the taste is more bitter and smell is stronger for this black gold musang king..why called black gold musang king?..its because they are grown on hill side...the roots are stronger and the trees healthier..because on hill side..water drain faster..the roots are not immersed in water like flat land musang king..that is why more expensive..
Try durian crepe too..it is delicious & creamy, kind of dessert..I think it is there, in the fridge..mostly it is stored in fridge to keep it cool and avoid it from melting 😊

You know that durian can be eaten with pulut rice/glutinous rice and coconut milk. I think pulut rice is like the rice that they use for sushi. Add sugar if you like sweets.

My parents are Kampung (village) people and have been eating only Kampung durians all their lives. When I bought some Black Gold Musang KIng for them, they also displayed the same behavior when they tried it. They both kept quiet and kept on eating, until they finished the whole bucket load. isn't Black Gold flesh supposed to have a darker colour or some black spots on it? i've seen one in Singapore recently. hopefully the one iChang had was better & different than normal Musang King. I always prefer highland @ top hill Musang King. more intense & bitter
