When it comes to working out defence dice, you add the total, then remove any dice as needed, so the Panther would have had 6 dice, not 5, but great vid guys.

According to the rules, as I understand it and the replies on the forum; you cannot have 2 equipment cards on the same tank. You can have 1 equipment, 1 armour, 1 ammo (unless another card allows more), and 1 engine; plus 1 of each type of crew if allowed by the tank.

Woulda been nice to see the cards, how you are marking hits, damage and critical effects.

It might be good alternate list to swap out for Pz IVs on points and supplement using the artillery ability from the Pz IV (Long) release

on the self propelled gun rule there is a diagram in the rules which shows the firing arc on page 10. I think your interpretation is correct i.e. if the entire hull of the tank the SP is shooting at is in front then you can shoot at it. If only a bit of the tank your firing at is in front of the SP then you can only fire at it if a part of the tank is directly in front of the SP (Draw two lines moving out the width of the SP, if any part of the tank your aiming at is in this field then it is a viable target). I think the confusion stems from the rule on page 9 regarding line of sight which for a SP is measured from the point the gun barrel crosses the front of the hull. Having line of sight doesn't necessarily mean the target is within your firing arc. For example the target can be partially in front of your SP, but not within the field drawn from the front of the hull. Therefore you have line of sight but can't shoot because of the firing arc rule.

At about 31min the Panzer IV takes 3 crits and one other hit. You don't roll any defencive dice, but still lets the Panzer IV return fire. You should first (after rolling defence) draw the relevant number of critical hit cards, as these might have reduced the Panzer IVs return fire power.

Not sure the system gives the feel of WW2 tank combat. I just couldn't help thinking those tanks played like futuristic mechs. But at the end of the day it's a game isn't it. Good video though.

its a simple board game. If you want more realistic WW2 combat then look at flames of war or bolt action.

At around 41 mins British player kept the crit dice and rerolled the rest shouldn't he have rerolled ALL dice not just keeping the best dice and rerolling the crap dice?

I think he's doing it to add to the defence of the Stug. But it also has the effect of reducing its attack.
