Durian is commonly known in Southeast Asia as the "King of Fruits" otherwise also "The Smelliest Fruit in the World" around the globe. As the fruit is known for its spiky exterior and its pungent smell. Many couldn't stand the smell, while there are many who love for the creamy rich texture and bittersweet taste of the fruit.
In Singapore, every year durian lovers wait for the durian season. During this period, they can get the sweetest and freshest durians straight from the plantations - nearest from Malaysia.
You can find durian through the year, but during peak season you will get the best-tasty ones. Price of durian depends on the supply - the price will be lower if there is an abundance of supply to meet the demand. The peak season typically occurs from June to September.

a bit surprised to see many D101 being sold in SG. coz most Singaporeans prefer creamy bitter-sweet type of durian. D101 is mostly sweet and creamy only..
