Sure made my cry! The goodbye is so hard! l love that you had pizza on the lawn, how fun is that and the hugs goodbye were so special. lt reminds me of when we said goodbye to you on your mission and love that Zade hugged you so long, l love it and the walking away got me! So many flashbacks and love that boy so much and good idea to eat some chocolate.
Oh my word I teared up watching that goodbye. I know what it's like to say goodbye to your children and grandchildren who have left South Africa and settled in USA 🇺🇸
I started to cry when you all started to say good by. I miss my son too. Zad will be great. He's been taught well. i pray for your peaceful feeling and know he's doing this willing and Heavenly Father has so much in store for all of you.

My husband and I and baby moved 1100 miles away from our families for 3 years but we visited at least twice a year and did ministry internship twice in our state. This was 46 years ago!! Will be praying for your missionary and your family!!

As someone who stays away from family and gets to see them only once a year, this really made me tear up. Though we don’t share religion, we share humanity and I’m sure Zade will do his part to better the universe where ever he goes. May the universe and god bless everyone in your family ❤. Why would you ask that question. Think about it for a second. Does a mother or father want to think of anything like that to answer that question. Don’t you think this is hard for them to see their son leaving for two years.

I have been to a Third World Country. I could not speak the language and I had an encounter that really scared me. It is interesting to see a different way of life but I was so glad to get back home I have never went back. He will most likely not be the same child you remember with a lot of growing up.
