Their music is like spicy food. Once you get used to the speed, you will experience the unique "taste" of each song. But at the beginning it just burns haha

That’s actually a pretty good analogy. It has definitely taken me time to acclimate to this kind of music, but now that I have, I can’t get enough of it. Though, unlike spicy food, this doesn’t burn my ass a few hours after listening to it, which is always nice.

just discovered this band last night and i'm obsessed. the speed is so impressive but that's not even what gets me. it's incredibly well-written metal. they use their talents not to do cheap tricks but to write killer music that's fun to listen to, melodic, thoughtful. haven't heard a band that changed my outlook like this in a long time.

listening to Archspire is like watching some really intense footrace where they all chase so close to one another that when one takes the lead for a second the others notice and blast past and then it repeats.

I believe that there is nothing more beautiful than the riff at 2.14. It makes me want to run, fly, scream, close my eyes and raise my hands. I am 50 years old and these emotions are truly the most beautiful thing in the world.

When a band takes a few years between albums they tend to come back with something good, where as when bands are on yearly album release record contracts is when the creativity runs out and even good bands release mediocre/repetitive albums

I finally thought my brain was starting to be able to catch up to the vocals lol like hey I might be able to scream along to this, until 1:10 in when he says, "Nothing Ever Written Could Define The Hell to Follow". Now that I've been put back in my place I can go back to relistening with pure shock and awe for the second of probably 100 more times.

it's been a rough couple of years, these last two, and i mean for everyone not just myself; but i had been feeling kind of disconnected from music in a way that was new and troubling, like i just ... didn't have the ability to love it like i used to love it. especially metal, for some reason. i don't know why or how, but this song has, at least for the present moment, completely cured whatever mental block i was suffering, because it reminded me immediately and viscerally of why i love metal so much. thanks guys.

I love the band. Musically immaculate and Oli's vocals are the cleanest and most articulate in the genre.
I'm afraid I just find the lyrics never live up to the otherwise stellar quality of their work. An unpopular opinion, I know, but call 'em as you see 'em.

People arguing over the tempo. Trust the word of an established, more talented and overall more knowledgeable band. They know more then most people commenting. 180 and 360 are basically the same thing. They use 360 to keep them tighter with limited space for hiccups at this speed. 180 is for guitar pro and its limitations.

Yep it's an archspire song. Enjoyed this one more than the last one I love when they slow things down in sections and go a bit melodic, the bass is amazing too.

My drummer showed me these guys last year, and I honestly was giggling with how utterly ridiculous it is - Honestly love how incredible they are as musicians and I always get a smile listening to Archspire!

I am finding it very hard to Stay Tech when you guys keep raising the bar. I felt I was staying tech and then this shit drops and suddenly I do not feel all that tech anymore.
That drum part that starts at 2:35 is so fucking good. The way the snare is ghosting the blast beat over the bass drum gives it such a good feel. I don't think I've ever heard anyone do that before.

Damn this song covered a lot of ground. The vocal tempo was crazy at times. I like how they managed to slide in some melodic guitar parts before transitioning back to the audio assault.
