I leased a 2024 VF8 ECO model in Canada two months ago, and so far, I’m very satisfied with the car. As a daily commuter driving 100 km every weekday, I’ve found the VF8 to be reliable and enjoyable to drive. My daily average battery consumption is 18.5 kWh per 100 km, which is quite efficient for my needs. One aspect that often gets overlooked is VinFast’s customer service. In my experience, it’s among the best-very respectful and responsive, making the overall ownership experience even better. It’s important that only those who actually own and drive the car provide reviews. It doesn’t make sense for people who’ve never owned the VF8 to critique it. For context, I’ve also driven a Tesla, and I wasn’t impressed. The interior of a Tesla felt like junk to me. While VinFast’s interior isn’t on the level of a Lexus or Mercedes, it’s definitely a step above Tesla’s.
That vf8 seems to have delivered a very consistent and stable performance throughout your journey. It’s clear that the high level of confidence in our vehicle made any road trip even more enjoyable
I got a 2023 vinfast vf8 plus in canada since december. We are so happy with our cars performce the service and our love for the car hasnt changed since we got it. Remember to wave at all vf 8 you see on the road!
Thank you for sharing your VF8 experience! I have been driving a VF8 Plus for over 6 months, and It's been great so far. The EV having dual motors, is smooth and powerful with 402 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque. Surprisingly, the VF8 Plus is as good and reliable as expected. After having driven the VF8 Plus, I would never go back to any gasoline/hybrid cars because the VF8 has so many high-tech features that truly help improve car safety standards like warnings about overinflated tires leading to a rougher ride, uneven tire wear pattern, and potential safety risk of tire explosions while on the road. Its blind spot warning feature is also really helpful when you back up the EV or change lanes. In addition to some warning sounds, the yellow lights on the right and left mirrors, will be blinking when someone or some car is coming up. The software of the VF8 is so sensitive that it will send out all the warnings about the EV on the infotainment screen, which are sometimes bugging the EV driver. However, I like this safety feature because the warnings actually let you know what's happening to the EV, so you can contact Vinfast for a checkup/inspection. It's just like having a health monitoring device on your wrist warning about your health conditions such as abnormal blood pressure or blood sugar levels, irregular heartbeats ... In short, it saves lives. In my opinion, no EVs are perfect, but VF8 is a great EV, which helps get you safely and reliably from point A to point B without breaking your bank. Guess how much I pay a month to lease my VF8 Plus! After a $200 deposit and the trade in of my old hybrid car, I pay about $281/month to lease my 2023 VF8 Plus. On average I pay roughly $9.38/day to lease the EV, which is a lot cheaper than one Lyft or Uber ride!!!
One American Vietnamese guy, as a tourist, drove 20,000 miles around Us without any issues , through 31 states, even freezy minesota at-10oC. He drove on day and slept at night. His vf8 firmware was previous version of 9.1.0.12 so far. He streamed his route on youtube lived.
I like the way you experience the VF8 electric car. Don't judge it superficially, give it a challenge to have the most honest review.❤🎉😊 I'm excited to see your VF8 run in the dark.
The Vf8 car is much heavier than the Tesla. Partly because the Vf8's chassis is quite solid. In Vietnam, there are many Vf8 cars running on the road. When there is a collision with another car, Vf8 does a very good job of protecting the safety of the car owner.
@@pierrebinette9408All those EV taxis Vinfast cars are owned by Vingroup the owner of Vinfast . Most Vinfast cars 80% you see here in Saigon are owned by Vingroup. Seems like a desperate way for Vingroup to get all those unsold EV cars on the road . For the person looking for a taxis it is a good thing though cause it is cheap to get a EV to pick you up and the VF8 is a smooth luxurious ride for a taxis . It would make no sense to buy a VF8 in Saigon to give you an example it is much cheaper to just download their app and in a few minutes you got a car and a driver to pick you up and take you on your way .

Thank you for your positive review. Your money, your choice. Who can lie in your own experience? I know many negative feedbacks before and VF is trying their best to bring the best cars If you care about it, go to the showroom and try it. If VF is not your choice, I would be grateful if you could give your positive feedback for them to manufacture EVs better. Thank you so much for your video.
Sometimes after driving a VF8, you will hear some noise from the exhaust fan under the hood when parking. Just turn off the fan (moving the fan number to zero) on the infotainment screen before parking the EV, and the VF8 will be calm and quiet 😁
I have had a few issues at different EA stations with my VF8. Just wondering what order you follow when charging at EA. Do you connect first, do you activate with the EA app first, do you use the Vinfast app?
@@OurMusicalJourney-gm8wk follow EA instructions and used the EA app to initiate a charge. Had zero issues. I did notice the handshake on time did vary from station to station. Plug in, activate with app and wait
Would be interested in knowing what it cost in buying electricity vs what it would cost if you were in a similar size ICE car ? Another thing how many times did you have to stop to charge vs how many stops it would take to fill a gas tank . On average how long were you stopped to charge and why only charge to 80% ? Looking at all these charging stations they seem to be an afterthought with chargers put in parking lots with no roof coverage at all . When you fill your tank with gas there is a roof to protect from rain and sun and you are only there a few minutes. These EV chargers are out in the open where you will bake in the sun or get soaked in the rain . It all seems makeshift and I don’t really think EV driving is there yet . If there was a large savings in cost of electricity vs gas perhaps it makes up on the inconvenience And is it cheaper charging at home vs outside ? These are the things people need to know to make their decisions when deciding to go the EV route .
I charge at home 99% of the time and it costs almost nothing where I live. I couldn’t tell you about gas costs, im not even sure what gas costs anymore
Vinfast have new worthy updates. One is tweak alert noisy. Another is fast charge up to 80%, like smartphone. Previous version didn't charge so fast over 20% and below 80%. It,s huge update
