually style short hair...

You've probably been one of those people to grow out their hair. To let you know, a haircut can be deep and emotional. To make it simple, cancer. The loss of your hair due to a deadly disease is something to be emotional about. A different perspective in life clearing the way of a new personality is also why people cut their hair, yes, it can be deep and inspiring, fyi.
Yes I understand that losing your hair to a disease like cancer is emotional and possibly traumatic, but the woman in this video was just cutting her hair for the heck of it. She was also acting like her haircut defined her as a person.
