I rode both and decided on the Nomad, the Adventure felt big and more sluggish, the Nomad much stronger and peppier and just felt more nimble! And also the Nomad felt like a torque sensor, no lag, just get and go!

I got the Nomad step over last month from a local shop that honored the on line price and assembled it at no charge. A few extras I grabbed include a mirror...the bike noise kind of drowned out being able to hear cars plus the EV cars are nearly silent Got a rear rack and a Bushwacker bag for me gear. I also got a suspension seat post...TOTALLY upgraded the comfort level.
Great comparison! I love the styling of both but settled on the Aventure.2 since a local bike shop had one for me to test ride. I really think people over-emphasize the top speed limit. Very seldom do I go much above 22 mph on my A.2, and it's not always because I don't want to work for it. It just doesn't make sense for most of the time if you have to take a turn or you hit an intersection. In all practicality, you're not going to notice the difference in top speed when you're going large distances.
You forgot to mention the walk assist on the Velotric. Thanks for the great review.
I like the different throttle top speed of Velotric because I can be swerving slow in between stand still traffic.
I am going to check out these two for my wife and I. I like that the Velotric comes in different colors. I see there is a place about an hour and 30 minutes away from me in Mass that has both.

I got the Nomad 1 and my wife got the Aventon Pace 500.3. We pick them up tomorrow from an ebike shop. Best of both worlds. I will see which one I like best, torque or cadence . We have trek hybrid pedal bikes too. May not want to go back to actually peddling as much 😂. PS. There was a nice lady❤ who passed and she donated over 200k to RI residence, to where people can apply for a rebate of 1k and $400.00 depending on your financials towards an ebike purchased at a store only in RI. The 1k dried up. It is now $350-$750. The wife and i will get $700 total taken off our bill.
So which do you like better, the Pace or Nomad?
I have a Velotric Nomad and I love it! Super strong torque and and climbs hills with ease. I don't know what Velotric did to get such great torque, but I suspect it has a high amp controller. Look at TailhappyTV's video called "27 Ebikes VS ONE STEEP Hill!". The Aventure 1 could not make up the hill while the Nomad had no problem.

I'm in the market for one of these two exact bikes and I appreciate your video. I think that until I actually try them, I won't be able to make a decision. Which one do you prefer?
I honestly switch between them when I go ride.
If I want the bike to do most the work I’ll take the nomad 1 and if I want the bike to adapt to me more I’ll take the adventure 2

@@damientgerard If I was trying to save money I'd grab the Velotric E-bike. If money wasn't an issue I'd probably get the Aventon E-bike. Most of the people I show the two bikes to in my family and friends prefer the Aventon Adventure 2. But there are still some people who like the Velotric more.

@@darcyrobinson8754 I'm just now starting to see companies make ebikes for kids. I haven't tested any out yet though so I can't tell you a good brand to choose
I have the Velotric Nomad and I got to do a ride on the Aventure 2. The Velotric is a nice bike and performs well, I don't really have anything negative to say about it. But the Aventon is definitely a nicer bike and feels more refined. The torque sensor also works nice and you feel more like your riding a bike instead of just pedaling along.
I'm torn between these two bikes. I'd appreciate any other thoughts you may have on them, if you have the time to respond please.
@@damientgerard If your a more dedicated bike rider, the Adv 2 with the torque sensor would be worthwhile. Thats really the major difference, and of course the price. The Nomad is really almost same as the Aventon Adventure 1 bike.
@@damientgerardsame here. I have a Giant MT and Trek Hybrid peddle bikes for a more strenuous exercise. Velotric Nomad might be nice for a change, just to cruise and enjoy the scenary with minimal effort. I like the color choices and price too. Still undecided through. My son said to with first choice which is Venton Adventure 2. 😂

There is no comparison. The torque alone sets the bikes with this sensor from the rest.

I own the Adventure 2 and it climbs extraordinarily well while on assist. I am 77 and just started biking this year and where I live has some dandy hills which my Adventure flattens out nicely.

What's the battery range for these bikes? Like, on pas 3 or pas 5?
I typically go for 30 mile rides no problem and still have a decent amount of battery life left
Best on real-world testing from Electric Bike Report, the Adventure 2 gets 56 miles on PAS 1 and 38 miles on PAS 5. The Nomad gets 64 miles on PAS 1 and 36 miles on PAS 5
