Well, that was certainly a poopy welcome to Canada, eh? Good thing you’re all young and agile (and that you have cats with you rather than dogs) …that spot would’ve been impossible for getting a pooch on and off, or for anyone with mobility challenges (such as my partner and me, who could’ve probably done it 10 years ago but - uh - not now!) I’ll look forward to seeing you get off the wall and on to better things.
In the past we frequently visited Kingston from the US. We’ve also had some bad experiences staying at Federation Basin Marina, we no longer stay there. Same with other yacht club members. First, I hope you received a refund? We reserved a slip with power for 2 nights, the power was out when we docked, however, we were assured it would be fixed within hours. Well, we never got power, we and others didn’t see any electricians during our 48 stay. I was the only person who was bold enough to ask and get a refund for power and the staff gave me a difficult time. Kingston has had an uptick in crime too, Mark was smart staying bridge. We also enjoy the TI Club!!! ❤
Great to see, been on catch up, watching all your episodes got to 48, and thought heck, where’s the rest of the trip, fantastic channel, . Thank you for sharing your journey 👍
@ it’s an amazing journey, that you have undertaken, I’m in 🇬🇧, and enjoying watching, it’s always been a journey, that I’d like to do one day. Brilliant job.👍
I’m very disappointed the marina did not handle the situation better. Arrangements could have been made to tow that boat to a smaller slip. I was so excited to see you reach Canada and it was not the welcome I was expecting. I guess the reality of boating is to expect the unexpected! As always, the crew of Seashine made the best of it! As a Canadian, I look forward to seeing what comes next❣️
Rolling with the punches is the way to go. The ensuing treacherous disembarking and boarding process was a bit scary. Yeah, didn’t make sense to me that a tow service wasn’t called in to clear the slip and/or assist with the alleged mechanical problem. Se la vie !
Great video guys and the tie up was clever. Sea Shine is awful big. They should have moved that boat first you guys. I am with one of the other comments and the footage of Cinda over the wall was not seen. Hmmm. Lol! We are ready to see Canada. There is some beautiful stuff up there. We look forward to the next one. Have a great weekend guys!!
@@timfriel8273 SeaSHINE definitely became larger in Canada. Wait until some later episodes where we ARE the marina. 🤣Good stuff in store. Thanks for tuning in!
Maybe it's me, but I think that pigeon did NOT appreciate your boat ruining its view. I'm pretty sure it will poop all over your boat at some point real soon! 😁
@@ThomasKuhar Mr. (or maybe Mrs. not sure) Pigeon would definitely be within their rights to soil our vessel. But he or she were very polite and resisted the fecal temptation. 🕊️💩
Finally! Episode 49- been missing ya’ll 😊❤
@@MaryLeeTillman We may have missed last week because we were on a cruise for Christmas break. Maybe…😎⚓️Capt. Mark

What? No footage of Cinda climbing over the railing? The editor must be suppressing the news.

Don't worry, Canada will be the 51st state soon. Cruise right on in there. 😆
