great stuff as always clif, it sounds silly to credit a large part of your technique to a youtube channel and not some famous guitarist, but your rhythmic, constantly strumming right hand approach has really influenced my playing. love it.
Some thoughts: Jerry fingerpicks the intro, that gives it the characteristic feel, like Althea, GDTRFB and others. Also, there's no B chord early in the chorus like you're doing at 2:36 and 2:41, that makes it a different song :)
Great video and insights to a song I’ve been keen on for a while. If you don’t mind me asking, are those super distortion or super II ‘s that you’re running for pickups?
Clif Edwards , thanks for getting back to me. I’m thinking about modding a Strat with a Garcia inspired pick guard loaded with an HHS setup, kinda Wolf meets Alligator 😎🎸
I really appreciate these tutorials. The pace of your instruction is perfect, like learning a song sitting across from an old friend!
cool video, great Dead song, thanks for sharing, I like playing this one
Lol I was searching for "Clif Edwards He's Gone" lesson yesterday and today you put it up. Spooky but thanks haha!
👻
Just revisited this video and your acoustic versions and finally got it. Thanks again. Appreciate every lesson
I listened to an interesting one today, 5-16-1978: the intro was cool, the lead really off the beaten path and the end very passionate in the voices

Please do a video on your right hand technique
Hell ya buddy! I burned holes in your other He’s Gone video. I’m so excited to play my way through this one.
That makes me happy!
So that's what happened to Tiger...
A pack of tigers!
Great tutorial. Where'd you get the Tiger replica?
Phiga guitars in Texas
Forgive me if you already have but any chance you could share your wisdom of Bertha.

Is there a chord you would play there instead or does it just stay on the A?
@@vedantus Sorry, was away from the computer for a while. Yes, stays on A.
@@lit3229 Yes, thanks!

@@michaelradtke3935 Sounds like a plan! I took my Strat and put on the wolf sticker and it looks like its inlaid
Are you using a mesa boogie?
I use The FYD amp ,which is basically a twin reverb preamp, put through a Yamaha P2500S then JBL 12' d-120s for speakers
Is that a phred?
Phiga. the order is Doug Irwin, Moriarity, Phiga , Phred
Great lesson, Clif. I appreciate your teaching style very much.
