This boot has a number of new colors. There is charcoal, brown, black and red, black and white, lavender, and noir. I also have the black/red but 3x110 setup. I found this boot made my feet so hot it was intolerable. However in the winter time this is good -- as with the Evo in the winter, my feet are freezing.
I also find the sizing unforgiving if you're on the smaller end of the measurement. I measure 256 -- the skate I bought says 255-261 mondo, which leaves a ton of room in the toe box. The shell also says 40-43 though they market it as 40-41. Still a quality skate with hard plastic which gives better responsiveness.

I actually took the Eve out for a spin in Las Vegas last week, one day being 105 degrees. It felt like was heat molding them for a long time. The Next is a heavier boot and feels like a ski boot. It is very warm and I have not actually worn during any other time other than in New York other than Fall and Winter.

"When I bought the Powerslide, I opted for a size 44-45. Initially, they were uncomfortable and even caused a significant blister. Although the discomfort from the insole persisted, the length was perfect.
Now I'm considering whether I should go for a larger size. Even though I switched them for FR 3, I really liked the Powerslide and I'm thinking of getting Next ones. However, it's difficult to find them in my local area, and I can't try them on before buying. Do you think a larger size would be better for me, considering my previous experience, or would it be the same problem?"

Hello, how much lower are the powerslides compared to your FR3?

Hello sir, that was one great and detailed review out there. I have been struggling to find rollerblades for myself. I used to play ice hockey for 12 years. Now I am 33 and that would be my first skates. Tested FR FRX and felt a pain in the Velcro/45 degrees buckle area. My feet are not the widest but still went for Powerslide Zoom Pro and they were too comfortable without any pressure so I had to return it because they would become loose within a time. Now my options are very limited. Would you say NEXT could work with an average feet in terms of width and also a little high arches without heat molding? Don't want to do that to my first rollerblades.

I would also be grateful if you could tell me your feet length and width if that is possible so I can compare the shell sizing and insole length with your numbers and check if one size higher would be good for my 266/103MM feet.

@@carrygun_ I think the Next are fairly accommodating with regards to the width. I am using the 7.5-8 (my actual foot size is 9. I have a pair of Custom HC Evo Pro that are size 41 but the carbon fiver is stiffer and narrower. I don't think you will have an issue with the Next in terms of width and the toe box is pretty wide. The only issue with the Next is that you really have to unlace them to get them on and off. It's weird. I never measured the width of my foot, but I was told to size up if I had a wide foot. My foot is 271mm so it just fit into the 41 on the HC Eve Pro. I had to heat mold the entire boot twice with two pairs of socks to push them out oa bit. I suggest you heat mold the liners for the Next, that will help.

Human foot is not flat as this boot creator thinks. If you build hard boot without regard foot anotomy - you should put a thick liner inside. This boot is flat and comes with very thin liner - so you will get a number of pressure points and сertainly a lot of pain. There are tens of videos about molding powerslide next with help of heatgun. I spend a few weeks to mold my pair - so now its totally differend boot. I'll never do this again - It's not worth it...
