Nice video very helpful. I changed my E60 wiper relay and it didn’t work. Then randomly the next day the wipers started working again. I have ordered the motor but was wondering if it might be the linkage to motor that are old?
Hi there, my wipers arent dead but the opposite, they keep running!? I replaced the multifunctional switch of my steering wheel but nothing seems to work, only my wipers keep going and I cant turn them off... Also I get several error codes from airbag, speedlimit, cruise control,...
Hi Did you solved the problem ? My e60 just started to do exactly the same thing , wipers don’t stop , Central electronic failure, ABS , esp and more other errors
Did you replace the switch? It has to be the exact the same model number. I have a F30 2015 and the original switch was from a BMW 4 and first I replaced it with another model number for a BMW 3 series but that did not work, I had the exact same problem as you... @@MrOvidiu009
@@nicolassaiki1017 the motor was replaced! Works fine now! But it shouldn’t happen! Same with the front passenger winder motor, it was replaced! Very disappointed in BMW marketing itself as luxury brand! After 20 years you might expect this problem.
I have to tell you, the US BMW is a LOT easier for access to fuses. Shame BMW couldn't make the right hand drive fuse box as simple an the left hand drive ones.

Ignore that beg for coffee, do both of your wipers function in sync? If so then your linkage is perfectly fine.

My wipers work for a while then they stop! Wait half an hour later approximately they work again. Hope it is a simple fix!
