The wiper system in a BMW is not really practical. I miss the ability to select an interval speed that can be changed according to the drivers' liking. I had that option in my Nissans and Saabs, and really miss it in my BMW. In my Saabs and Nissans you could turn the knob anywhere between speed 1 to 10 to really 'fine tune' the wipers. Strange that BMW doesn't have such an option.

My rear wiper blade arm is not working. And the front two no fluid comes out onto windshield what could be cause there and procedure to remedy this issue on my E53 2006 BMW X5 3.0i sport activity vehicle I own.
Push the wipers stalk away from the normal postion. Step 1 will activate wiping. Step 2 will activate washing. Pull it towards you to return to normal position.
@@freddyking7388 is there any other option to activate the rear wiper? I cannot push away from the driver position, and also on a stick, no drawing that it should work like that? But the car does have a rear wiper.
How do you turn the rear wiper off? That is what I need to know and he did not answer that.
pull the stalk onto you but not all the way so you won't activate the washer

You need new pumps they all ways go bad the ones attached to the whipper fluid tank and the fuse is out for the rear witch is in the rear fuse box
