- How to replace the rear wiper, how to replace the rear wiper arm on a BMW E70 X5. The rear wiper arm on a BMW X5 can fail for many reasons. In this case the base cracked and was broken on the wiper arm assembly. I have had to replace some after a car wash pulled off the rear wiper arm assembly.
In this video I will show you how to remove the wiper arm and the correct torque to tighten the nut holding it down. Now on this BMW I ran into a problem where the arm came off but the nut cert stayed in play stuck to the rear wiper arm motor. I had to get creative to get the corroded part off!

not perfect, cleaning angle is different comparing to left side, you should have lifted a little bit up before tightening up :)
It can always be adjusted but my friend is ok with the placement :)
