Well done. I like the overall look of that's engine. I'm not into those big mama's one 12 wheels but you've done a very good weathering job. I'm also working like you using brushes and I like to add some airbrushing with it. Congrats !

I am going through the MRH blog posts and found your YT channel. I am looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Weathering is something that I would like to get into, but it makes me nervous.

Glad you found the channel! Makes sense to be nervous at first as it forces you to not be reckless, but start simple and small (light weathering on boxcar vs grimy locomotive) and just try it out. Best advice is to start!

What do you thin your acrylics with?

If you are making a commentary on this video, it can't be heard for the music. It would be helpful to hear what products you are using to achieve the effect. There seems to be voice over in the background but it is garbelled.

Mainly using craft acrylics, any brand just getting good color depending on situation. Thinned with water. More recently I’ve been using Liquitex Basics acrylics and it’s been working well.
